I used your video a couple years ago, then my “Lifetime Warranty” reared its ugly head and I had the pleasure of doing it again, and once again your video was spot on. I’m not a mechanic by trade but this was a snap with your help. You’re awesome, thank you.

Thanks for the video tutorial - really appreciated how clear you were about positions and removal/installation of the various screws, scrivets and connectors. Just did mine yesterday and it went very well. Quick notes: when putting the replacement into the engine bay, the AC condenser can be mounted to the radiator more easily using an 8mm socket with the radiator slightly closer to the engine (including the screw on the side near the horn), then moved into place as a combined unit. Also, a small amount of WD40 on the bottom clips of the grille seemed to make them seat more easily when reattaching it. Again, well done and I know that you saved me time and probably a few frustrations - THANK YOU!

Really good video on removal but the hardest part for me was getting the radiator in WITH the 2nd radiator thing in front of it and the 2 hoses off the side. I needed that the most and that’s the only part of the video that you edited out.

You saved me with this video. 08 wrangler. My sister owned it before me and my dad put a new radiator in it...year later it was leaking. Got a new one under warranty and he said "figure it out" so I found your video and step by step fought my way through the process. Now I dont have to worry about dumbing coolant all over my axle and steering setup. Thanks a ton!

I just replaced the radiator in my 2009 JKU. Thank you for the video, it was my goto resource for the job - the most thorough detail, which I needed. Those screws holding the condenser to the radiator were a PITA. Unbelievable! Aside from that, it was pretty straight forward.
The only thing I would add (This is to all the people who have not done this yet) is when changing the radiation, you should change the thermostat as well. To do that, I had to remove the throttle body to get to the back screw. While the thermostat is simple to change on the JK, I noticed that my throttle body was gunked up, so I clean that while I was there. The jeep runs really smooth and silky - and no leaks!
Thanks again and I wish I could like this 10 more times.

Just had my Jeep in the shop for shock replacement (tools are packed away due to a recent move) and the shop found my radiator has a pin hole sized leak. They quoted $640 plus tax for an aftermarket radiator, new cap, new thermostat, coolant and labor. The labor alone is $250.... Based on what I see in this video I'm going to pull my tools from storage ASAP and do the radiator myself. The thermostat housing can't be very difficult either.....so I'll knock that out at the same time too.

here is a tip that will save you a lot of time, those pegs where the condenser screws go on the new radiator, self tap them before installing the radiator then use some of the yellow 3m weatherstrip glue to line the side shrouds up with the tiny holes and hold it in place ... makes it way easier if you have to install them and have fat fingers that can barely get between the radiator support and condenser.

Thank you I just had to replace the radiator on my 2011 jeep sahara unlimited. And now it's squealing loud when stopped at red lights and driving under 60 mph. When the changed it out they spilled coolant on the belt cleaned it with water used wax wiped with cloth and still no change. They then said the barring in the belt tensioner so the replaced that and the belt and still has that same loud squealing.

Quick question on the last piece of filling it up. I just fill it up, then leave the cap off and wait for engine to get hot, then keep refilling until full? Are there any actual times here or a guide somewhere on how to get rid of all the air? How much does it take?
