Just trying to reach out to anyone watching this who is struggling with infertility. Here’s my testimony. After 4 years of trying , grieving every month and being hopeful every month . I finally prayed that God just take the pain away , and that he shows me a path that I meant to follow . I felt instant relief and went about my days . The following week a person I didn’t know came into my shop when it was empty and said “ God had told me to come I’m here and say you’re going to have a baby by Christmas “( this was in early October ). This was triggering because I’d just come to terms with my situation . I told my husband about that person coming in and we both laughed it off . 4 weeks later around November I was pregnant. I now have a beautiful 10 month old baby ✨ surrendering to Gods plan , whatever it is , is the way x
I tried for 15 years. No intervention. Then I heard go off gluten and lose weight. I did this and within 3 months I was pregnant. It was a huge shock but so amazing. Tomorrow that baby boy turns 14 can't believe the years flew by so fast.
This was true for me also! We have been trying forever to get pregnant. Finally got pregnant and it was my first miscarriage ever. I decided to get off, gluten and get some pounds off. I lost 35 pounds and got pregnant with twins!

It’s probably the enriched flour that contains folic acid. The synthetic form of folate (folic acid) is actually highly toxic to anyone with the MTHFR gene mutation. Even if you don’t have the mutation, processed grains are major endocrine disruptors and affect fertility. I’m 8 weeks pregnant and gluten free. I take the methylated forms of B12 and folate so I metabolize it properly :)
A friend did IVF for 4 years (in her 30s), gave up after those 4 years, one year later, she became pregnant naturally… she then wanted to see if she could get pregnant again naturally 2 years after Baby #1, but it doesn’t happen. they knew they didn’t wanted to do IVF again, so again they “gave up”, again one year later after “giving up”, she became pregnant. However this time, she went to see a naturopath to work on her hormones, which was “off”, she needed only to work on her hormones within couple of supplements and boom, she became pregnant. Another story - a friend had tried to get pregnant for 10 years, eventually her and her hubby came to accept it and move on with life….10 years later, in her late 40s, she gets pregnant with her first child! They had been married 20 years before they were blessed with this little miracle…. I cried so much joy for her, they wanted children so badly but never wanted to intervene with medical things.
I have shared my story here before. Long story short, I did IVF before I gave my life to Christ. My first pregnancy, the day I found out a girl, I found out she would die. She was missing most of her brain and had the most severe case of Down's they have seen. Meaning, every single organ in her body was not normal. She was not compatible with life. I KNOW it was due to IVF. Even as I was going thru the motions to get pregnant with IVF, I had my doubts if I was supposed to do this. And then when this happened my baby girl, I knew. I was paying the consequences of my sin. I have given that to Christ, but it doesn't take the hurt away. **EDIT; I never said I was being punished for the sin. Had I chose to not play God, my daughter would not have suffered. ALSO, just because you disagree w/me, does not give you the right to be a complete jerk. You have no idea the pain and suffering that my daughter and myself went through. And EVEN IF I am wrong, I am glad now that I know the truth of Christ and that it's IMMORAL to create children in a petri dish.

Allie please please continue to talk about this no matter what pushback you get. I almost got talked into doing ivf because of my age and I couldn’t find any Christian resources to help me decide but thankfully the Lord revealed to me that this was a process and decisions to make that I could not live with. We walked away and I’m now 41 and 21 weeks pregnant with my third baby, all naturally conceived thanks to addressing root causes through diet supplementation and acupuncture. I am so glad you are speaking up about this.
We tried for twelve years. A lot of people asked me why we didn’t just do IVF during that time. There was something about it that bothered me. I didn’t want to end up creating a bunch of frozen embryos, for one thing, and then have to decide what to do with those little lives. I also didn’t want to risk the possibility of getting pregnant with higher order multiples and going though that high risk pregnancy and delivery, and also be pressured to “reduce” some of them. Glory to God, we finally conceived spontaneously and then went on to have two more, the last born when I was 42 and my husband was 50, respectively.

Older parents make better parents they are wiser, make better decisions, have a more stable life and can give a child a better life financially, etc. Even the show Night line made show about what I'm saying about older parents. This is also why certain people in other countries wait till late in life to have a child. Before our society became what it is women were having their last child into their 40s. And of course the man was usually older so that was not a strange thing.
My husband and I are in year 4 of recurrent miscarriages. 3 so far. We both believe that IVF is not an option for us. We are leaving it all up to the will of God as we start the education process of foster/adoption.
@emilydonleycpa I was told I have a low egg reserve. I'm 41 and my amh level is 0.08. We did 7 rounds of letrozole. I'm not sure that progesterone was offered as an option.
Thank you for having this conversation! I’m a triplet who was born through IVF, and I have been asking God what He thinks about it. God can obviously use a flawed system, and I’m so grateful I’m here- but I have a bit of survivors’ guilt and I’m grieved to hear some of the details of this process. I definitely had a lot more risk factors in my life that contributed to my own health issues, and this conversation answers a lot of questions I’ve had. What she said about doctors encouraging parents to reduce a triplet pregnancy is real- thank God my parents weren’t willing to do that. I’m also a mom on a Holy Spirit led health journey, and I personally love natural hormone healing methods and fertility awareness. I love that this doctor listened to the Holy Spirit, and what she’s doing now is so needed! ❤
We put our trust in our Savior. I know someone who had five years not having children. She gave her life to Jesus Christ and after a year she was asking God for a child and then a year later she got pregnant with twins. That is because she when through a fasting for four days not eating but in water and in prayers. Remember God saids in his words Matthew 19:26 But Jesus looked at them and said, “With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.” God also said to trust him not trust men. He wants us to depend on him but soly him Psalm 37:4-6 Delight yourself in the Lord, and he will give you the desires of your heart. Commit your way to the Lord; trust in him, and he will act. IVF or not if God wanted You here. But IVF should not be used because of lack of ethical scientific and regulations we have now. Inthink Artificial insemination is different if done among a married couple.
My partner was told he would be very unlikely to have kids. Fast forward we tried for 3 years and nothing I was praying hard for a baby. Then I just gave it up to god and focused on my life and then I got pregnant. Sometimes it's absolutely about healing your body during this time I was getting fitter by exercising and eating healthier was also smoking weed but God was helping to wean off that habit and once I got healthier and stopped the weed. I got pregnant. Praise God I couldn't have done it without him and now I have two kids ❤
I agree. It's very difficult when emotions are involved. Many women would say things like, "how dare you. You don't know what I've gone through " It hurts of course ... but what we need to do in all of it is truly to trust God. Believe his word. We also should ask, when does life begin? And do I have an idol here. Many people have idols without even realizing it.
Thank you for this interview. In my 20s I cursed my fertility for a small blip of time until God convicted me (I was very fertile). He told me that I am crying about on pregnant when there were millions of women crying bc they couldn't get pregnant. My heart breaks for everyone her listening who is trying to get pregnant, but hasn't. Remember God is good always. I pray a blessing for the woman reading this now, that God would open her womb and breath life into her. ❤
It's totally valid for you not to want to be pregnant all the time or to feel overwhelmed by having more children than you wanted. It doesn't have to have anything to do with what other people's struggles are.
A friend of mine is the mother of a precious baby girl that was an extra IVF embryo, frozen for over 20 years. Our baby girls were born 5 days apart. Seeing the two side by side I see how God blessed the world with these two babies, that is true, and yet I can't get over the fact that my friend's beautiful daughter is only here because of human decision. She was a considered a less viable embryo than her brother that was born 20 years ago, and for that reason she almost didnt get a chance to be born. God bless her parents that saved this embryo and waited to find adoptive parents for her. IVF is such a profoundly complicated and morally confusing practice. Thank you for talking about this!
@@LDM805 you don't think so? I'm personally 100% against IVF it but I do believe that all those frozen embryos deserve to be born. However it's not a simple process whatsoever and many people argue that the children already born deserve to be adopted before embryos do.

