Summary guy: 1) make your everyday the same: you should be doing the same shit everyday. Make a schedule and stick to it 2) enter robot mode: do not ask questions and just do what your schedule says 3) get to 80% and then stop 4) do the highlight of the day everyday and always finish it: have that 1 extremely important thing to do today and then do it. It might not take your entire day so you can do other work but always complete the highlight
These tips are amazing, the robot mode especially. I entered robot mode for 2 months preparing for a fight of mine and i made the most progress I’ve ever made during training. Same with any self help habits I introduce into my life, I find that when I just follow these rules I set out for myself the progress just appears out of nowhere. I was recently looking back on some old Snapchat memories of myself 5 months ago and I can barely recognize that person. I feel like I’ve been in a flow state for the past little bit but still finding time to appreciate the little things. I’ve honestly never been more happy and If I’ve learned anything it’s that the routine you create for yourself truly is one of the most fulfilling things you can do
This is creepily similar to the concept I have been employing during universities most difficult weeks. Make a list, execute, and don't make excuses. I have told at least 3 people that principle in the last week. It builds mental toughness, actually gets things done, and you can evaluate the best path forward when you have the time to think. Up until then, you know what you need to do, you just probably don't want to do it.
Starting from today, the next 100 days will be the exact same. I will check back in after this period to see how I’m going. My day will include: * waking up early morning * gymming everyday, resting Sun * journalling every night * minoxidil 2x a day * skincare 2x a day * working on income streams every single day!! Keep me accountable YT!
Man that 80% rule really got me. I often find it hard to stop and move on to other things when I'm really involved in some project. It's kind of a obsession with perfection that really screws my schedule and mental peace . I'll definitely try to remember this the next time.
Hey brother I'm trying to my thing on my channel. Tones of inspiration from C.S.. here starting from 0. being vulnerable ect... Happy Holidays All the love to all
Robot mode is real, I've never been able to keep a schedule for longer than a few days because my emotions want to change things, now it's time to do Captain Sinbad 100 day challenge and I'm going to make a video for it too, let's see how productive I become
Get it brotha, hope you reach your goals and complete it. Just wanted to say something real quick, don’t over do it with “Robot mode”. You might achieve your short term goals but take breaks because mental burn out is real and one can burn out and end up wasting just as much time after the goal and challenge is completed. Hope it works out well! Good luck
During my school days I was happier than usual but i never realised the happiness was because of having a disciplined life and following the same routine everyday. Waking up at 5:00 going to the stadium playing football then after school then tuition and after that Little bit self study and repeat. But during COVID when I was free to do anything I didn't achieve anything because I had no schedule and after realising free spirited life is not for me I need the same disciplined life as I had before though now I'm better at least i study everyday but i have to maintain my physical health(I was doing sprints twice a week and used to play football but i got injured and for a month i didn't exercise) and sleeping schedule.
The 80% part resonated with me. I feel like that sort of distribution works with school grades, too. It usually takes exponentially more work to make an A over a B, for example.
100% agree! I’m on day #4 of the 100 day creator challenge that I host (and of course do myself as well). We have 30 other folks joining in the challenge so far, lots of fun!
Hey, that's Anthony Vicino @7:15 Principle 3: Good enough is a great stopping point. Learn to stop or quit at 80% or 90%, because oftentimes the difference between 80-90% and 100% is negligible. This will prevent you from becoming a perfectionist and keep your mind in an action-taking bias and the time and energy costs of going from good to perfect are oftentimes disproportionately and exponentially more .... See, I quit at 90%.
at 4:46 that transition where your hand starts from the same place as the reference video was amazing ,I don't know if it was intentional but looked cool. Keep up the good work.
I really like the idea of "entering robot mode." I know many times I will try to find excuses or distractions in order to not finish what I need to do, especially at work. I just have to set that time and focus on completing my tasks. 👍
Just before this video came out. I was reviewing what needs to be eliminated and what needs to be kept from my daily habits. Cause am always stuck in the mental mess that ‘Ohh i missed that I missed this’ Thanks for another great video.
Great video Nikhil! I've been working out first thing in the morning for about six months, but often I was just very exhausted afterwards and couldn't focus on the mental tasks ahead of me. I'm now trying to flip it around and work out in the middle of the day and feel like it's working much better for me. I still get some fresh air shortly after getting up (it's still dark out at that time though), usually just by walking to the office.

Im a recovering addict and think you are able to provide very clear insights on what works and doesn't because of your extensive work. Keep it up, know where you want to go. Cheers.
I love what you said abt the 90%, especially when talking abt youtube filmmaking and editing. Sometomes its tough to just drop the task when you know it should be better, but the storyline will not be improved more than 5% by spending a few hours on the extra 10%. The storyline is going to be what carries viewers to watch thru the video, so if you already hit that 90%, the story is 99% formed already. Good vid man. Ill try the highlight of the day thing out
I sometimes tell myself "you're not human you are a machine" and just do what I have to do regardless of my mood. Sounds just like your robot mode concept. Good stuff as always!

Just started watching. LFG. 💥🚀 On Day 15 of no fap, no drinking, no smoking, and running a sh*t ton of miles (35 miles in the last week, and ramping that up). Edit: I hate the word ‘jogging.’ I’m not jogging, I’m running.
Loved this! I prefer these classic Cap'n Sinbad videos over the Manosphere theme videos. Not that the latter ain't important, but I believe these type of videos are far more valuable on your channel.
I’m a running streak person, I run at least 1 mile a day, and I can certainly attest to 100 days being way better than 30 days for real change to take place. Those first 100 days were fucking brutal. Start small, stay consistent and shit happens.
bhaiya, all the points that you made are actually very useful and pretty genuine. 1 doing the task upto 80% ,2 doing the highilght of the day , 3 doing the same schedule everyday... I have always felt that whenever i have done something on a 2-3 days streak , then the next day there comes and unavoidable obstacle that just ruins your happiness and confidence that you had already gained, it just kills the momentum, ive tried to add many good habits in my daily routine but i just give up to those universal obstacles. Also i had a question, the part where you mentioned that " follow the same plan for everyday " i want to know whether making planner for everyday on that day is helpful or just making a schedule for the whole 100 days ??
Great tips man, I'm definitely going to attempt these methods to see if there is an at least an observable, positive, change in my life over the next 100 days. Looking forward to the next video!
