The legendary bike needed our undivided attention. But just one reviewer couldn’t cut it. So we had to bring in three! This is their story of living, riding, loving, and getting intimidated by the big and heavy GSX1300R a.k.a The Dhoom Bike a.k.a The Suzuki Hayabusa!
Road to Bangalore is one of the best roads in the country until you reach Bangalore and realise the city has no roads!!! Bad roads is an understatement.
How tall is the guy who took the Busa out on the touring test? He looked pretty tall to me so I’d be very interested in asking how he coped with the Busa’s high pegs. This is the first time watching this channel and I have to say I really enjoyed this video. I can see all 3 of you enjoyed and were impressed with this bike. Traditionally Suzuki’s are inherently reliable and previous Busa’s somewhat bullet proof. It will be interesting to revisit this bike in ten years time and see how reliable these new electronic systems employed on this bike turn out to be. Interestingly I know people who are still riding 1999 Busa’s on original engine and gearboxes, they just seem indestructible.
Ergos: Fit all three of you comfortably in three different road conditions. Simply raising the handlebars 60mm w/a higher screen would take out the wrist pain when touring. Also, shaft drive would be so much better than chain drive. Who looks forward to cleaning the chain? An integrated top box option is needed too. Excellent report overall. Subscribed.
I read somewhere that for a chain drive system, there's only 3% power loss from the engine to the rear wheel, while the power loss goes upto 11% for Belt drive systems and 31% loss for shaft drive systems. There's a reason every fast sport bike is chain driven. Though from a maintenance point of view, shaft drive requires the least attention followed by belt and then chain.
@@AM-wq1xr My understanding of the reason for the chain is the amount of torque, the chain can handle it and a driveshaft couldn't. I am not an engineer so I really don't know.

I think very well done , only one thing I feel , which wasn’t covered was bike’s lighting , as this is a super sport and we can’t do much on aux lighting, how is the stock head light , can you guys say about it and respond to this comment
Hey ... I currently have V Strom 650 but I always had itch of buying a Busa.. however I am also skeptical about keeping both bikes.. do you have any views in this regards as is it worth keeping both bikes?
The strom is a different beast from a busa, use the strom for touring and commuting and some light adv capabilities. The busa is a tool for speed and fun.
@@nishantnanda8404 hi.... Have been riding Busa for few months now, while it can be a decent sports tourer but definitely not with a pillion... So while you may buy one but will suggest to keep vee for those long tours with your pillion
Great video folks, could you help me with a question 🙋♂️ other reviewers told that it needs special fuel called Octane and what is it exactly? I saw Pratik was fueling it up at normal petrol pump so does that mean the special fuel is available at every petrol pump? Lastly it’s a brave decision to buy this bike considering the price tag but I really want to fill it so are you aware if I can rent it somewhere? Thanks in advance for the answer 😊
Hello mate, need your help. I am looking to buy preowned 2021 Gen 3 Hayabusa which is E10 compliant. India is likely to have E20 fuel from 2025? Will E20 cause problems to the bike? Will I have to change fuel pump and injectors ? Please help.
It is a lot of money for something which is a jack of all trades.. yeah no motorcycle is perfect. But I could never figure out the main reason for the always popular Hayabusa .. perhaps just a big boy's dream ... Utility? Keep figuring. While the video is full of compliments. Frankly I could never place a Hayabusa owner in any category
@@BikeWaleOfficial agreed, but I'm a dual sport crusier adv guy. I think I'm gonna be stuck on a yamaha fjr if I'm gonna be able to move after an hour on the bike lol.
It does get achy a bit. But now with cruise control, plus a lot of buyers are raisers their bars, and even lowering the pegs an inch. Plan on raising mine. Had a Gen 2 for eight years.
Realistically I doubt folks will buy this bike as a track weapon. I bought mine for munching miles from city to city, and having a blast while doing so. Some will buy this as a drag bike, but they probably need to do lots of mods...... I guess if you touring Europe on the busa, and when you see Nordchliffe in your horizon, you can have some fun...

Great very informative video guys, I'm picking up a new hayabusa this Sat here in UK...
Can't wait
Wow, could you share your experience?
Same here, and where can I see the busa in person, I live in Coventry
One of the best review available on Hayabusa. Great work guys 👍🏼
This is still the best review on a hayabusa on the entire Internetm, period.
Great review. Although I wouldn't say A mode is not possible in the city. I found the fuelling perfect in that mode as well.
What a brilliant video!
Thanks Sumanth! :-)
Excellent video, thanks a lot.

Chain is better for tuners - Suzuki providing the bike with shaft drive would stop the tuners, makes the bike a lot heavier too

The number plate on the front fender NOOOOOOOOO what the hell

Is it possible to carry luggage on Busa during touring without scratching or damaging the bike? It is bothering me a lot before buying it….
I use Kriega luggage with the universal straps around the fram eunder the rear seat and hand grab rail.... 30L, 20L, 10L combos available...
Ship your luggage via Fed Ex to your destination. Problem solved. FJB 🖕🇨🇳

The stock headlight is decent. We did a fair bit of night riding and didn't face much issues.

Can we adjust the height of the handle to avoid the pain on the wrist?

Yes e20 fuel will damage the bike
@@Searchforfulltruth911 Generally speaking Yes, however Busa needs 100 octane Petrol which does not have E20 blending. So no issues for Busa owners.
The 1 gen HAYABUSA is the sportiest.
Because it is the lightest(217kg) & peaky engine.
It's almost a racing machine.
India should get rid of the grotesque front license plate.

I think I'll go with a tuned S100RR with 200hp to the tire, Suzuki should have made the Busa a 230 hp beast, then I would have bought one immediately
Lol, I'd rather you buy a rocket and strap yourself to it 🤣

You should compare it to the zx14r
