Swann NVR Not loading / Boot loop / faulty Hard drive HDD

We had lights on our box, but hard drive not spinning. Had it to bits, checked the drive with a SATA cable on laptop and it spun.
Ended up watching your video, and swapped the power supply cables between the cameras and the box and it booted up again. Thank you for the info.

I just did this. My system in Jamaica stopped working. Couldn't figure it out . After reading your post , I swapped the powe supply and that did it

It's not worked for me it shows the cameras on the screen but it says Disk lost

Just replaced the HDD and it works again now.

I tried opening the unit and unplugged the HDD but it is still not loading and doing the boot loop. It's a SWANN HDR8-8200 HD-SDI DVR

a simple diode goes short on hard drive ,, replace it and ur drive will work again common on seagate hdds, ifact quite alot of drives, as it boots up, it sends 5v and 12v to hdd, and 12v rail to drive goes short, if u just unplug power cable unit will boot,
