if the first guys patent was about retractable audio cable for headphones yeah that is a no brainer licensing play. you could license that to any number of headphone brands.

I agree on wireless headphones not being always reliable. I have jaybirds X3s and I looooove them - but they work very well with my ipad, not so good with my android. the bluetooth connection just sometimes ads a weird pop? and I can basically forget them on my PC because for some reason I cannot find a good bluetooth stick for that one (it doesn't have it built in) and the connection keeps breaking off. not to mention: they can only be connected to 2 devices at the time - so if it's paired with say, your pc and phone - you have to disconnect it in those devices before you can connect to the 3rd device. if you're in a hurry, it can be more than annoying. so were I a performer that needs to move between different stations quicly, - well, plugging them in with a cable can be more reliable and faster, especially if you are in a place where it isn't your own devices and Bluetooth pairing might not be allowed.

Well, over ear headphones 🎧 In-ear, I have about 3 pair, including Samsung Galaxy 2 buds, all of the in-ear I received for free, however I rarely use them so they're all still working. Still, because they don't stay in my ear easily and hassle-free, they're basically obsolete to me as I can't use them. If I could, I have no doubt that they wouldn't last more than a year either.
