I hear so much of Robert Cray here...lovely to see a young black blues man doing his craft so well...we need more like him...promoting the blues. Maybe he can come to Perth, Australia so I can see him live.
Come on guys. I really don’t think color does or should matter. Color of a person shouldn’t matter as long as the music gets you by the heart and you can relate to the feeling that it gives you. Thank god (which I don’t have a belief in) that there is still artists out there creating that beauty that is the blues. If no video is shown, then do you have a problem with what’s being played? Why’s it always coming down to race, religion, gender, or sexuality. Aren’t we all just humans that are expressing an art through instruments? With all of this bigotry aren’t we destroying the one race that matters? That’s the human race. That we all are a part of. Can’t we just all bond over something we have in common and love one another before it’s too late? Have I said anything incorrect here????? If not, then what color am I ? Does that matter ?? PEOPLE, WE MUST CHANGE THESE STUPID WAYS. ARE WE CHILDREN??? IT SEEMS THAT EITHER WE ARE GOING TO HAVE TO BOND OVER BEAUTY OR KILL EACH OTHER OVER HATE. And the one point I forgot to add was the title to this beautiful yet haunting song. The title “ AS THE YEARS GO PASSING BY “ Over the last decade I was optimistic about this country moving forward, past the hate. Now I have just realized that the haters just bided their time until they felt comfortable in this country too say all of the truths that they were holding in. They were just waiting for the years to go passing by.
I don't know that I've ever heard Cray play like THAT! Gary Clarke either. I say dayummm! I play like that in the greatest, most epic dream of my life! There are very few human beings that can play that.
This is some of the most smoothest boss blues that you will ever hear in your life boy I mean these blues licks that he has played in this song are so complete so clear I'd love to know the electronic setup that he is using the type of amp everything I mean it sounds so so good and clear this is real music not like that old metal stuff that they call music that's nothing but a bunch of scales that's played at a high speed that's not music at all now this is real music what you're listening to here

2nd player is to ''showy'' alot of bad transitions and it seems he doesnt have the right technique,he is hurting his own hands by playing stuff he can't play very well. Kirk plays with total control
@@83roadstar That doesnt take away that the other guy does what he does. For me personal it felt like too much and too fast. He has all the technique so he needed to choose his notes wisely beside Kirk. Just my opinion from watching this live. Cheers👍
