Now take a big v-twin ,make some billet aluminum jugs and cut your favor port pattern into them, use a rotary exhaust valves made out of stainless for a uniflow 2 stroke conversion. here is a Honda gx converted to 2 stroke:th-cam.com/video/RWO-QvjZqkQ/w-d-xo.html, i want to try this on a 1600 v-twin.
I've had one with a turbo on it for 8 years. 20k miles on it turboed. Fukr is bullet proof. Not one issue in 8 years. They have very strong stock internals.
Technically, you *can't* shift without cutting the gas on any bike unless you're at very low load. This bike is equipped with a "quick shifter" setup which senses pressure on the shift lever and automatically cuts *spark* in order to de-load the transmission and allow a clutchless shift with the throttle open.
It’s my next project, though in my country it’s hard to get the turbo kit and the rest of the parts to get to stage 3- or 4 Nevertheless, I really would love to know more details brother , what’s the best number and what’s the torque. Drive safe and keep in mind “drive it like you steal it.
Hi Jay, I only had to dyno tune this bike so never got a before dyno run on it naturally aspirated. A V- Rod of the same year on my dyno would typically make between 115hp to 118hp at the wheel.
Ridden with a few mates with turbo vrods . There not crazy loud . Like , there loud enough for people to still turn heads but your not going to go deaf with a turbo vrod
I bet your gixer is fucking fire 🔥🔥🔥 As for the heavy as rock thing that they call it motorcycle, i suggest to spray paint in blue and toss is in the sea... Supersport for life 💕💕💕
Hi Adam, im not sure where you got your info but on my dyno the figures stated below are the results we got from a Stock VRod with a Vance and Hinds pipe with 98 octane fuel. Both bikes were tested on the same dyno.
I've had a scratch built t3 turbo set up on an 03 vrod for 10 years. Engine is bone stock down to injectors just a VPR and reference line from compressor side to the regulator on a modified task tune. Put down 156rwhp on 9psi on 93 octane. 22k miles later and beating the piss out of it still runs like a swiss watch. Not one issue ever. People like to hate on the vrod and it's one of the most reliable engines made. Destroys 600 sport bikes on a freeway pull hangs right with most liter bikes. Love it. At cruise and idle drives like a stock bike. Also have a few other bikes. But the vrod gets the most attention. Like to run a destroyer crank (1/4" stroker) and 9to1 pistons soon crank the boost to 14psi. Should b around 180 to the wheel.
Hi Jonathan, i was only involved in Dyno tuning this bike and don't have any details as to the turbo sizing. Trask is the brand of turbo kit that has been fitted to this bike, it may be best contacting them.
A stock Yamaha VMAX putting down 190 horsepower, and is literally half the price of that bike. And twice as reliable. Too bad the bike was really only popular overseas. As much as Americans love horsepower.
Eidrian111 , yea, 50 hp is absolute shit for a turbo setup, main reason is probably the idiotic intercooler placement, boostisgood makes a turbo setup that puts down 165whp on a stock 1130 vrod on 5psi
Never thought I'd want a Harley so bad in my life
I came when the flames shot out the pipes
KingHarvickTV we all did.
AndrewRodden 01:05
hahaha!!! this is the best comment I have ever seen!! We all really did though!
LMFAO!!
Flickers
That rev limiter was the best part. That and the flame. Never thought a Harley would sound so good XD

