Never in my life would I have listened to this but I discovered...about a month or two ago...Alexander's immense talent playing the Rach 2 and I have been checking out his videos ever since. I am loving all this new music I never heard before! What a blessing, and this performance is no exception...by Matsuev AND Malofeev.
This then kid was having a blast. Methinks he's up for any challenge you present to him. Bring it on and if I have to work myself to the outer limits, then let's have at it. And for sure, I have to give it Mr. Matsuev for taking him on. My respect for them both!! Enjoyed your performances immensely!!!!!!

I listened to Alexander playing this piece in the two piano version and here he is playing the OTHER part in the orchestral version (which doesnt work in my opinion). I have NEVER seen two pianists playing exactly the same notes at a concert before. There really is NOTHING that this amazing pianist cannot do at the piano. I wait almost with baited breath for when he uploads his Islamey.

@@ahaahahha Не соглашусь. Я сам играю, так что могу поспорить. Чем ты талантливее, тем легче тебе дается произведение. Также надо чувствовать, что и как ты играешь, а это не у всех получается. Скорость рук тоже важна. Конечно, скорость можно развить, но дело в том, что кто-то этого достигает за 2-8 лет, а кто-то всего год. Талант это не главное. Но для такого уровня он играет важную роль.
Playing with a master and at only 13 and in perfect synchronization. Alexander wasn't certainly not overawed by Dennis and I'm sure he has overtaken him now. An absolute genius.
