Gonna have to disagree with the last segment. Fantano isn’t really “slandering” him as much as he’s just making fun of him and criticizing him for his past. If Ronnie’s going to make music about “cancel culture” he should be more than ready to accept that the other side will attack him as well. The same ones harkening for free speech are the same people who will try to shut you down for exercising the same.
Him being self aware is not a shield for him to still act like an idiot.
I think Fantano's pushed in pretty far with what he's said about Ronnie, but whether there could actually be a case..eh, not sure. I do agree that he's gotta to be able to take people shit talking him online, but in the same way I think it's fair for him to speak back.

Even though I, uh, still don't like the guy, I gotta' say: it is refreshing seeing a video standing up for Ronnie after countless ones crapping on him... HOWEVER, to me, he's still a d-bag who likes to run his mouth on social media. Occasionally, he'll say something I will agree with (the whole laptop/backing tracks thing, which BTW, that whole beef he had with Eddie Trunk and Sebastian Bach over that was freaking funny), but I like FIR's recent *music* more than *Ronnie* himself.
I've never heard this guys music, but I'm kind of a fan now.

Hated Ronnie at first from what I honestly heard and I just heard bad things about him. Then my wife told me that when falling in reverse is her favorite band I bought tickets to Nashville TN for Rockzilla tour a couple years ago and now I think Ronnie has earned the metal heads respect for me personally I now know everything about what he's done in the past and I don't see anything wrong about him he's moved on so we should to! Falling in reverse has me respect and Ronnie is dating Paige so ya there's that! Where's my wrestling fans out there?

I feel like with ronnie he's just trying to get engagement. He turns often valid criticisms into stupid drama, at this point he feels like a lulcow. I mean, I've seen a LOT of people with decent evidence against him regarding sexual assault (the murder stuff is ridiculous) but he just turns is into crazy drama stuff, if he responded to the claims with more serious evididence the rumours probably wouldn't have gotten this far.

One. If there's decent evidence, then why did nothing ever come of it. In fact he WON his defamation case. I don't think you understand how insanely rare and hard that is.
Two. Evidence doesn't mean proof. All "Evidence" means is information that leads to a conclusion. The conclusion doesn't have to be correct, and the evidence doesn't need to be true. So saying you've seen "evidence" really doesn't actually mean anything in the grand scheme of the law, or how language works...

I just don't like him because he's simply unlikable. Throwing out immature, ill-informed talking points as if he's dropping truth bombs, punching down on literal children who don't like his music/antics, calling people slurs and harassing them for daring to put he/him in their bios and voice their disapproval. It all reeks of insecurity and a man child attention seeker attitude. His music isn't even good enough to look past it. At best FIR is generic metalcore and at worst they made Fashionably Late.
I totally agree with most of your comment. Ronnie's online presence can be really obnoxious at times, but calling his music "generic metalcore" is not something I would expect anyone to say. Maybe you haven't listened to his more recent tracks? Because - love them or hate them - most of his new releases are quite far from what my understanding of "generic" and "metalcore" are...

False accusations in the scene being treated as fact has been an issue for a while, especially as you mentioned on Reddit like in the Deathcore and metalcore sub reddits. Hes not wrong about the scene having become lame either, a black metal band had to apologize a month ago because the crowd who bought tickets found them offensive. That is what is metal, hardcore, punk, and deathcore culture is in 2024 wtf its like the PMC trials in the 80s except this is fans making bands self censor