Dr Marc Sklar has some great videos and a downloadable PDF about how to naturally prepare your body for conception and pregnancy. The gist is to eat a varied whole food diet. Your plate should have colorful foods on it, not man made foods. Fruits, vegetables, lean meats, fish, nuts, fermented foods, etc. Consume less processed/added sugars. Drink more water. Eat/drink from dishes that aren’t made of plastic. Exercise regularly. Mix between cardio and strength training. Sleep 7-9 hours at night. Engage in deep breathing exercises regularly. Get some sunlight regularly in 10-20 minute increments. All of these things are crucial to overall health and hormonal balance. We’ve shifted to using modern day consciences and for some people it’s what is causing fertility issues. Your body NEEDS these things. The best thing you can do is take care of yourself.
I’m beyond child bearing, however after several years of trying to conceive, ultimately I had one live birth, 3x MC’s and 2x ectopic pregnancies. Now after 30 years of marriage I’ve been diagnosed with a severe autoimmune disease a few years ago, but have been sick since my teens. Unbeknownst to us, my health caused the infertility. IVF has so many moral problems, and although I don’t condone it if you’re infertile, it’s much more understandable. My two children are both deaf, and doctors keep recommending IVF to me so that I don’t have any more deaf children. These poor doctors don’t understand how beautiful life is, regardless of handicaps.
Have more kids if you can. Maybe your children will have a passion to share ASL with those of us who can hear. Oh and there's a famous young actress now who is deaf and so is her family! I really love learning sign by the way. And when your kids get annoyed with it remind them that in heaven we'll have perfect sight and hearing! Trust the Lord💓

Thank you for a wonderful and informative interview! My husband and I were married for 10 years and never used BC and never became pregnant. We discussed going to a fertility specialist and decided to try holistic approach first. We gave a 6 month timeline due to my advanced age-35 years old. In 3 months of counting ovulation fertile cycle, we became pregnant. At 8 weeks we found out we were having twins. Our identical twin daughters are 18 now.
This woman has 38 reviews, all 5.0. I am sure that means she cares about each of her patients, and even then, it’s hard to maintain that type of reputation. God bless her and her practice!
My niece and my son born as a result of ivf. Beautiful loved children. I believe God gave us the ability to use science for good. I would never do genetic testing and am pro life. Love to all.
I have a relative who went through IVF years ago, and all the babies implanted. They killed 3 or 4 (can’t remember exactly) and kept twins. They’re not believers and this information was shared so casually (with different terminology, of course) that I was speechless and it broke my heart to hear.
My brother and his wife have a similar story. They harvested and fertilized many eggs, and had 4 separate implantations. They had one frozen embryo “in storage” for years. They finally decided to implant it just to “clear up any loose ends”. That is how casually they speak of it!They finally had a successful birth. Sadly my nephew is mentally unwell. He is severely personality disordered and violent.
It's shockingly unethical for a doctor to transfer more than two embryos! This must have been in the bad old days before the industry decided to control its behaviour in that regard.
I have gone thru IVF and yes, patients are informed, if you do chromosomal testing, that they will not transfer any that have down syndrome or other abnormalities. My husband and I opted not to do chromosomal screening because we did not like that our clinic would not even transfer those embryos. Having gone through IVF, I know more than ever that God is always in control of life, even in IVF.
I had a successful ivf after four goes and i have legitimate complications down there. We did not do the chromosomal on our zygote but we did do one at 12weeks. There is no way I/we would bring a child in with chromosomal abnormalities. Peaching that it's God's will for this child to be born then depending on the godless modern medicine to keep them alive 🤨

Medicine, like all things G-d has inspired man to create, can be abused and used for evil, medicine however is not evil. Eg. Sculpting can be used to create pagan idols, is sculpting evil? Embroidery and sewing can be used to create garments that are lustful, is sewing evil? Guns can be used to procure food and save lives, but guns can also be used to commit atrocities against other humans, are guns evil? Modern medicine saves lives, modern medicine heals some, modern medicine helps us understand our bodies and how to better take care of them...but modern medicine is also used for profit, there is a vested interest in keeping the population sick or making them sick so they go to the doctor to spend more money so that corporate owned healthcare systems can be profitable. Medicine should have never been made for profit. Medical services should have been free to the population.
Honestly I still believe God gave the doctors the knowledge to help. Many babies are walking this earth cause of IVF. I am grateful for that and will not bash it.

I prayed for 5 years. My twin boys are now 25. Did icsi and the only eggs that were fertilized were used. I was blessed to not have to suffer the issue of unused eggs.

I have been against IVF for a while now, but when Dr. Rubal was listing the types of babies that would be discarded and she mentioned Turner Syndrome it hit me harder than anything else has. I have a cousin with Turner Syndrome and you would absolutely never know if she didnt tell you. People only ever think of people with down syndrome when it comes to this, people with an obvious disability, but there are plenty of people who look perfectly normal and function excactly the same as everyone else. Yes, she will probably never be able to have biological children due to the fact that she never naturally went through puberty but God has a plan for her life. It just breaks my heart that people look at babies like her and just dont even give them the opportunity to live.
I understand why Turner syndrome seems like a minor issue but with IVF were talking about women having to risk their lives giving birth. They might never control their bladder again as long as they live. They might have gestational diabetes that becomes lifelong diabetes. Some people dont want to take these massive risks just to end up with a disabled child in the end.
@Otherwise88 well that all can come with normal pregnancy, those symptoms have nothing to do with disabled baby or babies with health problems. And especially not turner syndrome. Turner syndrome is when someone is missing a gender chromosome and doesn't affect their mental capabilities. Also, these women aren't having to do anything, they are paying thousands and thousands of dollars to get to maybe have biological children. IVF is a privilege for people who can afford it at best.
My cousin and her husband after, years of infertility, adopted several embryos that another family had left after IVF. I love telling people about their story because so many don’t even know that adopting embryos that would otherwise be discarded or frozen indefinitely!

I have 2 of my 3 kids from IVF and I should have NEVER done PGT testing. Thankfully we only had 3 day 5 embryos and they were: 1 normal, 1 abnormal, 1 no result. Our doctor would only implant the normal one and that resulted in my son. But then we had this dilemma of wanting to give both the others a chance, knowing the abnormal girl would most likely not result in a pregancy or live birth. I called every single doctor in a 150 mile radius and explained that i wanted to implant both because of religious reasons. After 2 years of praying and getting through this extensive doctor list, the very last doctor in Manhattan (2 hours from me) would do it. I was treated with utmost care and compassion although the IVF process in general just felt so wrong to me. And yes i have been a Christian for a long time but ignored those convictions because of my strong desire for more children. Both embryos were implanted at the same time and i believe our "no result" is now our baby girl. I'm so glad my other daughter was given a real chance at life inside me. But then i also had 3 embryos that made it to day 3 that i feel guilty about. I'm so glad this discussion is taking place. So many embroys are discarded or indefinitely frozen that could in fact result in a healthy baby. It can also be a great blessing but at what cost.
I am so happy to hear this! This is a perfect example of the blessings that come from finding a doctor that will honor a patient’s religious beliefs. It is possible. So far I’ve just frozen eggs, but I worked relentlessly to find a doctor that is open to implanting embryos w no PGT or PGT abnormal with informed consent. Rather than outright ban IVF or liken it to some form of murder, I wish we would have more conversations around stories like yours. You can have a baby via IVF and honor your faith. It’s not one or the other.
@@geotj3044 if you are within a drive of NYC I could give you the name of the doctor we almost used. They were not covered under our insurance but does not believe in PGT testing as the end all be all. We went with another doctor in NYC under our insurance. They don't normally do abnormal but would do it because I was also implanting the other one. It really was so hard to find someone to honor our beliefs, it was definitely a God thing. I wish more doctors would only make 1-3 embryos at a time but I also know that it's very expensive, very hard on the woman undergoing the medication... blessings to you in your fertility journey. I know the pain and longing, the bruises that come from so many blood draws/injections, the uncertainty... God sees it to and if you continue to trust Him He will direct your paths.
@@geotj3044 is it really possible though? In all cases? Yes, some may have successful experiences of going through IVF in an ethical way that honors their faith, but what if those embryos die upon transfer? Can we say that's the same as a natural miscarriage? Those embryos wouldn't even exist if the parents hadn't decided to go through an artificial process. Or what if an IVF pregnancy ends in a premature birth that leaves the child with a permanent condition that lowers their quality of life? Etc, etc, etc. There's so many factors that you just cannot control with IVF, even if you attempt to go about it in the most ethical way possible. No matter what, you are placing yourself and your potential children at unnecessary risk. In my opinion, those of us who place our faith in Christ should instead surrender the idea that we are entitled to have biological children. And look to alternative methods like adoption, fostering, or even adopting embryos. Like Dr. Rubal said there's 1 million embryos in the US that are frozen indefinitely as we speak. There are organizations out there that accept embryos surrendered by their parents that they then make available to infertile couples. I also agree with Dr. Rubal- we should focus our attention on fertility research so more couples can have definitive diagnoses to work with.
But if Allie believes in predetermination, that means everything was decided by God beforehand, so therefore prayers won't affect future outcomes of more doctors. So why pray?

Human beings have free will. God knows what will happen and what we will choose because he is all knowing and beyond time. But at any time, we can allow him to change our hearts (which he wants to do) and choose to walk a different path. We can pray for IVF doctors/ abortion doctors … anyone… to allow God to work on their hearts so that they can change course and choose differently.

