Having received many viewer complaints regarding how out of round my SG-250 grinding wheel was, I recorded this video to illustrate exactly how I dress the SG-250 for success.
I was really hoping to see the full truing process. I hope you can show the full video next time from start to finish - with a stone that is in a real need of truing like this one. There are alot of truing videos out there, but they are all featuring a perfect stone, so I had high hopes for this one. Or if you can - just reupload the truing part in normal speed and sound for those of us that wants to see it!
I spose I figured watching it at real speed would be too boring for everyone. I think I did one once though. I’ll have to check back through my videos. This movie and its editing has long been deleted from my phone.
@@rhinejuice The last hour was a new record high at 350,000 new views. Instead of petering out it's actually accelerating and building faster! Been averaging about a quarter of a million views per hour since it started to explode on Saturday. Income is eye opening and jaw dropping as well. Remember the lawn mower guy?
@@VintageEngineRepairs I have been looking for you everywhere!! I knew you were a spoon carver but I could never find you again and I lost my facebook account so couldn't find our conversation. The british accent through me on the small engine channel but now I remember. Perth. Everyone, this is the guy who not only sold me my SJ-250 but also gifted me the piece of leather that I've been using to strop with chrome oxide all this time! Tom, I've been burning to ask...what is that leather? Is it kangaroo body leather? Have you seen my foray into kangaroo tails?
round about 7 knifes per mil. that's great to know and helps to price my service more accurately. thanks you
I estimate about 400-500 knives per wheel x $15 (less $425 for the wheel) = profitable.
