When he mentioned that in the last couple of week other investors had been very interested . . . Steve IMMEDIATELY dropped to 15%. Then the kid nicely asked if Steve and Glen would go in . . . 2 heads are better than one. GOOD ON HIM!!

I truly applaud the guy with the hamdog. At least he has the gumption to go and do something instead of just talking about it. Seems like a nice guy, not out to hurt anyone, and knows he could use some help. I applaud Andrew for recognizing an opportunity and not criticizing but supporting him. Nothing wrong with getting out there and trying.
I've been wanting to make one, and see what it's like. I'll probably get sued for stealing unintellectual property of I post it though.

Interesting thing is I saw the hamdog being advertised here in California as a unique invention and the only place to get it, about 2 or 3 days ago. For $10 id want one in purple or pink or yellow. Blue and red are overdone. lol.
A suggestion for the light stick medical device it's to create a sanitizer for the slip off end tips or make them in a way that they can be sanitized by a medical sanitizer the doctor or hospital already owns so they can be reused. Sell less tips but will sell more full products fir more money especially once they are made rechargeable with a recharging unit. For hospitals the recharbabling port could hold 25-50 units with a sanitizer case to enclose them like electric toothbrush heads are already done.
No sanitizer works 100%. For this reason, everything used in people's bodies needs to be disposable

Sometimes, it's good to don't need to put yourself 100% and let half of the company in someone else's control, or you REALLY need the money
50% means half the work, while the other half is very experienced and can get you far more money and succes than someone less experienced, doing less of the work.

I like the IDEA of the throat scope but it isn't sustainable whereas the wooden tongue depressors are because wood (trees) are grown for all types of products and I'm quite certain the plastic isn't recyclable over and over and over whereas wood can be composted, etc...Great idea just needs more research into a sustainable throwaway product.
Agreed, also if your child finds getting their throat checked traumatic then I think a new doctor would be better. Seeing a doctor shouldn't be traumatic, you shouldn't have to hold your child down

But it not only about money, it's also about track records, contacts, backgrouds, and all those things

@@skyfrozen8533 For sure, but after building a business of my own too I am sure those things would come quickly :) It also relies on what I am interested in, if someone has a fantastic company but I find it boring, I probably wont invest eitherway.
What else will you be able to bring to the table aside from money? If it's just money, be an angel investor. Also, why only if you win a lottery -- have higher goals for yourself and then, figure out how to get there!