PCOS and endometriosis need to be a part of the infertility conversation more regularly. Too many women are undiagnosed and told that their infertility is “unexplained”.
If I had known about these conditions sooner, then my husband and I wouldn’t have waited till I was 31 to start trying to conceive. I experienced 2 miscarriages, long lengths of infertility and we have never been able to have a second child after my son (we chose not to pursue fertility intervention). If I had been more informed about PCOS and endometriosis in my 20s then I may have realized that I fit the majority of the qualifications for both. I could have gotten tested and made wiser family planning decisions. As it is now, I thank God for my beautiful son and I wouldn’t dream of trading him for two hypothetical children, so I have contentment and peace, but I want to spread awareness to others. PCOS and endometriosis need to be discussed more! Women need to be made aware! Like, in their 20s, if not sooner, would be ideal, bc once you reach your 30s then the road is typically a lot harder and there’s less time.
Also, doctors need to start treating PCOS for what it is: a reversible dietary disease. I got a PCOS diagnosis at 14. I had almost no periods. All I was offered was birth control and the promise of fertility treatments in the future. I was under the impression that this was something I was born with and there was nothing I could do about it. That wasn’t true at all. In my mid 20’s, I learned more about the disease and started fasting and eating low carb to treat my insulin resistance. Started getting regular cycles within a few months. 4 years and 2 babies later, I don’t even meet the criteria for a diagnosis anymore.
I prayed to be a mom for years. I felt i was being led to the ivf route. During the ivf process i prayed like Hannah. God took me down this road and blessed me along the way. I have a beautiful daughter. I feel if done appropriately and with Gods will ivf can be a true blessing
Congratulations on your daughter I’m sure you are an amazing mother 💖. I got pregnant young at 20 (not on purpose) and many people wanted me to get an abortion but I prayed and I kept my daughter and she’s the best thing that could have happened to me. It saddens me that so many women who want to be mothers can’t and then young girls will get pregnant and not want the child. Life can be ironic in that way but whatever our struggle we just have to pray to God to guide us through it. My sister just had my niece through IVF though and I’m glad she took that route over struggling for years and then being too old to have the big family she wants
I'm pregnant with my third and don't even go into my doctors appointments until week 20 when we can learn the gender! I had one cervical check during my first pregnancy and never had one again because of how invasive it was. I am healthy, and all my babies have been healthy, so I refuse the cervical checks and go with the flow. The baby will come when it's time. I don't feel the need to track absolutely everything by going to the doctor every week. It blows my mind how doctors want you to limit cold meat, sea food, caffeine, etc while at the same time, pressure you to dope yourself up with vaccines that have incredibly harmful chemicals.
13 years ago I went in for that first appointment and it was so invasive. I had a "non worrisome hemorrhage" on the ultrasound afterwards. I called days later asking if my con't bleeding was normal. I worked in marketing at a pathology lab (my doc was a client) and went into a meeting right after the phone call. Our sales lady held up 2 speculums, one was a broom, one was like a mascara brush. She was saying please tell our clients/docs which one to use because they're tired of their pregnant patients calling in frantic. I was like... "yeah I'm one of them!!" 😮😅
Preach it girl. When I was pregnant with my first I was definitely laid back for the most part. Nurse told me I had to get some type of vaccine, she didn’t even know what it was, and found out later it was a tetanus shot. I didn’t want it in the first place but was lied to and was told I had to so I did. When that occurred I already realized the dangers vaccines have so I truly didn’t want it but felt pressured to do it. I had voiced my opinion on how I didn’t want my daughter vaccinated at all while I was pregnant. Same situation happened again but with the doctor, lied and told me I had to have her vaccinated. Had my husband come in for the next visit for vaccines/check up and she hasn’t had anything ever since. I was very determined to do things differently for the next go around of pregnancy. With my second I was able to have him at home and he wasn’t vaccinated at all, best experience of my life with a midwife by my side instead. If you have/ever have a boy and don’t to the vitamin k shot it’s almost impossible to find a doctor to do circumcision, if parents opt for that. Didn’t do vitamin k shot for my son, a rabbi circumcised him and it was less trauma and time than what you would experience at a hospital. The hospitals estimated time for the procedure is 45 minutes, don’t know why, the rabbi is 5 minutes and then given to mom to breastfeed for comfort. My son is my second and was by far the best experience I had postpartum/vaccine wise and midwife care but the pregnancy was a little rough with him lol.
@rhiannakeys8045 A proper circumcision (according to scripture) is done on the perfect day after birth because it is the day they are less likely to bleed! Gods plan! So sorry you were lied to. These MDs are kicking themselves. (I took an oral vit k and gave to baby according to European protocol showing almost exact same success as the US shot in preventing brain bleeds in baby.)
I have a 10 month old son, he is super healthy and thriving, I never vistsed a doctors office once while pregnant with him, I just knew it was a boy and that he was healthy, I was healthy too through out.
I have seen and heard of many IVF and IUI success stories. I think if it’s Gods will, it will happen whether naturally or not. Also God gave these people wisdom to conduct such things
God allows for humans to exercise free will. Abortions happen, not through God given wisdom but through science that denies God’s intent stemming from human arrogance and pride. Not every scientific advancement is a good thing and stems from God’s wisdom. After watching this video, it’s clear that even a successful IVF cycle yielding a healthy baby, is littered with babies frozen on ice, or dead babies that couldn’t survive outside the womb or were discarded by doctors and/or parents. The IVF process is patently immoral and anyone who respects the sanctity of life should have an issue with it being discarded so easily during its most vulnerable state.
Are you sure the knowledge came from God? The evil side shares a lot of info and technology with man so horrible things can be done. They love mocking God and creation.
I am 62. Ive been married for 40 years. From going though puberty, I never had a regular cycle. Later in my 20s we went to a specialist ( btw he never tested my thyroid, which will become significant later) and they gave me Clomid, resulting in a pregnancy. A couple years later I wanted another child because I didn't want first child to be lonely. We tried Clomid again and we were unsuccessful to get pregnant. My doctor had mentioned IVF but I did not pursue it. Finally, I decided to look into the particulars of IVF. One thing that I gathered was that ( and this was the mid 90's) that they would implant as many embryos as would be created and then selectively abort some to make sure that someone would not have 9 babies in their womb. As a believer, I was not OK with that. But it was clear that, at least in my effort, I was not going to have a baby. I didn't pursue IVF. I became mad at God....I was losing in all directions! The anger at God was palpable! I carried it constantly. When I saw a pregnant woman, especially one who was not married, it made me all the more angry. 6 years went by! During that time, I had a friend who knew a nutritionist. She had me talk to her but I dismissed her observations. She had asked if my mother had thyroid problems. And yes, she had. But the thought of vitamins and thyroid meds...I dont know...I just dismissed it. I still felt sick to my stomach with sorrow. Then one day, I was making my bed....and I felt the LORD whisper to my heart..."You don't need to worry about this any more. I started to feel peace in the coming days. Just ask my husband. I was a different girl! Fast forward...not sure how much time. Maybe a couple of .years. I decided to go to a OD and see if I needed thyroid. I was tested and he told me I was in the normal range, but just barely. He decided to give me Armour Thyroid 25 mg, which is really low. I started taking it. I started to feel different right away. My skin changed, my breasts were tender, my cycles started getting regular. The end of the year I found out I was pregnant with my second child! Actually, on Christmas Day! What an incredible blessing! If Id gotten pregnant any earlier, I wouldn't have her. But I must say, receiving the blessing of God before he ever gave me another child was the best gift he could give. I needed that sooo badly. He showed me I could trust Him when I dont understand what's going on. That He had my best interest at heart! My sweet daughter was the cherry on top! What a good God! I get how difficult trusting and waiting is. And God brings people through all sorts of circumstances. But as I look back (My daughter is now 25) I really wish I had trusted the LORD with my circumstances. But through that I learned He is trustworthy in everything!
Thanks for sharing your story, from my research different IVf doctors offer different scenarios ....our doc would always ask ot inform how many embryos they were using for us, it was never forced to have 6/ 9 that to me sounds outrageous as we never had that many to start with so all were precious to us. My sister who is catholic was right against it and was warning me. I questioned the science sometimes but i didnt feel it was evil trying to get pregnant. Its a heartbreaking journey at times. I ask God for forgiveness in case it was but thats between him and us
