Happy New Year David. I grilled your recipe last night and it was wonderful! Grilled it outside in 10 degrees-it was worth it! Came out delicious! Everyone loved it. Had it with rosemary roasted red potatoes and mixed vegetables side dish. Highly recommend it. Thanks for sharing your recipe.
This recipe was great! I used Dales (marinade no longer than 10min), and McCormick's Steak Rub and it came out awesome. Thanks for the video recipe! :-)
I am re visiting your video as I have filleted my back straps and marinated it over night. I am now about to prepare it for supper. Just wanted a refresher view. And to let you know your idea is being used and probably enjoyed. chow.
Holy crap, this tastes awesome! I had to take a break from chewing to post this comment and show my appreciation. I never thought to put cream cheese inside. Thanks!
Ok, I tried your recipe and the whole family loved it. I made an error though. I baked the jalapeno before using as I was worried about making the rolls too spicy but Next time I will use them raw. pre baking made them too mild. We made some with red bell peppers as well. Verdict: definitely a do again.
Can you list out the recipe? I saw how it was made just want to know the seasoning you used and how the marinade is spelled. Please let me know, I'm wanting to make these back straps for 8 people.
Sorry just saw your message...want to cook it until its left with just a little pink inside..the night I made the video was very cold and I left it on the grill a little too long..have no time length to tell you..just depends on how hot your grill is ...

How long did you have yours on the grill approximately? I'm going to try this tomorrow. It looks fantastic!
I haven't tried it yet but I have 2 deer hanging. Boy-Oh-Boy this recipe idea excites me. I'm giddy with anticipation. Mmm Mmm.
this is on the menu for tonight
Thanks for the tip will try. Have you been schooled on cross contamination sir?

Why do he sound like he is a farmer
if you have to do all that to deer meat, you don't like deer meat
It's called a butterfly filet....
I think for the time is going to take the bacon to burn, your jalapeños in the middle won't even get cooked
grill on indirect heat
Great job!........take ya hat off inside.
OMG
