Great video! I hope you grow quickly. Couple things to note though: - Use vegetable soup, it gives you all the benefits of the mace of molag bal and volendrung and more. - Ebony mail makes it pretty much impossible to get arrested, which sounds like a good thing, but it’s not bc the guards will just kill you. - Oghma Infinium is awesome for finishing off some of the more pesky skills like Enchanting

Azuras star is amazing - it means that you can place a MAX level enchantment on your weapon and NEVER run out of charges. Make sure you get the black star.
Dawnbreaker is far better than the Ebony Blade because Dawnbreaker benefits from the Destruction and Illusion skill trees. It will boost the fire dmg. and fear perks making it a powerhouse against the undead. The fact that you can smith this weapon makes it worth the top 10 Daedric Artifacts.
@@atharvadeshpande4749 True! But I don mind them in Fallout series because objects, be quest itens be weapons, dont fall below the floor mesh and vanish.
The black star is really helpful in dungeons because you can refill it & then immediately recharge your weapons, which means that as long as your enchantment lasts long enough to kill one thing, it’s practically infinite in terms of how long you can utilize it, which I find really helpful. Great vid!
One other thing about the black star. It acts as a black soul gem and takes human souls, and they are always grand. So you don’t have to worry about it prioritizing a weak soul 👍🏻
@@TypicalPirate55 The black star can absorb both black and white souls. Plus soul gems run out where as the star does not so basically infinite refills. So Mace of Molag Ball + Black Azura = Mace kills enemy and soul traps, use star to refill mace. Lather, rinse, repeat.
@@TheUnseenPath Aren't druager usually classed as lesser to grand souls, black souls only come into dragon priests and dreadlords. which can pretty much destroy you if you aren't paying attention to them.
@@XSilver_WaterX Black souls come from people, even very weak people like low level bandits. Those weak bandits give you the same enchanting benefit as high level enemies like mammoths.
I will just repeat what others have said. The Black Star is OP, it will trap human souls and will not break when used. Kill a low level human and get a grand soul. It is like a Black soul gem that can be used over and over.
The Skull of Corruption was more interesting in Daggerfall and Oblivion, although it was an amulet in Daggerfall. It created a duplicate of an enemy, which would then attack them.
Black star = early level human soul trapping with infinite uses to recharge your low-charge weapons or enchant items with grand-level souls Oghma infinium = Useful for every character in a way that lots of other items are not. I'd put both higher on the list, especially compared to things like hircine's ring
Soul Gem Tip : If you get a crap soul in a good soul gem, don't worry, simply drop it on the ground, it should loose the soul captured and be empty on pickup.
It’s a shame that with smithing and enchanting unique items become a bit irrelevant. It would be cool if unique weapons were beyond what the player could achieve with the perk trees.
2:50 Azura's star is actually one of the most powerful items in the game in terms of power leveling. When combo'd with mace of molag bal, you can power level the crap out of enchanting by just constantly recharging your mace after every enemy kill, and with the black azuras star, being able to trap human souls, and humans being the most common enemy, youll get 100 enchanting before you hit 100 1 handed
Black star will passively level up enchanting. Kill an enemy with a soul trapping weapon, capture the soul, use the soul to recharge the weapon and repeat. Every time you recharge a weapon, you get some enchanting xp. This is why the black star is so useful. Another use is that let's say you need three grand souls. Just go to an easy place like Embershard Mine, kill a bandit, take the black soul, leave, use the soul to enchant an item, come back and repeat.
I personally would have ranked these 3 items higher: The black star, Masque of Clavicus Vile, and Mace of Molag Bal. I like those 3 far better than the Ebony Mail and the Ebony Blade. Enough people have commented on the black star. I like the Mace of Molag Bal because you can get it at super low levels when Daedric gear is hard to come by. I like the Masque for money and speech checks. you can add an amulet of dibella (bought at low levels at the solitude clothing shop), and even the blessing of dibella from a shrine and the gift of charity from donating to a beggar. With all of that together, you will have +45 speech for tough persuasion checks.
I just started a battle mage build, and it's super fun! First time using a magika-front character. I went with Breton for the magical defense, but now i want to try it with an Altmer, though, to be honest, late game enchantments dont really need the magika boost, but you don't necessarily need the Breton's magika defense, either.
I may have found better weapons but Dawnbreaker has been consistent with me in terms of reliability. I always use it against undead and the charge is slow to drain.
My favourite is the ebony blade since the enchantment is overpowered and since i started using i killed mirrak with out dying once. That is a huge improvement form before when i couldn't evn kill a dragon with out dragonbane.
Just playing Morrowind again and my Legion Orc is making good use of the Mask of Clavicus Vile. I am no more insulted all the time. And Volendrung "swing speed is faster than other warhammers (the same speed as battleaxes and greatswords)", UESP site.
People don't give Dawnbreaker nearly as much credit it deserves. In fact, a lot of people chock it up as an equipment scaling issue, as Bethesda made most of the equipment enchants NOT scale with your level. Daedric artifacts included. In fact, there are very few scaled items. Miraak's set of armor is one of them. Where at level 60, it will reach max strength, making the enchantments better, as well as granting more armor points, and reclassing the mask, gauntlets, and boots as heavy armor, instead of light. But anyways. A lot of people give Dawnbreaker crap, because its enchantment looks very unimpressive. 12 points of fire damage? Just put me out of my misery! But wait. Not just yet. That is 12 points of damage. To ALL enemies, not just the undead. Then, when facing the undead, it gets a DAMAGE BOOST. There's more. The enchantment is affected by both your destruction skill, and your illusion skill. In the illusion tree, there is a perk that strengthens all fear based spells. Destruction has a special perk for fire spells that makes enemies flee when low on health. What's important about this, is that fire spells are deemed a type of fear spell. So this perk in Illusion, just gives you a flat damage boost to fire spells. Which also improves Dawnbreaker. And it doesn't fuckin' end there. It has a chance to turn the undead. Or explode and incinerate. Now it gets even better. Because that explosion . . . still has the effects of the enchantment. Meaning when that explosion hits something, it also has a chance of starting ANOTHER explosion, which has the potential to start a massive chain reaction with enough undead nearby. And yes, it is absolutely baller. This thing is like the average synergist's wet dream.