I never leave comments, as the topic is private but I must say this is the comment I needed today. I feel so angry at God, even if I know I shouldn't. I feel abandonned and not worth of His grace. I feel like I did something wrong and I don't even know what. I thought I was a good person. I keep asking myself why. Why me? Why put me through so much pain and sadness? I see everywhere pregnant women. I am truly happy for them, I send them blessings mentally everytime I cross one of them. I don't envy them. I just can't help thinking how unfair it is. At 46 years old, people guilt you for not having kids before, as if I chose this. As if you can walk outside and just reproduce yourself with the first man. I'm a believer and I wanted to be married first. I wanted to find the right person and stay married until dead do us part. I was blessed to find this love but it happened very late in my life. I have nothing against anyone and I understand each reason and journey towards parenthood but all the unmarried girls, cheating girlfriends, women using sperm banks, women who didn't even want kids, gay couples, all the girls who had one or more abortions etc. are having their babies while I am left with nearly no hope. Despite a very good health and a good ovarian reserve, I was told IVF was better for me. To save time at my age and to avoid an operation after they discovered both my tubes were blocked. I had to go to another province because mine dosen't allow IVF after 40 years old and because here, they push for egg donors, wich is out of the question for us. I am told I should have froze my eggs when I was younger, when it didn't even cross my mind. We are supposed to have another round of IVF but my heart is telling me to go for the operation and unclog my tubes instead. I felt so guilty during the IVF because I had 2 embryos implanted, to maximize my chances of pregnancy. I lived in fear of having twins, for which I wonder now if I was punished. I remember when the nurse said it didn't matter anyways, I could just abort one if it happened. I was shocked. As if it was normal, as if it was nothing to pick one life over another. I also lived in fear of losing the stronger embryo, the one that was supposed to stay with the help of the other. I lost both and we are unconsolable. I never felt this level of sadness. You can loose anything in the world but nothing compares to this loss. A part of me, of us, left us. It's a heartbreak like I never knew before. They were both only a few days, but even if most people call them cells ('it's nothing at this stage'), they are my children and I loved them beyond anything else from the second they existed and I will love them forever. I will never forget them. Since they left me and left us, I have this very strong feeling that I will meet them both above when my time will come. But for now, life on Earth is unbearable. I wonder what caused your bitterness towards women who weren’t married with kids. You felt they weren’t deserving of children because they weren’t married ? Glad you’ve come a long way and that God still blessed you despite you being angry at him when he was sending you signs for so long ! What a merciful and Good God we have.
I was one of the woman you were mad at. I got pregnant at 17. I was alone, scared, and everywhere I went, I got nasty looks and comments from women. It was really disheartening. Everyone but my parents told me to abort. I chose to listen to my parents. I am so glad that I didn't let the hate and anger from other women persuade me to kill her. I got married to an incredible man and have been with him 20 years now. We tried for years. I never got pregnant again. She was my miracle baby. She will be 25 in a month. Everyone kept telling me, in time, or telling me stories how they quit trying and got pregnant. It never happened though. I understand why you were mad. I just hope you were nice to the women who were pregnant. I will never forget how I was treated by so many women. You don't know their story or what they've gone through. God has a plan for all of us. God gave me a baby at 17 knowing my body wouldn't be able to conceive due to cysts on my ovaries. So I do know the pain of wanting a child with my husband. It just wasn't a part of Gods plan for us. I always made sure that the women who told me they were pregnant how happy I was for them, I never wanted another woman to feel the way that so many women made me feel when I was pregnant, it was already hard. They had no idea and no cares in the world if what their words did to me.
after reading the comments, there are people that just plainly stick to "every child is a blessing so its not bab / my child won't be here if not for IVF" well, you are right, every child is a blessing, the child from ivf, the child from rape, from fornication, from adultery, teenage pregnancies etc They are all blessings that doesn't make the process leading to their existence right. But God, in His mercy brings goodness even through our sin. As a believer the fact that most men have to watch porn and masturbate to get the sperm should already reveal to you the devil's agenda with this, b4 going into the deeper things in the process. It's not easy to wait on God's promise sometimes, you can imagine how hard and painful it must have been for Sarah, Abraham, Hannah, Rachael etc. But TRUST GOD, He wants the best for you, He knows the best for you. Hold on to Him, even though it's just the hem of His garment. I was going to do IVF with my first husband over 15 years ago. When I was to start the process I heard an audible do not do which startled me as I was in the room alone. I had determined that I was going to have my baby and moved forward. But as the days went by I questioned why I was being told not to do it. As a result, I started to do research and what I found scared me. I decided to stop the process which greatly angered my husband. Unfortunately it lead to the end of my marriage, but I was grateful to God that He spared me from unnecessary suffering of myself and a potential child.
I had all the info and risks. My first transfer didn’t work and I kept praying and my second transfer worked and I’m now pregnant. God gave doctors knowledge for a reason.
What in the world. There’s a LOT of knowledge in the world, that doesn’t mean all of it is moral….. I understand how painful it is to not be able to conceive naturally… but having that pain doesn’t automatically mean it’s right to create babies in a lab. IVF has opened a horrific door. It’s playing God, plain and simple & is causing so SO many more abortions than there would be if it weren’t being used. The most insane thing I’ve heard lately is ‘ethical IVF’ which apparently is implanting all embryos even if they know they’re not viable…. The fact that so many people have blinded themselves to these horrors is honestly terrifying.
I am relatively young and as a result of health issues ended up with ovarian insufficiency.. which is as she describes, low functioning ovaries and low amount of eggs. Doctors knew going in that my ovaries would take a massive hit in the process of healing me, and so they recommended I look into IVF seeing that I was young and looking to be a mom. I went, I saw the doctor, had multiple visits, and I just got a really bad vibe from the whole thing. It felt like a scam. It's like my instincts were screaming red flag, red flag! at me. I started reflecting on my visit and imo, I came to the conclusion that it's a massive scam! It's all a game of chance, in multiple steps, and the entire time, each and every step, you as the woman trying to get pregnant, you're putting your health on the line. I decided not to do IVF and went through all my therapies to get better. Miraculously got pregnant last year, and now I have my miracle baby, conceived naturally. And I'm soooo happy I didn't have to get through all the IVF treatments.
So glad i didnt go through with ivf, as it was deemed the only way i could concieve. I concieved after 4 years with other infertility treatments and prayers . Now eight years again battling infertility , my son is now 8 years. I know God will do it when its time
Man my heart just mourns with how much we have been deceived. How much we aren’t told. I saw an infertility doctor after three loses and without even having done any testing she said I would need IVF and I had already decided I wouldn’t. Went to a new doctor and I had a gene mutation and I need blood thinners. After 4 years and 3 loses I had my beautiful daughter. Don’t trust someone just because they went to school.
When I was young, I played with the sweetest girl kitty corner from my backyard . She had down syndrome. She was honest, loving joyful, and she knew enough how to play all the games that were popular in the 60’s . Blessings to her she was a great blessing to me.
It seems like you only hear about people who get pregnant month one or who have infertility. Average is 3-6 months and if you’re under 35 it’s not something to worry about if it takes a year. Also-don’t just go by what doctors say for optimal times to get pregnant. Both my kids were conceived on 2nd to last day of my period. YES! I always have one light day just before it ends, it comes back for one more day after that. That‘a when I am fertile apparently. I know because both times that’s when “it” was done and hubs had to travel for work after and we missed our “window”-except apparently we didn’t. It made hubby and I wonder how many people may just be missing their window when it comes to fertility. If we had adhered exclusively to what is recommended based on typical schedule we may never have gotten pregnant. Funny enough he had a friend confide in him about the struggle to get pregnant. He told his friend about our schedule and recommended they try “not recommended” times. They were pregnant a couple months later. Side note I know a couple who struggled to have kids. They waited well over 10 years and then bing bang boom bam-they have 4 now. But 10 years! That would’ve been so hard. They never did fertility treatments. Just left it to God. Another couple was told they would NEVER conceive without assistance. Tried ivf and had several failed rounds. Moved to adoption. Surprise! Pregnant! Went ahead with adoptive process and then had two. One bio one adopted. Then got pregnant again. And then again. Soooooo sometimes doctors don’t know everything.
Wow…so the Doctor’s office has a room where the men can watch porn?! The man has to commit adultery in his heart in order to conceive a child with his wife. That’s just evil.
Umm, maybe this is tmi but they allowed my wife to go in the room with me for her to “help” and avoided that particular issue. It’s still kinda weird though going to a doctor type office and then everyone knows what you’re about to do in there. The process didn’t work for us. Went the foster care/adoption route after that.
While i am sadly sure that is how some men are encouraged by some doctors to proceed, not all clinics operate solely that way. "The man has to commit adultery in his heart in order to conceive a child with his wife" is NOT true. Some clinics allow the wife to join her husband in the room (no porn needed ), as well as there are alternatives to get the sample at home if one lives within a half hour to hour & drop off at specific time (or one could rent a room at a nearby hotel with their spouse). Also while the sample typically goes in a cup, there is sometimes an option to use a specific supplied condom as well. Please do not think every man that has given a "sample" has "committed adultery in his heart" to get there. We should be more proactive in this regard ("samples" for health checks or conception like IUI, etc) to educate people, especially in the faith communities, that there are other avenues men can use to provide "a sample" that do not break the marriage covenant.
@@blossominginthedesert6730 Okay, IVF still involves the freezing and potential murder of all those embryos that did not get implanted or that had to be destroyed during this process. So respectfully, 'adultery' should be the least of your issues here! It's really not that complicated. God has made it so that those who are meant to have children can do so without the latest man made technology, and without risking the lives of other human beings in doing so.

