Yeah, I was thinking the same thing. Kenji is a very good player and often thinks of nuanced things, but I think he overthought this particular situation and made a suboptimal block because of that possibly costing him the game.

@1:04:20 why not put the fear on the doll and everything else on the survivor? You kill the survivor while still only losing the 2/2s and then the fear trades with the doll. Your blocks left the doll. 🤔

Do we really need ETB AND attack triggers? It feels awful to use removal on creatures that have already gotten value but you are also forced to or you just lose.

Guys Question here. In P1P3 Why are we not taking or thinking atleast, to take the Vanish from Sight (
Target nonland permanent's owner puts it on the top or bottom of their library. Surveil 1)? Isnt a card that grinds? Or it doesnt do much? I understand that in a U/W ench/deck will be more usefull. Because you want to keep the tempo and keep pressuring. But why not in our Dimir deck it s not right?
Limited is definately the way to go in this game. Here is my standard experience : 1) opponent has perfect hand in rush deck , i have avg hand … dead by turn 3 😅 zero counterplay Or. 2) opponent does not draw perfect hand and surrenders turn 1 (literally). Talk about an interactive game bro. Standard is way too fast to the point where games are crap. If mtg thinks im gonna spend any money on this shit just to lose or win by turn 2 …. Chess, LoL, RTS are better games. Reminds me of the necropotence deck times with that one guy fixing the cards to get the godhand every time.
10:17 -- Fear of Lost Teeth - over third leech - fr sure.. It's an enchantment - it's a 1 drop - it can trade with a 2 toughness creature if the opponent allows that.. Could be a good ninjutsu fodder also.. And it looks like the set does not have that many 1 drops.. A single one drop in opening hand if you don't have a tap land is a 0 drop as you could not do anything else with the one mana - and the rooms are kind of a mana sinks so net mana efficiency is going to matter.

Defiant Survivor is not as dominating as you make him out to be. 3 Murders is too many murders.

I really wanna know what happens if you flip kaito during your turn. It's a planeswalker with 0 loyalty yes but it's also a creature with positive toughness and no damages on it so which rule is applied ?
Kaito is only a creature if it has a loyalty counter on it. First line of text on the card.
