Man, hit it right in the head at beginning of video. Thank you. I thought I was getting taken because the Svartpilen I’m purchasing has the bulb blinkers. And every picture I see of them have these sleek turn signals. Beyond that awesome content. Thanks again for the knowledge
Glad it helped. Thanks for the kind words....
The more your seen the safer you are, it's not what you see it's who doesn't see you, we all make mistakes, I was actually told about that by a friend, they had a line of them and it had them resistance thing's, cut it off and didn't work again, safe riding, all the best to you and your loved ones
So much for honesty & transparency, I learned about led in a similar exercise . Recently I suggested you cary a quart of fuel then next vid you ran out of gas in the mini bike karma always sneeks up silently. I used a tank intended as spare cook stove fuel storage.
I have always had that can of gas with me on the mini bike so I was not worried if it did happen.
@@SeanFillner first rule of a good scout Be prepared!
Svartpilen and Vitpilen for international markets have smaller and bright turn signals maybe as bright as Rizoma, and looks awesome
Yeah the US has a dumb outdated law in regard to bulb turn signals on new bikes being sold here...
I bought that relay and the fuse for the lights blew… did I do something wrong or you think the fuse was bad already? I’m afraid to plug it back in with the new fuse
Hello from the Netherlands .
thanks for the video .
Sincerely, Hollandduck
Our pleasure!
Looking good. And they are ALOT cheaper than the Husqvarna set at Over $400 for all 4. Once the led relay comes in they should work perfect. Good job
Yeah I was noticing a huge price gap for the same thing. Seems odd right??
@@SeanFillner the price from husqy for a set of 4 ( front and rear ) at almost $400 is insane.. especially when you need to buy the Husqy proper connectors as well for another $30+ i think for a set of 4. Wayyyyy too much money
Good job.
Many many thanks
Hey , thanks a lot for those videos . Truly great ! Own myself a svart 401 and being new be in "mechanics" I m a little intimidated by doing things on it. And your vids are clear and well done. So purchased few things and started to add mods ! So thank you ! Also question , I noticed you don t have the bar ends mirror anymore , is it because on the vibrations in the handlebar ?
Also what are those in this video ? They are looking really cool , and allow to put back on the weights on the handlebar. Thanks
I include EVERYTHING you see done to these bikes or any of my other builds in the build series playlist I create for each vehicle. If you look at the playlists and video descriptions or better yet watch the series in order you will find what you are looking for.
I guess since we’re on the subject, anyone know where to get the blinkers that are shown in all the brochures/Husqvarna website on the bike?
I installed those exact led blinkers on my 390 adventure bike. I included part numbers in the video where I install them. They are not hard to find.
th-cam.com/video/urlbqxm1X2s/w-d-xo.html
I know your video says sold, but just curious if you posted this on Craigslist. Because I’m pretty sure I saw this bike on there. Was actually going to contact them, but coincidentally saw this video and now figured I’d make contact this way.
@Alexander Heilman I do not have a craigslist ad. The svartpilen sold within an hour of the TH-cam for sale video with about 6 people in line to buy it if the first buyer fell through.
Hey man. Im getting my svartpilen this year. Im taking notes on what accesories im buying. You have more stuff coming in yeah?
Lots...stay tuned
Did you ever end up putting that (official) blinker module in from husky? Did it make that big of a difference?
Nevermind I should have read each vid title, found your follow up!
In your journey, did you ever map the DRL and high beam to the headlight harness?
Is that a thing??
@@SeanFillner Tapping the red black of the headlight is high beam. Yellow green is low. Both are needed for the Denali Switch back turn signals.
Where did you get the oem relay? Link? Thanks bro.
In the description
Ha ha you won’t use a cheap knock off flasher module but you’ll use a cheap knock off turn signal. And do a bunch of splicing. When there are OEM turn signals that a be re LED available on eBay and other places that have the correct green clips in them. That’s one line I can’t cross is cutting wires on a vehicle.
HAHA! I installed oem euro spec svartpilen turn signals in a later episode on all 5 of my 373cc powered ktm bikes. Jokes on you since you commented before watching.
I have a 2021 Svart 401 and it comes from factory with led turn lights. I think that the USA-spec turn signals are so ugly...
I agree hence why I replaced them....
Really silly that in Europe these come with nice micro-LED signals, but the US (and of course Canada) get the ugly bulbs.
Stupid outdated US laws.
What a pain in the jingles jingles
💀
Jingle jangles! Lol
Would resistors still be need for all LED signals if I use a relay?
If you use these lights and follow the directions I went with mine I am not sure why resistors even come into the discussion??
@@SeanFillner I noticed your LED signals came with resistors and you had the relay on order. I was just curious if both was needed for signals to work but the video I found explained it well.
@@bobbybreezedid you end up needing both? My LED signals do not have resistors but I ordered the relay. Hoping I don’t have the burn out happen to me.
@@codyd4764 I’m only using a relay and they’ve been working fine since installing them a year ago.
@@bobbybreezeawesome, thanks!
Dude! Take those factory stickers off already! :P
No thanks. Not your bike. 😜