I found your podcast a few months ago and it has been so refreshing to see you standing up for what we are called to as Christians and providing facts on tough topics. I would like to provide a different perspective regarding this episode, however. Our story involved ONE IVF cycle, ONE embryo implanted, ZERO embryos "on ice", we declined genetic testing on our embryo, we declined chromosome testing to find out the sex of our embryo and pornography was NOT involved in order for my husband to provide a sperm sample. We may be a small minority, but we do exist. To God be the glory!

My friend has been married for only 4 years and has suffered 1 early miscarriage last summer. They are already undergoing IVF treatments. I think there is something to be said for hormone balancing regimens to make sure the woman's body is operating as healthy and naturally as possible. My period didn't regulate until I went on one of those natural regimens. Get off processed foods and birth control meds.
Our IVF journey has been a blessing. We have surpassed all drs expectations and we always say it’s because God is with us. We have witnessed Gods hand moving and others are seeing this with their own eyes!
Yes and we agree just not those others that are given to science or destroyed that’s the issue I see. Grateful for the parents who don’t destroy but the moms and babies only learn their birth year and their parents age and ethnicity. Me personally I would want to try to birth every viable egg after I tried changing stuff to get pregnant naturally. But it’s a blessing for sure but it’s a money maker and an industry with these other babies being lefty behind like an egg. Which it isn’t 😭. These are humanbeings.
This is such an ethical and moral delema, and i can't begin to say what i would or would not do if i had not been able to conceive so easily. I love that, Dr. Kabal is helping women to look at underlying issues to help them conceive without ivf. Our whole medical system needs to be revamped to teach wellness by better nutrition, exercise, and healthy lifestyles rather than treating symptoms and not root causes. I agree with what she said about better health education, and the long term effects bad choices can have on our mental and physical health in so many ways.
@@4everloved142 Yep. Unfortunately nobody ever considers that a factor as to why they may have fertility issues. I’m very thankful I wasn’t on birth control very long when I did decide to take it, I hated the way I felt and my period was just straight up not normal. I’m in 2 babies deep and haven’t had any fertility issues thank God!
I have sisters who were on birth control and now have healthy kids naturally. One conceived while on the pill and the other within 6 months. PCOS cause isn’t fully known but genetics and obesity are a huge factor. Birth control does not cause it. Many women go on the pill in their 20s which is also the time women begin to gain weight in general. But it’s easy to blame PCOS on the pill rather than their bad health choices and obesity. I was on and off of birth control for roughly 10 years. The only difference I noticed was my sex drive was higher off the pill. Or that may have been because we were trying to convince and I was excited 😅 it took us almost 1.5 years to get pregnant, but I eventually did naturally. I did see a fertility specialist and was told IUI was my next option. We just stopped communicating with my dr and a few months later I was finally pregnant. During the 1.5 years I studied infertile couples of the Bible and it gave me so much peace and hope.
I have a neighbor who is now in her 30s and trying to get pregnant and she's so frustrated. She told me one time, "I'm starting to wonder if it was all the birth control I took in my 20s". It broke my heart to hear her say that 💔
So excited that a doctor like this exists. Hopefully many more will catch on. I’m very blessed that I never struggled with infertility but my heart is with those families that do. ❤
Before I came to Christ, I used to work as an IVF Embriologist (thats the part in the lab.) I used to believe I was doing something great for humanity, helping those patients become parents. We had a whole wall of family pictures from these patients hanging in our work area, it used to make me smile. I used to think the sperm collection process in the "porn room" was just a normal part of it, never considering how sinful and degrading it was. And instead of accepting God's Will, we are there acting as God, picking and choosing human life. Thats an immense power that is not ours to have. There are millions of these embryos in frozen tubes right now, just sitting there, its terrible. It was an interesting experience that opened my eyes to the reality of IVF, and thanks be to God, He pulled me out of there quickly. I will never work in IVF again, its something I deeply regret, and Id never recommend IVF to anyone because the immoral implications are just too heavy, and we are not God. Ive seen how beautiful adoption is and thats the far better choice, where you get the chance to save a life. What can be more joyful than that?
I’m thankful to finally hear a doctor talk about the expectations- the ways people can do ivf without fertilizing all, or discarding/testing etc. Ivf can be done thoughtfully.
I know they didn't have time to go into egg retrieval procedure, but everyone should look up what that is. When I did, I was horrified at the risks that women are exposed to just in the initial stage of IVF which is egg retrieval. I then had access to information, having a medical background, to a conference of fertility specialists wherein they haven't done enough research in the risks of egg retrieval, like infection, unhealed perforation of the uterus, blood release into the peritoneal cavity, etc.!!!!
Did two cycles of IVF in 96 and have a 27 year old daughter. Every step of the way I prayed thank yous and even wrote the prayers down. Immediately after each prayer the phone calls would come in all positive from the doctor. My situation was truly a gift from God and I understood that hence always putting God first and giving Him all the glory. I now know the side effects and how many women have later died of ovarian cancer due to the meds we were given. Even Gilda Radner from SNL died from her IVF. When I did it insurance seldom paid for it and I got blessed. I too ended up risking ovarian cancer concealed in a large cyst and blessed for me they got it all out. Would I do it again? In my situation yeah I would. Both tubes were greatly damaged which is where my problem lied but it also could not be fixed.
Wow I was not aware of the risk of cancer. I already have higher risks due to family genetics which I think ties into fertility problems and reproductive problems also being genetic and how often it is ignored in our medical practices. It all is connected.
I know of a woman who did IVF. She had no plans to repeat the procedure after she had her child. I knew her 16 years after. I asked her what would happen to the eggs. She had no idea and didn't want to think about it. I didn't see how anyone could just have not given any thought to that. Why not know the entire process??
In our fertile lives we loose very many natural conceptions that fail to implant for various reasons. Often we don't even know we're pregnant. I don't think it helps to feel guilty as even in nature implantation just doesn't happen.

@michelle_trujillo Try pre-seed, eliminate broccoli & sulphuric foods, stop working out (cortisol), track your fertility window with Premom & do the deed every 12 hours during your window :) also make sure you and husband get off any and all prescription and OTC drugs.
We had the “unexplained” diagnoses after 3 years of TTC. We decided to not proceed with fertility treatments after that diagnoses and got pregnant naturally. We did do the HSG (dye test) to check for blockages in my fallopian tubes, I’ve heard this procedure alone can clear up blockages! Not sure if I had one or not, but I was able to get pregnant shortly after (maybe within 6 months?) of the HSG.
Yes! The HSG test is critical! We tried to conceive for over two years (I have severe endometriosis and PCOS) and I finally got an HSG test. I got pregnant a week later. It was incredible. Now that baby is nearly 9 and I also have a 2 year old. I credit the first pregnancy with the HSG test,
Such a powerful discussion. My oldest is 36. We experienced 8 years of infertility treatments. We had 3 miscarriages, list our only son to SIDS, 5 c/sections, raised 4 girls. Insurance granted a one year extension when we lost coverage and our 27 year old was conceived the LAST month of coverage. My sister had one child naturally, then 4 failed IVF cycles! I wish I could have walked in faith as I know I caused so much stress, crying, begging, bullying God! 😢🤦♀️🙏My children were loved and raised to know Him, but none walk with him today! This is devastating!
We did IVF 2 years ago. We really did not have the money but we made many sacrifices. At first my experience was wonderful, They retrieved 8 eggs, 5 were matured but sadly only one fertilized. We did it through ICSI. We decided to do a frozen transfer. I raised concerns about the transfer date because our clinic was 3 hours away from my home and I had to photograph a 10 hour wedding day the day after transfer but the dr said it would be fine, but in my heart I felt like it wasn't, but I trusted the dr and sadly 2 weeks after the transfer they told us that the embryo didn't stick. My husband had cancer when he was much younger and the treatment left him a 1% sperm count. The first round they put him on an over the counter vitamin, but then after the failed round they wanted to put him on a steroid. I honestly lost my faith in the clinic and in humanity. Last year I started drifting from God, I was angry and started feeling hatred. My husband lost his faith and drifted apart and I nearly lost my marriage. I had been praying for a baby, I questioned God because, why? I am a good person, I would raise my children knowing God and that we would raise our children in God's name. Last year, I changed my prayer, I told God that I was angry with Him and I did not want to be angry with Him. I prayed for His Grace, I prayed for Peace, Wisdom and understanding. I photograph expecting moms and newborns all the time, and in past it killed me inside, but now I have found peace.
She's not blowing a whistle. She's just educating. I don't think people are wrong or right for doing this. However, I don't think we should be interrupting natures course. Help women find the root cause of their infertility.
@@kayeevans4639that’s an iodine deficiency and an insulin one. Dr berg has lots on this. My mom was told the same and here I’m. Her cravings were shrimp and ice cream (used to be 3 ingredients).
I find this Doctor to be so lovely and pretty. She seems like the kind of person you’d want to be cared for by medically. She will find success in another field!
Me to but they should have had the parents who adopted know more then just the ethnicity and year they were conceived. And others are donated to science or destroyed by the company or the parents request.
Speaking as an infertile woman: we need to re-teach people that some things just need to be accepted and come to terms with. "You can't always get what you want". Surrogacy and IVF are ethically WRONG for many reasons, just like abortion, but the root of all is selfishness. I want this, so I have a RIGHT to it. No, you don't, not if another human being is involved. A child isn't merchandise, not something you buy or discard as you see fit.
This topic is always very interesting to me. I always love babies and watched Tlc baby stories. Sad they ended all of that. I always wanted to be a mom and wanted to have my own children and maybe adopt. So it’s probably no surprise that I became a newborn photographer because I just love babies. When my husband and I got married 4 month later I was pregnant and then had my first miscarriage and it when then happen 3 more times. I went through times of loss and then not getting pregnant at all over the next 2 years. It was hard! I was always so jealous of those who would get pregnant the first time and then be able to have their first pregnancy lead to a viable baby. I had so much testing and felt the doctors didn’t care. We ended up moving and I went to a different fertility doctor and found i wasn’t always ovulating. So then went on clomid and the second time around had a positive test and the doctor put me on progesterone. I think that is what helped me keep my baby and actually now have an almost 10 year old. I was told I had unexplained infertility and never once did they bring up IVF. So it is interesting how much that is pushed now. But who knows the first doctors didn’t listen at all to me and had no care.
I love the medical talk of it all. I love how she is an advocate for getting to the root problem. The endocrine system is soo important. Hormones and that potassium sodium pump play such a huge role too
I just turned 30 years old. We have been trying for about 2 years. I’m devastated every day. One failed IUI cycle and I have always felt conflicted about IVF. I don’t know what’s right. I’m hoping we have a successful IUI on our next cycle. I pray for every girl out here who wants to be a mom but her body won’t let her.
I would’ve loved if you were able to talk about the common endocrine disruptors found in every day products that many of us are unaware of. Basically, in all scented items, these endocrine disruptors really mess with fertility and women and it’s not talked about enough. Really enjoyed. This conversation would have loved a follow up with some of our questions.
Not everyone is aware of this, and they need to be! All of the scented stuff that are in all womens products (tampons too) contribute heavily to infertility.

