I did not make mine to knock them off. Instead I do the pipe at the end to make sure they are single file. I actually have a small platform at the top... and an electric fence. These are so OP. They stun the zombies 100% of the time. I like the platform because they are more likely to drop their loot bag where I can pick it up. I have my pillars surrounded by spikes and the bottom 2 blocks iron. My tower is held up by a 3x3 thick pedestal. I think I am 8 blocks up. I do need to add a few spots in the overhang and block with ladders so I can shoot down if needed. Realistically I can take serge and jump down and clean things up or lead them off a bit then jump back on the ladder again. With a hole facing down though on each side I likely would not have to do this. The last horde night though was a cakewalk, so I think I will build a second horde base in the wastelands for more of a challenge. I died my first 2 horde nights. I just was not ready at all.

Demolishers might become a problem later, as I think the sledge turret has a really high chance of pushing their button.
