Balboa was the best for pep talks. Everyone goes to the "it ain't about how hard you hit, it's about how hard you can get hit and keep moving forward", but there's also Martin's "baptism under fire" speech and the one used here, "Let's start building some hurtin' bombs"

Rocky is such an inspirational character. He teaches us to keep persevering despite the odds and to believe that we are capable of achieving great things. Don't ever give up! There is always hope :)
This "going the distance" track version, from Rocky 2, gives me goosebumps everytime I listen to it. It is directly linked to the first Rocky, and his bravery while he remains standing in front of Apollo, though taking a real punishment, and still don't give up. There is something so dramatic into it. And Rocky 4 first training montage by Vince diCola (not hearts on fire), epic and ultra highly entertaining. Rocky movies and musics made part of my life. Moving, powerful, helpful sometimes. Will never get old.

Met Mr Stallone in Birmingham back in 2019 I think, couldn’t have been nicer and more honest if he tried! This man doesn’t know it but he helped me through a 6 year long battle with cancer! Which I won!
Rocky IV's training montages are truly unbeatable. I remember having to wait for it's re-run to show up on TV so I could record it on VHS just to re-watch it's training montage. Such an epic movie.

Then, one fine day when I was 26, watched it again, reeling from a profound hangover feom the night before. Began with hitting the gym for the first time ever. 4 years later - a serious lifter! Thanks, Stallone pal!
I love the Rocky movies! At the end of the Rocky Balboa movie when Rocky holds his hands up and the crowd is cheering, that always gives me chills. 1976-2006 What a 30 year journey!
Thank you so much! When watching I was tense, laughing and crying - in any order :) I was raised without a father and Sylvester Stallone became my father figure. I was learning from his movie characters how to be tough against life obstacles - indluding people - but also how to be gentle and respectful to people and things you care about. It's not always easy but at least I always try. Now I'm 53 but the Christmas gift from my daughter - poster of him and Butkus sitting on the famous stairs - hangs in a place of honor in my living room :)
The best movie ever, when I feel overwhelmed with the daily problems, I think and how Rocky overcome all his obstacles and in my head I can hear the montage song and that gave me the motivation and strength, every time that I have the opportunity to watch the movie I will do it.
The older i get, the more i like Rocky Balboa (2006) training. And i feel like after 15 years, when i'm 50 years old, i'm gonna start building good old fashion bombs to my muscles. 😅
Rocky 2’s scene with all the kids following him run will always be my favorite. There’s something so inspiring and pure about these movies and it’s why I love them so much
Rocky 2 made me fall in love with boxing mainly because of Apollo BUT Rocky’s training montage compared to the first is THE best especially due to the circumstances with Adrian.
Rocky inspired me at a very young age and completely turned me around mentally. I was in an extremely dark place that nearly killed me. Rocky showed me that against all odds I could get up, stand tall, go the distance and show that I wasn’t some bum from the neighborhood. Rocky gave me the strength to win
He is the Legend, he is The Italian Stallion. He is my inspiration in the darkest of winters, he inspires me to keep punching as an invincincle summer through the coldness, getting stronger each winter. You only got to remove all toxics from your life, keep the head up and focus on day by day you will achieve everything, you can, you are able to do it, come on get up an do it.
From 13 years old to 44 now staying strong, you helped me keep the fire burning and reigniting that fire when it was out, stay hungry and strong, eye of tiger baby💪 🐯 Thanks Uncle Rocky 👍
Same here, I'm watching now before I go jogging 💪 . Keep doing what you do who ever you are!!! You motivated me with your message and I'm sure others will too
I like all those training montages especially "going the distance" in Rocky II, but my favorite is Frank Stallone's "pushin" with Clubber : carnival VS basement rage 😄
"So, what we'll be calling on is good ol' fashion blunt force trauma. Horsepower. Heavy-duty, cast-iron, piledriving punches that will have to hurt so much they'll rattle his ancestors. Every time you hit him with a shot, it's gotta feel like he tried kissing the express train. Yeah! Let's start building some hurtin' bombs!" One of my favourite quotes from all the Rocky movies.
This montage masterpiece is like a dream come true!! Always loved the way each Rocky workout scenes came out. This month (October 17th, 2023) I binge watched a bunch of those movies, and now to find this nugget is extremely special. Even more of a birthday gift! This will help me with my own workouts... at 62 years of age 😮
Rocky 2's training montage is my favorite because Rocky was down bad without Adrian's support. I still get goosebumps when she tells him to win for her and "Going the Distance" begins to play
That really brought a tear to my eye, loved it. My favourite is the Rocky 4 training montage but have to say I totally love the Rocky 2 run he does with the kids, absolutely excellent. Such great memories of these films.
Just watch the first rocky the other day for the first time and that first training montage hit so hard for some reason. This movie was something else compared to everything I have seen in my lifetime. A true underdog story that we don’t get anymore.
I remember that last montage in the cinema. There were all sorts of different men in there watch and as soon as the music started we all started cheering wildly.
The scene from Rocky 2 where the children run behind Rocky always gets tears in my eyes... Truly inspiring