It’s easy to judge when you’re not in the midst of infertility nor have ever been through infertility. This is hurtful to any woman struggling with closed tubes and have no other option to be pregnant.
Sometimes the truth hurts. But it still must be dealt with. The truth is this industry is not ethical and Christians have no business supporting it. It is what it is. And I shouldn’t have to be since it’s just the truth, but I’m saying this as someone who can’t have kids and is having to walk with God in that myself.
I am on year 6 of infertility, and I don’t feel judged AT ALL. And I’m so grateful for doctors like her speaking out. The hard truth is I’m not owed a biological child. IVF is not the only option. There is adoption, there is fostering, and there are other ways to be maternal in the world.
We got to accept reality and truth no matter our situation i dealth.with fertility issues and miscarriages and etc but we have to stop taking it personal this is the.reality of this process. People need to know the.truth they making money off our problems .
It took me six years to get my daughter here. I did not do IVF but it was an emotional hell until I gave it to God and kept focusing on improving myself while I waited. Once I got pregnant I was able to realize the path that I had to walk before my babies could get to me.
I worked at an infertility clinic for 7 years and everything this doctor explained is very accurate. There’s a lot of emotional, psychological and financial stress that affects many couples in order to become partners. And don’t get me started in egg, sperm donors and surrogacy. That’s another whole conversation.
And that is a blessing. We are referring to the babies that the parents of ivf choose to freeze, donate to science and destroy 😢. And I’m grateful for the IvF parents that freeze, donate to adopt. However these families and babies are only told the year, ethnicity of the parents and how many years they have been frozen. Imagine the blessing that they get to know their family and medical stuff if it comes up in the future. And they will if they want to pay for genetic testing. Then they know their living blood relatives to connect with if they choose.
Oaky so I was looking 👀 around 15:37 (right before) her facial expressions went where I wondered if she did pick up a demon. Not being funny but I noticed she was a little strange and so I began to watch then saw that event. There’s a lot going on here. Maybe she’s upset? I really can’t tell.. but her expressions are definitely borderline eccentric.
This is cruel. As a Christian, there are some people who physically can’t have kids (in our case my husband was born with autoimmune disease that physically didn’t allow him to release sperm). IVF was our way and even then, GOD STILL HAS THE FINAL WORD!
If it is in Gods will to have a child you would. Taking things into your own hands is like playing god. Look at Sarah she was in her 100s in age and he blessed her, look at Hannah, she was blessed with Samuel. By Gods grace and through prayer and a relationship with him. He knows your heart and needs and want to bless you, there’s no need to take things into your own will. What little faith. And he puts things into our lives that maybe we might not want , but need or so when we overcome it we can live in testimony of his glory.

While I personally love to hear different sides of this, I will never judge or blame a woman who does whatever it takes to get her babies here. My dr says grading is a beauty contest. They will transfer any grade. They also don’t push pgt testing. Ivf is how my babies got here, I’m 17 weeks pregnant with my fourth, three are from ivf. Be kind to others and don’t judge.
Exactly. I haven’t even watched the whole thing and there’s nothing unbiblical of doing ivf without pgt testing and without discarding them. The industry is morally corrupt but that doesn’t mean every doctor and patient is. My doctor prays for me during transfers.
It's so disheartening how judgmental Christians have become in this space. After years of infertility, and yes, trying natural treatment, my husband and I decided to do IVF. I had a very close friend say she could no longer be my friend because my children were " outside the will of God." We have not tested our embryos, will not discard any of them, and will give them all a chance at life. I am currently 32 weeks pregnant with my miracle girl and I wouldn't change a THING. I"m so grateful and thankful the Lord has given us the resource of IVF. HE knit my babies together, no doctor could EVER do that. HE is the one that gives life and takes it away. Jesus wasn't a " natural" conception either. It's so funny to me that all these same people are all for adoption embryo's, but if they're your own children you're somehow demonized because how dare you be so selfish to want your own biological children? How selfish to think you deserve that? You can absolutely do IVF in a moral, God honoring way. My children are no less valuable, no less created by the God of the universe because we needed help. And not all men look at the seedy material in the rooms to get a sample. My husband looked at pictures of ME. IVF is playing God. That alone means we shouldn't be doing this! If you are meant to be blessed with a child, you will become pregnant the way God intended and have a baby. Period. End of discussion. Some people are not meant to be parents, and that's okay! God has chosen another path for them ❤

Adoption easily makes people parents. The Lord tells us takings cate of orphans, which is an obvious way for people who suffer through infertility to be parents and do God’s will ❤
It is playing God, and the people who get mad at Allie Beth? People whose children were these lab created people. It is like doing an end run around truth. Every woman I know who did IVF just happened to end up with breast cancer. Are they told that is possible? The best person I know adopted four siblings whose - as they call them - first parents - were tragically killed in a car accident. She and her husband could not love those great kids any more. So many children need homes, so many lost to abortion.
25 years ago when I was a young mother of a BEAUTIFUL daughter with Down Syndrome I was blessed to have the Geneticist I did. He encouraged me over and over to all the positive possibilities ahead for us and provided me with valuable resources to encourage and help me, and welcomed her birth to this world like any other birth full of potential and happiness. Being new to the world of untypical children I didn’t know what to expect. Everything he and her pediatrician predicted was correct but beyond measure. Our family has been truly blessed. ❤ IVF facilities are doing a grave disservice to our world by playing God.
I'm a firm believer that God will open your womb when He pleases. That's if He decides to do so. If not, maybe you were meant to take care of the fatherless? I personally dont think God intended us running to IVF..

I've known people who were told they'll never have children after praying and waiting. But, to each their own. As long as you instruct them in the Lord. That's all that matters.

I grew faith and compassion during those trials. I will never again assume anything about others. Having gone through a years long battle - no one knows what others are going through.
"I would love to never have another cervical check in my life." Amen, Allie. There are so many better ways to monitor labor, and I think hospital staff dismiss the impact of what they do. It's wayyyy past time for women to say no to unnecessary intervention.
80% of OB-gyns are women. If such checks were unnecessary, wouldn't they know that? Why would they do that for no good reason? They don't get paid more for doing it.
I had a uterine biopsy and the pain was no more than cramps but afterward I felt so sick. I couldn't leave the doctor's office. I threw up, had a bowel movement in the bathroom and almost fainted. This was all due to being anemic from heavy periods. I needed iron infusions. My periods have stopped and my red blood cell count is good. I don't want to have another uterine biopsy!! I have that choice. I am infertile and fine with it.

We live in a world where it is normalised and even encouraged to have kids without the marital act and to perform the marital act without being open to kids. We have completed separated sex and kids and it’s appropriate design by God. Thank God for the bioethics teachings of the Catholic Church.

