The unfortunate thing with kudos is that my girlfriend and I bought Re-usable Re-sizeable Cloth diapers With swappable inserts Made by Nora’s Nursery Kudos may be making diapers into disposable cotton diapers But thats not really solving landfill problems Sure it keeps “plastic” diapers out of the landfill But cotton still takes anywhere from 3-5 months to decompose I can turn wood and scraps from the kitchen into compost in a lil less than 2 months So hypothetically she’s just adding to a landfill For 5 months… Until it decomposes And thats if its turned Which landfills usually do But nonetheless there are better alternatives Ive always been concerned with plastic consumption Thats why those “cups” for menstrual cycles are silicon Cause tampons (i didnt know) can legit give woman TSS(toxic shock syndrome) and kill them But tbh, im not your average consumer I bought glass lifefactory bottles Re-usable cloth diapers, with changeable cotton inserts And we just sewed all our own swaddles Either way, im not really the type to buy “consumer” goods so to speak unless its like tp, floss, or even garbage bags….. Usually when i make purchases(if i can) i spend a giant lump sum on an investment that will give me indefinite returns….. Its why i built my computer…. So instead of my log board frying(thx apple) I can just swap out whatever component malfunctions Again, not your typical consumer…… But either way there’s alternatives out there
