Main goal of these video concept ideas:
My main goal for these kind of videos is to be as creative as possible!
Let me explain:
Firstly, my very first channel Mixeli (But also my latest one Volipok) post tons of Gameplays from Every Generation (Which once again was played and recorded by myself in it's entirety. It took me many years of works.)
My video have Educational Value and let me explain why: It does provide help to the user who watch the video. One of the few example for that is which musics is played from my gameplays. It could easily be found on video cards (The exclamation mark "!" you see on the video above at the right) and vice versa. (This mean that on this video for example, you could also find my actual battle gameplays of where this music is played)
Secondly, My video are transformative enough, I took the time to play the game and recording the musics. I took the time to improve it's original quality using Vegas Pro. Thanks to a program called "Track EQ" that you can find on Vegas Pro.
This program allow the user to enhance it's original quality and further improving it. This need concentration as each version has different audio quality.
Thirdly and as you have noticed: On each Generation, I use different background that I bought on a website called Shutterstock. (Which I have bought at least 336 pictures background, just so I can become as creative as possible and also work on a lot of different style using those background)
This kind of concept was created by myself since 2011. Today it has become one of the main concept of my channel that I personally created.
Lastly is to bring the community together. I have noticed that so many people are commenting and giving their opinions on the video, sharing their experience about characters from the game, confirming theory, saying funny stuff and I find this extremely amazing and interesting! I don't want their comment to be unnoticed so I have plan for the future of my content about commenting and sharing their experience on videos that I will produce one day!

So it's confirmed that Sun/Moon is set 10 years after Gen 1/3, which makes these dudes 21 years old.

I find it so comforting that they've changed the ages of the characters of the years to reflect the aging players they started with back in 1999.

The reason red doesn't talk is because in order to say something in the games, the other person has to talk first. He's waiting for you to talk.

I've always loved the implication of Red's 96 shirt. Cause we as players know that '96 is the year Pokemon Red first released. But in game, it's the year he beat Blue and became League Champion. And he actively chooses to wear this outfit in front of Blue every damn day when they're working together. Just as a reminder to be like "hey remember that time I beat your ass and you were champion for like 7 minutes?" Like damn Red the audacity. What a power move.
I mean, to be FAIR, if *I* saw a shirt like that and had an asshole of a friend like Blue, I'd see it as a damn opportunity. xD

When I encountered these two in the game, I didn’t feel nostalgia like everyone else did. I started on gen 4, so I didn’t grow up with them. They were always more like heroic legends to me. So, I felt like I was meeting two real life legends

I started with Pokemon Red in 1999 with my gameboy color, i was a little kid around 6-7 years, damn now i'm 27 years old, when i was playing Pokemon S&M and i was exploring after being champion i never expected to find them ever, my heart was all pumped up when i saw them for the first time, it was an amazing experience for me. I barely find time to play games now, since life is busy when you grow up, so it felt so amazing.

I went to the battle tree because faba destroyed me first time in post game (he almost destroyed me earlier but I killed his Hypnos which is the most nightmarish part of his battle). Red was tough but I won and then I beat the rainbow rocker postgame
Red is probably one of my favorite legends in a video game. Throughout all of the games, he's mentioned, and he's usually treated by the community as a heroic legend. Even if you didn't beat him in G/S/C or is HGSS, you've still heard about him, as a celebrity in the Pokemon world. Even if you did beat him, up on Mt. Silver, you had a sort of equal level. One master to another. He's just...Great.

It's funny how childhood rivals grew up to know each other that well. They are perfect rivals. I actually want to know if either of them raised a family? If we ever get another set of Kanto remakes it'd be cool if we were reds son and the mom was there because red was on a journey (Alola) and would be home soon. Your rival would be blues son! I love how when it comes down to this music, it sounds like Blue is represented by the strings, and Red is represented by the accordion. (You'll notice that most of the strings relate to RBY's champion theme, and the accordion, if you listen closely, is based around GSC's champion theme.)

There's something about both this theme and the characters themselves which allow Red and Blue to be represented in such a different light that no other character seems to bring to the table.
For those who played the Pokemon Games of Gen 1 to Gen 3 as kids, you'd probably get hit with a major wave of nostalgia with these characters...
But for those who played, say, Gen 4 to Gen 6 as kids (such as me, who started at Gen 5), this is more like meeting a legend who is at a height you can only dream to achieve. Another comment in this video has stated this as well and I'm glad to see I'm not the only one who feels this way.
Red and Blue are the nostalgic companions of the old, and the heroic legends of the new.
That’s really special, coming from a 31 year old who grew up with these two.

I'm 36 and started with Pokemon Red in gen 1, but to be honest, many of our teams were better and stronger than Red's generic "the most likely Pokemon everyone used" team. I mean, there's no Alakazam, Gengar, or Machamp on his team. A lot of us are stronger than Red is with this team, is what I'm saying.

I agree, that is arguable. I'd say one that's more iconic is that, "DANANANANANANANA," that almost every battle theme opens with.

My nostalgia of watching the old Pokémon anime.
I like the idea that red has selective mutism. He CAN speak occasionally, but only in some situations when he is calm and can concentrate. In pokemon masters he usually closes his eyes for a few seconds to concentrate before speaking. People with selective mutism can’t speak unless they are in specific situations they are comfortable in, so could be a reasonable diagnosis for Red.
Definitely not canon, but it's a nice headcanon I guess. The real reason is actually just the same reason that Link from The Legend of Zelda doesn't speak, it's just because silent protagonists are easier for the player to relate to and imagine themselves in the hero's shoes, like a self insert character in a way. The other Pokemon protagonists have canonically spoken in other forms of media but Red usually doesn't mostly just because him not speaking and being a silent protagonist has become an iconic part of his character that the fans have come to expect, so it would be weird for him to start speaking more normally, in the same way that it would be weird if Link started speaking normally since the players aren't used to something like that. That said however, we have seen Red speak before even outside of Pokemon Masters; I'm not sure if he speaks in the manga since I haven't read it, but I do know that he's the protagonist of the Pokemon Origins anime and he speaks a lot in that. I don't personally headcanon Red as being mute or selectively mute, but I guess I can see why others would, although it has been contradicted before by canon.

Seeing these two aged up is somehow very cool to me. It shows that throughout the games, time does indeed move forward and even legends like red and blue change with time. Such an epic battle theme for these two!

Sun and Moon were actually my first ever Pokemon games, so when I got to the battle tree and met these two I thought nothing of them. And since back then I was inexperienced and I couldn't get to the top of the battle tree, I never saw them again. Coming back to the battle tree after playing Yellow, Platinum, White, (some of) Black 2, Y, Omega Ruby, and Shield, I know the whole story of Red and Blue and got to experience it myself in Yellow. So when I came back to Moon a couple weeks ago, I crushed the battle tree and when I got to Red, I found myself thinking, "This is going to be something else." Then the music started up and I was just blown away. This is such a good theme.
Red grew up, but Ash didn't.

Ash would only be 13-14 years old now (bc multiple episodes can take place on the same day and there are rarely any time skips between episodes anyway. I loooove this theme! This is probably one of the smartest trainer battle themes in terms of composition and placement
Sure you're battling legendary trainers, but there's no title to fight for. It's intense for you, but they're just having fun with it, even if they're going all out. This theme captures that to perfection. Bravo Game Freak!

It makes me happy that Red and Blue manage to set aside their differences and now become best buddy, crazy that they used to be constant rival and ended with they finally respect each other.