I know a couple who could never have children: my aunt and uncle. They married young, and tried to have kids multiple times, and each time it was a miscarriage. They gave up and decided to leave it to God. They’re in their late forties with no kids. However, maybe God had a different purpose for them. My aunt is the kindest person and always reminded me of Miss Honey from Matilda. Any child would love her. She became a nanny for many children and I’m sure those kids needed HER in their lives. She must have brought so much joy and love to many kids’ lives. She was also actively involved with raising one of her nieces (my cousin), who was so lucky to have her in her life.(she didn’t assist raising my cousin bc my cousin needed it. My cousin has married parents who provide her with everything. My aunt just loves kids and chose to always be there for my cousin and also take care of her.) I haven’t seen my aunt in over a decade, but I still have the kindness she gave me in my heart. It’s possible that HER purpose was not to be a mother but to bring something else to the world. We’ll never know for sure, but she never had her own children and many other children not her own benefited greatly from that. So make of that what you will.
Wonderful episode. Very informative and helpful to get a credentialed professionals take. What I will say though is, I had my son (second born) with the help of IUI (interuterine insemination) A procedure where my husband's sperm was placed in my uterus via a needle because his sperm count had not only dropped, but also became very lazy over the years. This is a procedure that can only be done at a fertility clinics. And my experience there was wonderful. The staff where very welcoming and knowledgeable. Nobody pushed me to do anything I wasn't comfortable with. Everything was explained in great detail and I never felt pressured or mishandled in anyway. Now this isn't to discredit anyone else's experience. I truly feel for the women who have gone to such clinics and were made to feel like just number. But I just want to say that not every clinic is the same, and there are doctors that do care and really want to aid in your ability to have a family and will respect your boundaries. I think it's great that more doctors are speaking out with more natural/holistic ways to help with conceiving and I pray that all the couples struggling with this are given peace and hope ultimately the family they are continuing to strive for.

You know what would be great if all the Dr's like her were listed in every state. This way we can know where in our state we can go instead of traveling all the way to Cali or somewhere too far. I would still do it but we all know there are some who can't. And I am sure all this is going to cost enough without state travel. We need more Dr's that think like her and really like the other Dr's Allie has on her show.
There is a list of NaPro doctors in every state on the NaPro technology website or the St. Paul VI institute. NaPro Technology Medical consultants/surgeons and FEMM trained doctors both practice restorative reproductive medicine and there are lists of them. I’m sure there are also others outside of those specialties, but those are excellent places to start.

Just trying to reach out to anyone watching this who is struggling with infertility. Here’s my testimony. After 4 years of trying , grieving every month and being hopeful every month . I finally prayed that God just take the pain away , and that he shows me a path that I meant to follow . I felt instant relief and went about my days . The following week a person I didn’t know came into my shop when it was empty and said “ God had told me to come I’m here and say you’re going to have a baby by Christmas “( this was in early October ). This was triggering because I’d just come to terms with my situation . I told my husband about that person coming in and we both laughed it off . 4 weeks later around November I was pregnant. I now have a beautiful 10 month old baby ✨ surrendering to Gods plan , whatever it is , is the way x

I tried for 15 years. No intervention. Then I heard go off gluten and lose weight. I did this and within 3 months I was pregnant. It was a huge shock but so amazing. Tomorrow that baby boy turns 14 can't believe the years flew by so fast.

It’s probably the enriched flour that contains folic acid. The synthetic form of folate (folic acid) is actually highly toxic to anyone with the MTHFR gene mutation. Even if you don’t have the mutation, processed grains are major endocrine disruptors and affect fertility. I’m 8 weeks pregnant and gluten free. I take the methylated forms of B12 and folate so I metabolize it properly :)
A friend did IVF for 4 years (in her 30s), gave up after those 4 years, one year later, she became pregnant naturally… she then wanted to see if she could get pregnant again naturally 2 years after Baby #1, but it doesn’t happen. they knew they didn’t wanted to do IVF again, so again they “gave up”, again one year later after “giving up”, she became pregnant. However this time, she went to see a naturopath to work on her hormones, which was “off”, she needed only to work on her hormones within couple of supplements and boom, she became pregnant.
Another story - a friend had tried to get pregnant for 10 years, eventually her and her hubby came to accept it and move on with life….10 years later, in her late 40s, she gets pregnant with her first child!
They had been married 20 years before they were blessed with this little miracle…. I cried so much joy for her, they wanted children so badly but never wanted to intervene with medical things.

I have shared my story here before. Long story short, I did IVF before I gave my life to Christ. My first pregnancy, the day I found out a girl, I found out she would die. She was missing most of her brain and had the most severe case of Down's they have seen. Meaning, every single organ in her body was not normal. She was not compatible with life. I KNOW it was due to IVF. Even as I was going thru the motions to get pregnant with IVF, I had my doubts if I was supposed to do this. And then when this happened my baby girl, I knew. I was paying the consequences of my sin. I have given that to Christ, but it doesn't take the hurt away.
**EDIT; I never said I was being punished for the sin. Had I chose to not play God, my daughter would not have suffered. ALSO, just because you disagree w/me, does not give you the right to be a complete jerk. You have no idea the pain and suffering that my daughter and myself went through. And EVEN IF I am wrong, I am glad now that I know the truth of Christ and that it's IMMORAL to create children in a petri dish.

I almost got talked into doing ivf because of my age and I couldn’t find any Christian resources to help me decide but thankfully the Lord revealed to me that this was a process and decisions to make that I could not live with. We walked away and I’m now 41 and 21 weeks pregnant with my third baby, all naturally conceived thanks to addressing root causes through diet supplementation and acupuncture. We tried for twelve years. A lot of people asked me why we didn’t just do IVF during that time. There was something about it that bothered me. I didn’t want to end up creating a bunch of frozen embryos, for one thing, and then have to decide what to do with those little lives. I also didn’t want to risk the possibility of getting pregnant with higher order multiples and going though that high risk pregnancy and delivery, and also be pressured to “reduce” some of them.
Glory to God, we finally conceived spontaneously and then went on to have two more, the last born when I was 42 and my husband was 50, respectively.
Hope you are both really healthy, because older parents isn't fun for the kids, especially your husband already being 50.

This is also why certain people in other countries wait till late in life to have a child. Before our society became what it is women were having their last child into their 40s. And of course the man was usually older so that was not a strange thing.
IVF can't cause high-order multiples unless an extremely unethical doctor agrees to transfer several embryos into the womb at once.
My husband and I are in year 4 of recurrent miscarriages. 3 so far. We both believe that IVF is not an option for us. We are leaving it all up to the will of God as we start the education process of foster/adoption.

@emilydonleycpa I was told I have a low egg reserve. I'm 41 and my amh level is 0.08. We did 7 rounds of letrozole. I'm not sure that progesterone was offered as an option.

Thank you for having this conversation! I’m a triplet who was born through IVF, and I have been asking God what He thinks about it. God can obviously use a flawed system, and I’m so grateful I’m here- but I have a bit of survivors’ guilt and I’m grieved to hear some of the details of this process. I definitely had a lot more risk factors in my life that contributed to my own health issues, and this conversation answers a lot of questions I’ve had. What she said about doctors encouraging parents to reduce a triplet pregnancy is real- thank God my parents weren’t willing to do that. I’m also a mom on a Holy Spirit led health journey, and I personally love natural hormone healing methods and fertility awareness. I love that this doctor listened to the Holy Spirit, and what she’s doing now is so needed! ❤

We put our trust in our Savior. I know someone who had five years not having children. She gave her life to Jesus Christ and after a year she was asking God for a child and then a year later she got pregnant with twins. That is because she when through a fasting for four days not eating but in water and in prayers.

My partner was told he would be very unlikely to have kids. Fast forward we tried for 3 years and nothing I was praying hard for a baby. Then I just gave it up to god and focused on my life and then I got pregnant. Sometimes it's absolutely about healing your body during this time I was getting fitter by exercising and eating healthier was also smoking weed but God was helping to wean off that habit and once I got healthier and stopped the weed. I got pregnant. Praise God I couldn't have done it without him and now I have two kids ❤

I agree. It's very difficult when emotions are involved. Many women would say things like, "how dare you. You don't know what I've gone through " It hurts of course ... but what we need to do in all of it is truly to trust God. Believe his word. We also should ask, when does life begin? And do I have an idol here. Many people have idols without even realizing it.

It's totally valid for you not to want to be pregnant all the time or to feel overwhelmed by having more children than you wanted. It doesn't have to have anything to do with what other people's struggles are.
A friend of mine is the mother of a precious baby girl that was an extra IVF embryo, frozen for over 20 years. Our baby girls were born 5 days apart. Seeing the two side by side I see how God blessed the world with these two babies, that is true, and yet I can't get over the fact that my friend's beautiful daughter is only here because of human decision. She was a considered a less viable embryo than her brother that was born 20 years ago, and for that reason she almost didnt get a chance to be born. God bless her parents that saved this embryo and waited to find adoptive parents for her. IVF is such a profoundly complicated and morally confusing practice. Thank you for talking about this!

Dr Marc Sklar has some great videos and a downloadable PDF about how to naturally prepare your body for conception and pregnancy. The gist is to eat a varied whole food diet. Your plate should have colorful foods on it, not man made foods. Fruits, vegetables, lean meats, fish, nuts, fermented foods, etc. Consume less processed/added sugars. Drink more water. Eat/drink from dishes that aren’t made of plastic. Exercise regularly. Mix between cardio and strength training. Sleep 7-9 hours at night. Engage in deep breathing exercises regularly. Get some sunlight regularly in 10-20 minute increments.
All of these things are crucial to overall health and hormonal balance. We’ve shifted to using modern day consciences and for some people it’s what is causing fertility issues. Your body NEEDS these things. The best thing you can do is take care of yourself.