Rip Carl. The motivation lasts forever ❤
Rocky 2’s scene with all the kids following him run will always be my favorite. There’s something so inspiring and pure about these movies and it’s why I love them so much
Little did he know the very first time i saw Rocky and his training scene, man that got up amd going again. Thank you rocky
Rocky 2 made me fall in love with boxing mainly because of Apollo BUT Rocky’s training montage compared to the first is THE best especially due to the circumstances with Adrian.
The moment she whispers "Win" and the music starts. Goosebumps every time!
It's the godfather of all montages. I haven't seen it's equal
I’m eight years old and I love Rocky😊
After watching this, I feel I can run all day long, even if my heart stops and I can't continue on. Pure motivation!! ❤
Rocky IV was just about perfect mate
Rocky inspired me at a very young age and completely turned me around mentally. I was in an extremely dark place that nearly killed me. Rocky showed me that against all odds I could get up, stand tall, go the distance and show that I wasn’t some bum from the neighborhood. Rocky gave me the strength to win
Rocky 4's training montages are the best in the Universe and Multiverse
Growing up this was me and my dads thing to watch every year around the holidays. RIP 🪦
I love the brotherhood that was formed in the comments, lots of rockys getting inspired by this video 💪
He is the Legend, he is The Italian Stallion. He is my inspiration in the darkest of winters, he inspires me to keep punching as an invincincle summer through the coldness, getting stronger each winter.
You only got to remove all toxics from your life, keep the head up and focus on day by day you will achieve everything, you can, you are able to do it, come on get up an do it.
yes. defintiely. He is the LEGEND
From 13 years old to 44 now staying strong, you helped me keep the fire burning and reigniting that fire when it was out, stay hungry and strong, eye of tiger baby💪 🐯 Thanks Uncle Rocky 👍
Rocky 2 was the best by far, he finally beats Apollo, Mick is still alive, and the training is phenomenal.
Best part of that is when Adrian says, "win".
What about 4? That was EPIC!
@@doomarang3208 I don’t prefer the music
@@nobodyliterallynobody You don't like Hearts on Fire? Why? It's so hype.
@@doomarang3208 it’s not that I don’t like it, I just prefer gonna fly now, I should have clarified
You will always be my inspiration
God bless you Sylvester Stallone
Same here, I'm watching now before I go jogging 💪 . Keep doing what you do who ever you are!!! You motivated me with your message and I'm sure others will too
Rocky is one of those few series to have such a long run of amazing, successful films, the first four being some of the most iconic of all time.
I like all those training montages especially "going the distance" in Rocky II, but my favorite is Frank Stallone's "pushin" with Clubber : carnival VS basement rage 😄
The first one, when Rocky's climbing the steps - goosebumps everytime.
Not the boxer we needed, but the one we deserved
I feel like it’s not the boxer we deserved but the one we needed
Greatest boxer who have NEVER existed. A hero to those who were told they cant.
@@wasabi5338"A hero to those who were told they can't" that's an amazing phrase, great writing.
14:49 I don't know why, but hearing Drago wheezing makes me laugh!
Is it just me when I start hearing Gonna Fly Now and seeing Rocky jog in the very first scene it gives me chills
You are not alone mate
im 39 years old and only few days ago seen rocky for the first time
and its just amaziing! rocky is the man!
I’ve just watched Rocky 1-3 and after watching those movies, it motivated me to take my martial arts and wight lifting beyond my limits.
Yeah! Let's start building some hurtin' bombs!"
One of my favourite quotes from all the Rocky movies.
I won’t stop to see these clip of Rocky for all life it’s a incredible inspiration ❤
Apollo helped make Rocky so great. RIP Carl Weathers.
Drago: Uses legitimate boxing methods to train
Rocky: Im a lumberjack and I'm ok, i sleep all night and i work all day
Legitimate boxing methods steroids is illegall watch the movie again
@@EdLowe-t9k i know, it was just a joke 😐
The Rocky II montage is unbeatable, it just gets you going like nothing else.
How many years it's been, still evergreen! Bless ya Rocky and team for such a everlasting masterpiece
Rocky II is my all time favorite training montage. When Adrian said "Win" and then the bell sounded, it was game on
Watching Rocky with the kids in #2... always gives me the feels!
I'm 5 beers in, sat alone in my darkened room and for some reason I'm in tears watching this. It never fails to inspire!
God bless the person who created this montage I use this as fuel for my old 53 year old body to truck through everything I do ❤️🙏🏽❤️✊🏽💯👍🏽
1:38 wow something about the build in the lyrics and him picking up the pace gives me chills every time. Amazing 👌
Same. Chills!
exactly! i love this scene so much for that ❤
Forever the most influential ficticious character in my life, Rocky forever!❤🙌🏼
The first and second Rocky is just pure determination. Always make me tear up a bit at the end of both of those films.
Alrhough all legendary including Rocky 1, Rocky III had such a badass training scene. My gosh.
That really brought a tear to my eye, loved it. My favourite is the Rocky 4 training montage but have to say I totally love the Rocky 2 run he does with the kids, absolutely excellent. Such great memories of these films.
The running with kids is what gets me everytime in Rocky 2. The best montage ever along with the Apollo one in Rocky 3.
The gold crucifix in R2 training sequence is a star in its own right. Magnificent
Rocky is Catholic. It’s a nice touch.
Just watch the first rocky the other day for the first time and that first training montage hit so hard for some reason. This movie was something else compared to everything I have seen in my lifetime. A true underdog story that we don’t get anymore.
Its hard not to feel inspired by Rocky and his theme music
Working my upper and lower right now in my garage
I remember that last montage in the cinema. There were all sorts of different men in there watch and as soon as the music started we all started cheering wildly.
