    Who are Trist and Kez
We’re Trist and Kez, a couple in their 40’s. We’ve sold everything for a life on the road. Come and join us as we show you our Van life UK Travel Series. We show the best spots for van camping, hiking and exploring, from the countryside to the coastline of our home island.
👫🐶 Our aim as (another) van life couple (and our dog and cat) is to document each UK road trip we take, sharing tips and tricks for van camping in the UK. In summary, we want everyone to be able to access the magic that van life UK opens to us all. Adventures in the great outdoors. We also appreciate that travelling in a van with a dog isn't always the easiest, therefore everywhere we share is 100% dog-friendly.

The A82 has to be one of _the_ best drives in the UK. Whoever gets to be a bus driver on the Glasgow to Inverness route has to have the best job satisfaction ever! 😂

We said the same thing as well 🤣. It just an incredible road to drive. I imagine having a motorbike is insanely fun on the right day.

There’s so many aren’t there. We haven’t done either of the two you mentioned. So they are on our list. We still haven’t done the three loch forest drive either. More reasons to head back to Scotland.
      Love cairngorms so much!
As one road, we were so impressed with the A82 through Glencoe. I think it’s how impressed we were the first time we saw it. Then there’s Glen Etive😍. There jutting so much to see, it’s insane 😎🤙🏽

Definitely agree GlenCoe is a must see in Scotland, my first time there was 2013 on a visit back to my country of birth from Australia.
It was what you might call a typical Scottish day, grey and low hanging clouds over the Three sisters, it was a strangely eerie feeling place, I guess maybe because of the history, but such spectacular scenery, my last trip in 2023 I stayed at the red squirrel for a couple of days, really nice place to stay surrounded by great views.
    👍👍👍👍👍

It really is isn’t it. We are blown away every time we’re here. Each corner you turn you get a different view.
Plus watching everyone else here marvel at the sights shows how amazing this place is.
We’ve been around the area for a bit recently and the weather is never the asame 🤣. Dare is say it, we’ve had some of the best blue sky days in all our travels here.
There’s so much history here and we keep learning more and more from everyone we speak to.
Glad you liked the video and thanks for dropping us a comment 🙏. We have more glencoe footage in our recent video and on instagram. Have an awesome Saturday 😎🤙🏽

That’s awesome to hear you’ve found some new spots 😎. There’s so much to explore along that stretch of road. We didn’t even cover the classic white cottages, devils staircase or hidden valley. But we still have some of those to explore ourselves 😀.
      Happy travels 🤙🏽

      @@TristandKez
      Devils Staircase from Altnafeadh.
Lost Valley from 3 sisters car park .
Elliots Teardrop(waterfall above cottage at Loch Achtriochtan).
Grey Mares Tail waterfall (Kinlochleven) ..
all reasonabale walks with stunning views
and probably 1 of the most photographed locations of the Buachaille is the falls of the Coupall river ..when you turn into Glen Etive the car park is the 1st set of trees on left hand side at a small bridge
all great locations for views and great for your dog ..if you want a better view of the 3 sisters park 100 yds before the top car park on opposite side of the road and just walk up the path for 15-20 mins (path heading up Am Bodach-Aonach Eagach)

@@TristandKez the Isle of Lewis/Harris is a must ..we spent a week in the summer there in our camper ..
Mangersta Bothy is part of the Linda Norgrove foundation ..its built into a cliff face ..bookings are advised in advance and they appretiate a donation to their foundation..
Garry Beach is just north of Stornoway(as far as you can go on the road ) ,great for the camper with a 2 min walk onto a beach that would be mistaken for the Maldives ..Luskentyre beach is stunning but parking can be a problem in season ..Knip beach is great for the camper also ..we havent even scratched the surface of the Isle but will be bk over soon ..hope this helps anyone