The Ohgma Infinium can be duplicated with some glitches to allow a fast leveling. I wouldn't rank Ring of Namira so high especially when you can achieve the same bonuses with enchanting. Volendrung is pretty OP as a two handed weapon, but The Longhammer beats it on DPS, is lighter on weight, and benefits from Elemental Fury if you don't enchant it. I would rank Dawbreaker higher on the list because it's a pretty solid weapon on damage and enchantment, it benefits from Destruction perks and has lots of charges.
Honestly, when you roleplay like me playing a Nord which can't use Magic until i was at the collage then werewolf is SUPER usefull. Also you can beat Dragonpriests as werewolf which is for me atm unwinable without beeing werewolf.
I did the sad thing of restoration glitching the hammer and dawn breaker. I regret so much 😢 Also lets be real here, wabbajack is the best daedric artifact in the game 😏
The black star is helpful during the early game if you mix it with the mace of molags bal you can use raid bandit camps using the mace which uses it charges quickly and refill it with the black star, it will train up enchantment pretty fast while not being stuck just crafting, thats how i get crafting up just traveling around in the early game seeking mines while living in the haunted house
The deal with Azura Star is to recharge your enchanted weapons/staves. You dont really want to spend soul gems on that especially early game. And considering that you can pack Azura Star + Storm Atro Staff + Soul trap reaaally early it makes deadly combo. For characters that don't rely on enchanted weapons or use those with really high effective uses count, it's just mid. I would even say that if you want to enchant just armor, Gallows Hall is a better thing with its Altar that converts Grand OR GREATER soul gems into black ones + has 7 or something like that precharged Grand Soul gems available.
I'm pretty sure the ring of hircine only adds one additional werewolf transformation per day. Also you should've ranked the skeleton key and the rueful axe too in my opinion
It's a nice list but it all depends on your built. I have a pure mage built and Sanguine Rose is useless as well as for example Dawnbreaker. On the other hand , if I okay as a shield and spade paladin would be great. Guess you should make a list based on role playing rather than overall.
I would place Sanguine Rose in number 1. All other artifacts are replacable one way or the other but not the Sanguine Rose, considering that conjuration school of magic is the most powerful in my opinion and I'm going to tell you why. If you play with mods or vanilla, one thing will remain, that is make the game feel balanced to you. So, you're probably not going to increase your and npcs power without increase your summons power. It wouldn't make sense. I'm saying that because that's the only thing that would make Sanguine Rose not number 1. If you had enemies so op and your summon did not escaled in strenght with them. That being said, consider for example spellbreaker. You could use this to parry magic but only up to 50 points. You already have more powerful wards that can replace it. And all the others involves you someway engaging in direct combat with the enemy. And as you may be able to fight enemies In a certain difficulty, consider for example that all enemies are insanely op against you in another certain difficulty. Your 1v1 daedric artifact don't carry you. But If you have sanguine rose, you'll summon a daedra that escaled in strenght with them and that can kill them. Wether you're a warrior, or a stealth character or a mage, this cost 0 magicka to summon and you summon the second or third (It didn't tested but bone colossus may be stronger with or without additional skeletal summon) most powerful creature in the game at higher level (first one is kaarstag). If you're a warrior and can't 1v1, use sanguine rose. If you're a mage and run out of magicka, use sanguine to give you time. If you're a stealth character, summon to kill your enemies while they are busy killing your dremora. I thing It also benefit from a perk to summon silently
Downside of a mace is that its ugly never feels as good as a sword. Dawnbreaker might be Weaker but ill take that and chillrend over and war hammer or mace every time
Ebony Mail is only a few points stronger than Dwarven armor after doing [ancient knowlage] at lvl 14. But dwarven armor can be enchanted with anything you want, and stacked with the steed stone.
idk most of the artefact feel mehh. Sanguine rose is my favorite. Its game changing on early game and saved my so many times Oghma is pretty useful if you wanna get last few skill lv to 100. But it's not really game changing item.
Enchanting and alchemy will allways beat everything, but early level something like the mace of molag bal and The Black star can power every other enchanted weapon or staff you might be using. This is invaluable, what is an alternative at lvl 1??
Idk why Azura’s Star underwhelms me. If using the star boosted enchantments or could hold super large souls of maybe even dragons then it’d be something truly special. But I can just buy grand soul gems and get the same effect. At that point why bother using it again and again? For carry weight? Like I can’t just use a potion/enchant/horse to get around that penalty? I have the follower you get for returning the star and honestly she’s more worth it than the actual artifact cuz I can at least have a powerful wizard to help in combat
Anything I love any thing I can get that is daedric, All of it maybe I am strange but I love the daedric dagger i love daedric i use the dagger even on dragons and Giants I want it all daedric
Until you realize summon dremora Lord also lvls with you and to max conjuration you just use soul trap on dead people until you 100 conjuration then use legendary everytime the repeat I lvled up to like lvl 20 just repeating that twice
So volendrung is just an ebony warhammer enchanted with "absorb stamina" that doesn't benefit from smithing perks? So it's just a weaker version of the ebony warhammer
imo Saviors Hide is more unique, the AR is meh but 15% magic resistance on a torso piece is absolutely fantastic Its only downside is you can't wear pants anymore (which is why it's completely unusable and deserves the last spot)
