During Extreme Rules 2022, I stayed up until 5am to go absolutely nuts and wake everyone in the house up at his return. He is my favourite wrestler of all time and that will never change. He redefined how to tell a story in wrestling. His mind was unlike any other. RIP Windham, you will forever be missed ❤

I was at the Summerslam when the Fiend debuted, and it was an experience I would never forget. This is doubly true now. He inspired me for his creativity and his uniqueness. The amount of repackages he went through that always led to the wrestling buzz of the month was a testament to his mind and determination. Love always

The Fiend Bray Wyatt was one of the best character WWE ever had, great entrance, catchy and fitting music, unique durability and skillful improvement of old wrestle moves. 36 years is about half a life in practice, it's so sad how misfortune befalls such talented people like Bray. I was hyped and every week since he disappeared before wrestle mania I felt something was wrong but I kept my fingers crossed that I would see him and burst out laughing like he came back from the pandemic with Uncle Howdy. However, here we are. I'm so sorry, I can't imagine the suffering the family, loved ones and all loyal fans must go through. R.I.P. Bray :( You never deserved this.

I was just at work when I got the news. Very little things shake me up but this I’m going to say did. Bray was in an era where very little in wrestling excited me anymore. Gimmicks were poor, Wrestlers were eh, and the storylines were by the numbers. But Bray had that energy about him that I could only associate with the big guys like Kane or the Undertaker. The gimmick was great but what really made it work was the man behind it all, Bray himself. He went from Husky Harris to Wyatt excellently, (even if the crowd didn’t by into it at first) And it was great seeing him continue too thrive, it’s just a damn shame they fucked up his Fiend run.
I’m still struggling to comprehend that he’s gone. For sure this is a very sad time in wrestling, first we loose Terry Funk who I was sad when I heard died but I knew it was coming and now we lost Bray to soon, and I never thought it would happen.
    R.I.P.

People actually suffer with mental illness, and I find faking one because you're not getting your own way is FAR more disrespectful to FAR more people than I'm being.

That’s awesome. I’m glad you pulled the nose up. Bray’s promo work was always spooky, supernatural, but had a very real undercurrent of mental health issues buried in their. They were there back in the Wyatt Family days, but really front and center in his last performances. Whether he was in/ had been in great emotional pain or not, he certainly made you think he was experiencing inner turmoil, to the point where so many (myself included, as someone who has battled depression and PTSD) wondered what was real and what was kayfabe. He blurred those lines on a different level, and I wish we got more of it. That said, if his work saved lives (and you’re not the first fan I’ve heard from with a similar story), connecting with people in a dark place in that way… that’s pretty damn special.