If I switch to cruisers, this will be the bike I get. At only 37, supersports are starting to hurt.
phatrides222000 I already switched at 23 I love my night rod
Exactly why im here..after seeing this though I don't think there's any hope.
I've had one with a turbo on it for 8 years. 20k miles on it turboed. Fukr is bullet proof. Not one issue in 8 years. They have very strong stock internals.
Look into getting a Triumph Rocket 3. Still a cruiser but makes borderline liter bike amounts of power.
this bike sounds monstrous
badass fucking flame....holy that was awesome.
V Rod‘s with the best bike Harley ever did I need to start making them again at 1400 cc And I would dominate the market
big flame
SOUNDS LIKE DOO DOO ON A STICK, PLUS YOU LIT MY PIPE ON FIRE BOZO
Sounds fair enough to get used out of a dyno or private boot camp ...
Ride safe
wow so that thing picked up roughly 50hp.....very nice👍👍👍
That's possible! Stock means stock! Vance and Hines plus 98 octane fuel will do the trick! Mine was tested from the factory on 91 octane! 107 RWHP
I've always loved dirtbikes, but this beauty is a must-have 🤩 from Czech Republic with love 🙋♂️
sounds like it can't rev high enough for the turbo's to kick in
Meu Deus !!!!
hi...how tall are you?
is it okay to shift a v rod clutchless and without cutting off the gas?
Yes its designed that way
Yes we are using a quick shifter setup on this bike.

what would it be without the turbo. that way we can see the true gains with the turbo..

I’d like to turbo my v Rod. How loud are they? I don’t like loud...the days of drag pipes are over for me.
Ridden with a few mates with turbo vrods . There not crazy loud . Like , there loud enough for people to still turn heads but your not going to go deaf with a turbo vrod
Big motor, fuck all power
considering the stroke, relatively low rpm limit for an OHC vtwin..pretty good power actually
stock motor at 7 psi clearly. barely even heard the turbo kick in. needs atleast 14 psi for the turbo to be any use which would land you around 200hp
More then that mate
14psi is 200bhp.
Wow, it sounds exactly like yamaha R1.
My crush
What's it weigh? My liter gixer that would be a 1000cc, is at 184.91hp @ 423.3 lbs. No flames though lol
I bet your gixer is fucking fire 🔥🔥🔥 As for the heavy as rock thing that they call it motorcycle, i suggest to spray paint in blue and toss is in the sea... Supersport for life 💕💕💕
Marshmallows anyone?
da guy dj = turbo harley !!! da song = Harley V
Are V-ROD frames still available?
❤️
Hard
❤️🔥
Hp?
1:33
What quickshifter is this?
It sounds like a Nascar
how much for instillation and parts?
Which quick shift kit are you guys using on the V-Rod
The info is incorrect!!! 2014 VRod muscle on 91 octane, stock , shows only 107-109 RWHP
Hi Adam, im not sure where you got your info but on my dyno the figures stated below are the results we got from a Stock VRod with a Vance and Hinds pipe with 98 octane fuel. Both bikes were tested on the same dyno.
Pro Twin Australia see
No info ? Shit
such beauty flame
Dear god i can only imagine the bikes that could walk easily.

🤘👍dude fuckin awesome
Sick
what turbo kit is it?
looks like a trask turbo
How big is the turbo
G😀
the sound LOOOOOVEEE
No veneno!
Wow. What exhaust?
Looks for me like a "BSL Firestarter".
Answer me!!

Pouca entrada de ar no motor, a gasolina não consegue queimar totalmente, indo para o escape da moto, queimando fodendo ele.
What exhaust kit is on that?
Cory Masterson probably custom downpipe
That engine will be toast
A stock Yamaha VMAX putting down 190 horsepower, and is literally half the price of that bike. And twice as reliable. Too bad the bike was really only popular overseas. As much as Americans love horsepower.
Your numbers are wrong
Here in the USA a 2nd gen vmax is putting down just under 200 horsepower look it up
The stock V-Rod is reliable. Stock with 125hp about the same price as that Yamaha.
Not very impressive for turbo at all !!!
Mike Foucart you fucking dumb? It picked almost 50 hp, douche.
Eidrian111 , yea, 50 hp is absolute shit for a turbo setup, main reason is probably the idiotic intercooler placement, boostisgood makes a turbo setup that puts down 165whp on a stock 1130 vrod on 5psi
it isn't shit because it managed to extract 50hp in a POS Harley engine. I rest my case.
It can pick 50hp without turbo, just by using the destoyer kit and a nice exhaust.
actually the engine was designed and tested by porsche
