I think we all love Sans.
I personally love the added expression on Frisk's face. It makes them feel more human, and I feel sad that this shows the Genocide path in the end. I would have loved to see a Pacifist animation here...
Speaking of Sans, my favorite part of this vid: he’s always smiling. Sans always smiles, but it’s not guaranteed to be a warm smile, he still feels anger and sadness, he just hides it.

That whole entire sequence just gave me chills, idk why.
Shows the disparate between Papyrus and Sans. Papyrus really believes in himself and wants to achieve his goals. Sans has completely lost hope and the only thing stopping him from murdering you is a promise done for the only other person he truly cares about.
And that other person is Toriel, who wanted Sans to protect Frisk. The only time you fight sans is in the end of the genocide route, because she wishes to defend anyone left, and to do that, he must break the promise.

I love that, story-wise, the video is repeatable and coherent. When Frisk dies at the end, they reset; thus at the beginning, Sans says "alright, here we go again..."

2:38 This was my favorite section of the animation because it used both the new 3D and pixel sprites like from the game and because of how well it captured the original scene, it's like the only time in the pacifist route where Sans' eyes go dark and him leaning in as he delivered his line was an amazing way to drill in how serious he was there.

In the old one, Sans was looking to the side, almost as if talking to someone else. It's not as personal because it's not about you.
In this version he is looking directly at you. Just you and him at a table in the dark.
If you understand what has happened up to this point, if you have done a genocide run, and you know what him sitting next to the door means to him and the story it makes it even more personal. Especially since Sans is one of the characters aware of resets and deaths.
He isn't talking to Frisk or your character. He's talking to YOU and the decisions YOU have made up to this point. It makes you have to think about your actions or past actions in the game. It's him threatening you to not kill anyone ever.
One of my favorite songs from JT. It's an absolute bop, lots of great puns and references to the game, and they nail Papyrus and Sans' personalities perfectly. And the animation and music in this remaster are gorgeous. Amazing work.

The animation in this has to be one of my favorites ever by Coda. You can really see his progression in his animations over the years and I just love how well-done his models have become. Coda's personality and humor really shines through in these videos; I nearly shat myself seeing hyper-realistic Sans at 0:31 tbh

I've spent a while saying that 3d undertale animations aren’t that good and 2d is where this fandom shines… but OH MAN You guys knocked this one out of the park!
