@alexanderpolguldesign It's not really a fair graphical comparison when you're not comparing it to how the game actually looks. An emulator can make anything look better. You have NES emulators today where you can just outright replace the graphics with 32-bit color-range pixel art.

I have to disagree with that statement. There are many small details being slightly different between TK7 Outfits in TK8 and the priginal ones in TK7. I actually think they remade them for Unreal Engine 5
Ground up doesn’t mean they have to start from scratch. They have the blueprints so they can just re-design T7 outfits to match the sizes and then create the T8 outfits. I think they did re-design the base face, body, and skin from scratch though.
This comparison favors TK8 because its chosen stage with moderate lighting highlights the reflections of the characters and their costumes. TK7 chose a stage that was too "sunny" and most of the light suits look bad on them because they tend to saturate the light colors, but since Devil Jin's torso is bare ( 01:00 ) , his dark skin compensates and he looks very good, in fact I came to think which was from TK8. If TK7 had used "Mishima Dojo" or "Precipice of Fate", the characters and their outfits would look better.

I really miss the motion blur effect from T6 and TTT2. It made the games look unbelievably smooth in motion, and T7 and T8 look kinda choppy in comparison. A definite downgrade for sure, even if the actual models are much better looking. Strangely, T7 on PC actually did give you the option of turning on motion blur, provided your PC could handle it without having to turn the resolution down (which was the main issue with motion blur on T6 and TTT2). But it seems that even the PC version of T8 doesn't have a motion blur option, which is a shame. I do realize that the super hardcore tournament Tekken players generally dislike motion blur because it makes it harder to count frames and such, but it was nice in a more casual setting. They could have at least gave us the option to toggle it on or off like the older games.
You can turn on the motion blur in Tekken 8 on PC. Go to options > screen settings > motion blur settings. My main complaint with Tekken 8 is that there is no self-shadowing on the character models during gameplay. Its only turned on during the intro/outro animations.

It's LOOKS more colorful because T7 doesn't have dynamic lighting(Tekken 8 level of) so model shines "best" parts of its outfit no matter what stage you choose. Details, idk. His T7 coat looks like trash bag. And some stuff like T8 Yoshi's tail doesn't go under the floor in his T7 costume like it did in T7.
You're blind as fuck. Tekken 7 is an eyesore and playing long enough, the game looks like uncanny valley, glossy clothing, and oiled up character's.
Tekken 8 took advantage of the graphical jump, so much so that Tekken 7 looks outdated in comparison to Tekken 8
As soon as the camera gets close to any tekken 7 character’s face you quickly realise how ugly the game is
Estás bromeando verdad 😂
