Where were the drummers like you, when we had bands in high school! You play better than most 30 year old drummers I know. Keep it up, and amazing work.
I can't find anything wrong with it. Even Neil didn't play it the same in every show. It is a tough piece to cover correctly, and I think you nailed it.
Wow!!! It's so good!!! Just PERFECT!!!I like this album of Rush too and i did not expect someone to play a Drum cover like this!!! ;-) I start to do Drum cover too with my TD25 and i know it is hard to make the record in just one take without errors... You're great Tony!!! ;-)
Damn....I had to look twice to make sure that I wasn't listening to Neil Peart (RIP)...who was the best drummer on the planet IMO. I'd love to see you do some of Jeff Porcaro's (RIP) work...and Bernard Purdie's off of Steely Dan's Aja album. Nice job on this one.
+Jack Plant Please refer to the video description for any questions about my equipment. I play a Roland TD-4SX V-Drum kit and Roland SPD-S Sampling Percussion Pad. Thanks for asking! :)
Chaotic Logic Good question. Yes, they do. If you hit the center of the ride cymbal with enough force it triggers a bell sound. You can adjust the sensitivity of the cymbal depending on how easily you want the bell to trigger. Thanks! :)
Not be that guy but I’m pretty sure you played this at a slower tempo and then sped it up. Just a couple of movements here and there seemed sped up a bit but idk I’m probably wrong. Still impressive either way.
This is very good, but you'll never become anything drumming/ mimicking another's style. Steal from Peart, Bonham, Rich, Pocaro and so on and create your own unique style. Everyone mention stole from someone else and made it their own style...that's what made them great. Don't fall into the Neil Peart trap. You're a good drummer, become your own.
Bad ass old school tune love RuSH Great drumming too Tony
This increased my appreciation for Neil Peart's drumming.

Can you do the entirely song of 2112?
Damn....I had to look twice to make sure that I wasn't listening to Neil Peart (RIP)...who was the best drummer on the planet IMO. I'd love to see you do some of Jeff Porcaro's (RIP) work...and Bernard Purdie's off of Steely Dan's Aja album. Nice job on this one.
I must have you in my band
That was excellent! What drum set do you use?
+Jack Plant Please refer to the video description for any questions about my equipment. I play a Roland TD-4SX V-Drum kit and Roland SPD-S Sampling Percussion Pad. Thanks for asking! :)
👊💥
If I may ask where did you get the drumless track?? I've looked and can't find any.
You killed it though dude
It's perfect
+MuffinGizmo I'm actually not playing to a drumless track; this is the original, unedited Rush recording that I'm playing to. Thanks for watching! :)
Bad Ass!
EXCELLENT !
And you're doing it YOUR-FK'ING-SELF !
This is what can happen when kids stay off their I-Pods...!
Who needs to go the gym just play a rush song on drums
2:32 winning
Christian Spectral Ha, yeah, that fill is great. Neil's fills are ingenuous.
what did you use to record?
Do the cymbals actually have a bell trigger?
Chaotic Logic Good question. Yes, they do. If you hit the center of the ride cymbal with enough force it triggers a bell sound. You can adjust the sensitivity of the cymbal depending on how easily you want the bell to trigger. Thanks! :)
That's pretty awesome.
Actually, this isn't' a drumless track, dude. The song I'm playing to is just the original Rush version with the drums included in the track :)
Not be that guy but I’m pretty sure you played this at a slower tempo and then sped it up. Just a couple of movements here and there seemed sped up a bit but idk I’m probably wrong. Still impressive either way.
these songs are 1979 thru 88
ilook like a kid im 54 now
nice drumming but that ride.... godz... it has no body to it.
delta empire and lick library and jun626 for zepplin guitar and edagr weisnfels for organ and keyboardplayer
rush drum cover sterling fuentas is me also long hair paramount seattle theater 1991or so
It almost looks like they sped it up.....
Owen Howard Nothing is sped up. Both the music and the video are played back at the exact same speed as they were recorded.
Nope, 2112 has fucking insane drumming dude.
Grande!!!!bravissimo....continua così
Great Job!
