I’ve just done 8 hours on my 25 250. I’m extremely impressed with the suspension. I had the stator rewound and fitted a 9 ounce FWW before I even started it. The first ride I found it was slightly tall in the gearing and went to 13/50 and even then I’m in first a lot where I ride. I run the same mitas with tubliss on my 450 and will change when the AT81 wears out, as it’s doing the job ok for now. Thanks for the vid👍
Insightful vid! Have you had a chance to ride a 24exc? Wondering if it lugs better, have seen older tpi xc being a peekier motor spin up in the mud. Thanks
Yes I rode a 2024 KTM 300EXC or XCW in the USA. They are heaps slower.. the flywheel weight it 970gm and the xc is 540grm. You will be chasing more power if you buy one You can play around with the flywheel inertia by changing tyres, chains and even rear sprockets. The rear wont light up unless I’m deliberately cracking the throttle. It’s not on/off like some older bikes.. they have tuned it to be very linear but very usable power 👍🏽
