- You asked and we answered! In this week's episode, we're doing a Q&A. We discuss knowing I was ready for kids, what changed, and what we're most excited about in this new phase. We also share our process for choosing what city to live in - including how we landed on Austin and the latest on our house. I touch on dealing with prepartum depression, which I'll explore more deeply in a later episode. This is ‘what's next’ for us-comment down below with what you want to hear more of! 👇👇

I have two babies! My first- I was SO depressed. Like sick time my stomach daily with sadness. Could not understand why. Experienced ZERO postpartum depression, thank God because how emotional I was in pregnancy made me so scared for the postpartum period. Just telling you this so you don't fear postpartum! My second baby, had no depression during or after pregnancy. So also don't let this experience deter you from more kids!
When I had my first baby, I adopted the “she’ll nap anywhere” mentality and was always out and about. I noticed she was cranky and restless and sort of untethered. So I put her on a schedule where she napped at home in her crib and she was a different kid. She was happier and calm and enjoyed the slower pace of life. Same with my son. Hopefully, your baby girl likes stimulation more than my homebodies. 😅.
Love yall. Let’s get some family car reviews soon!
Zophran is your friend! Ask about it!
Welcome to Texas! ⭐
I agree. The "bless you" after a sneeze feels unnecessary. I will say "excuse me" when I sneeze to deter the bless yous, but they always seem to come regardless.
Happy to be here
Yall are so happy in this one :) Harrison is getting comfy, it’s adorable

People say bless you because when you sneeze, your soul leaves your body for a moment and the blessing keeps the devil out! #themoreyouknow

Be excited for the birth of your child but please prepare yourself for all the rough times that all the baby/pregnancy books never mention. If you end up with a colicky baby, hire an exorcist.