IVF has so many moral problems, and although I don’t condone it if you’re infertile, it’s much more understandable. My two children are both deaf, and doctors keep recommending IVF to me so that I don’t have any more deaf children. These poor doctors don’t understand how beautiful life is, regardless of handicaps.

Thank you for a wonderful and informative interview! My husband and I were married for 10 years and never used BC and never became pregnant. We discussed going to a fertility specialist and decided to try holistic approach first. We gave a 6 month timeline due to my advanced age-35 years old. In 3 months of counting ovulation fertile cycle, we became pregnant. At 8 weeks we found out we were having twins. Our identical twin daughters are 18 now.

I have a relative who went through IVF years ago, and all the babies implanted. They killed 3 or 4 (can’t remember exactly) and kept twins. They’re not believers and this information was shared so casually (with different terminology, of course) that I was speechless and it broke my heart to hear.

My brother and his wife have a similar story. They harvested and fertilized many eggs, and had 4 separate implantations. They had one frozen embryo “in storage” for years. They finally decided to implant it just to “clear up any loose ends”. That is how casually they speak of it!They finally had a successful birth. Sadly my nephew is mentally unwell. He is severely personality disordered and violent.
It's shockingly unethical for a doctor to transfer more than two embryos! This must have been in the bad old days before the industry decided to control its behaviour in that regard.

I have gone thru IVF and yes, patients are informed, if you do chromosomal testing, that they will not transfer any that have down syndrome or other abnormalities. My husband and I opted not to do chromosomal screening because we did not like that our clinic would not even transfer those embryos. Having gone through IVF, I know more than ever that God is always in control of life, even in IVF.
I had a successful ivf after four goes and i have legitimate complications down there. We did not do the chromosomal on our zygote but we did do one at 12weeks. There is no way I/we would bring a child in with chromosomal abnormalities. Peaching that it's God's will for this child to be born then depending on the godless modern medicine to keep them alive 🤨

I have been against IVF for a while now, but when Dr. Rubal was listing the types of babies that would be discarded and she mentioned Turner Syndrome it hit me harder than anything else has. I have a cousin with Turner Syndrome and you would absolutely never know if she didnt tell you. People only ever think of people with down syndrome when it comes to this, people with an obvious disability, but there are plenty of people who look perfectly normal and function excactly the same as everyone else. Yes, she will probably never be able to have biological children due to the fact that she never naturally went through puberty but God has a plan for her life. It just breaks my heart that people look at babies like her and just dont even give them the opportunity to live.

I understand why Turner syndrome seems like a minor issue but with IVF were talking about women having to risk their lives giving birth. They might never control their bladder again as long as they live. They might have gestational diabetes that becomes lifelong diabetes. Some people dont want to take these massive risks just to end up with a disabled child in the end.
@Otherwise88 well that all can come with normal pregnancy, those symptoms have nothing to do with disabled baby or babies with health problems. And especially not turner syndrome. Turner syndrome is when someone is missing a gender chromosome and doesn't affect their mental capabilities.
Also, these women aren't having to do anything, they are paying thousands and thousands of dollars to get to maybe have biological children. IVF is a privilege for people who can afford it at best.

My cousin and her husband after, years of infertility, adopted several embryos that another family had left after IVF. I love telling people about their story because so many don’t even know that adopting embryos that would otherwise be discarded or frozen indefinitely!

I have 2 of my 3 kids from IVF and I should have NEVER done PGT testing. Thankfully we only had 3 day 5 embryos and they were: 1 normal, 1 abnormal, 1 no result. Our doctor would only implant the normal one and that resulted in my son. But then we had this dilemma of wanting to give both the others a chance, knowing the abnormal girl would most likely not result in a pregancy or live birth. I called every single doctor in a 150 mile radius and explained that i wanted to implant both because of religious reasons. After 2 years of praying and getting through this extensive doctor list, the very last doctor in Manhattan (2 hours from me) would do it. I was treated with utmost care and compassion although the IVF process in general just felt so wrong to me. And yes i have been a Christian for a long time but ignored those convictions because of my strong desire for more children. Both embryos were implanted at the same time and i believe our "no result" is now our baby girl. I'm so glad my other daughter was given a real chance at life inside me. But then i also had 3 embryos that made it to day 3 that i feel guilty about. I'm so glad this discussion is taking place. So many embroys are discarded or indefinitely frozen that could in fact result in a healthy baby. It can also be a great blessing but at what cost.
I am so happy to hear this! This is a perfect example of the blessings that come from finding a doctor that will honor a patient’s religious beliefs. It is possible. So far I’ve just frozen eggs, but I worked relentlessly to find a doctor that is open to implanting embryos w no PGT or PGT abnormal with informed consent. Rather than outright ban IVF or liken it to some form of murder, I wish we would have more conversations around stories like yours. You can have a baby via IVF and honor your faith. It’s not one or the other.

@@geotj3044 if you are within a drive of NYC I could give you the name of the doctor we almost used. They were not covered under our insurance but does not believe in PGT testing as the end all be all. We went with another doctor in NYC under our insurance. They don't normally do abnormal but would do it because I was also implanting the other one. It really was so hard to find someone to honor our beliefs, it was definitely a God thing. I wish more doctors would only make 1-3 embryos at a time but I also know that it's very expensive, very hard on the woman undergoing the medication... blessings to you in your fertility journey. I know the pain and longing, the bruises that come from so many blood draws/injections, the uncertainty... God sees it to and if you continue to trust Him He will direct your paths.

Yes, some may have successful experiences of going through IVF in an ethical way that honors their faith, but what if those embryos die upon transfer? Can we say that's the same as a natural miscarriage? Those embryos wouldn't even exist if the parents hadn't decided to go through an artificial process. Or what if an IVF pregnancy ends in a premature birth that leaves the child with a permanent condition that lowers their quality of life? Etc, etc, etc. There's so many factors that you just cannot control with IVF, even if you attempt to go about it in the most ethical way possible. No matter what, you are placing yourself and your potential children at unnecessary risk. In my opinion, those of us who place our faith in Christ should instead surrender the idea that we are entitled to have biological children. And look to alternative methods like adoption, fostering, or even adopting embryos. Like Dr. Rubal said there's 1 million embryos in the US that are frozen indefinitely as we speak. There are organizations out there that accept embryos surrendered by their parents that they then make available to infertile couples. I also agree with Dr. Rubal- we should focus our attention on fertility research so more couples can have definitive diagnoses to work with.

Human beings have free will. God knows what will happen and what we will choose because he is all knowing and beyond time. But at any time, we can allow him to change our hearts (which he wants to do) and choose to walk a different path. PCOS and endometriosis need to be a part of the infertility conversation more regularly. Too many women are undiagnosed and told that their infertility is “unexplained”.
If I had known about these conditions sooner, then my husband and I wouldn’t have waited till I was 31 to start trying to conceive. I experienced 2 miscarriages, long lengths of infertility and we have never been able to have a second child after my son (we chose not to pursue fertility intervention). If I had been more informed about PCOS and endometriosis in my 20s then I may have realized that I fit the majority of the qualifications for both. I could have gotten tested and made wiser family planning decisions. As it is now, I thank God for my beautiful son and I wouldn’t dream of trading him for two hypothetical children, so I have contentment and peace, but I want to spread awareness to others. PCOS and endometriosis need to be discussed more! Women need to be made aware! Like, in their 20s, if not sooner, would be ideal, bc once you reach your 30s then the road is typically a lot harder and there’s less time.

Also, doctors need to start treating PCOS for what it is: a reversible dietary disease. I got a PCOS diagnosis at 14. I had almost no periods. All I was offered was birth control and the promise of fertility treatments in the future. I was under the impression that this was something I was born with and there was nothing I could do about it. That wasn’t true at all.
In my mid 20’s, I learned more about the disease and started fasting and eating low carb to treat my insulin resistance. Started getting regular cycles within a few months. 4 years and 2 babies later, I don’t even meet the criteria for a diagnosis anymore.

I got pregnant young at 20 (not on purpose) and many people wanted me to get an abortion but I prayed and I kept my daughter and she’s the best thing that could have happened to me. I'm pregnant with my third and don't even go into my doctors appointments until week 20 when we can learn the gender! I had one cervical check during my first pregnancy and never had one again because of how invasive it was. I am healthy, and all my babies have been healthy, so I refuse the cervical checks and go with the flow. The baby will come when it's time. I don't feel the need to track absolutely everything by going to the doctor every week. It blows my mind how doctors want you to limit cold meat, sea food, caffeine, etc while at the same time, pressure you to dope yourself up with vaccines that have incredibly harmful chemicals.
13 years ago I went in for that first appointment and it was so invasive. I had a "non worrisome hemorrhage" on the ultrasound afterwards. I called days later asking if my con't bleeding was normal. I worked in marketing at a pathology lab (my doc was a client) and went into a meeting right after the phone call. Our sales lady held up 2 speculums, one was a broom, one was like a mascara brush. She was saying please tell our clients/docs which one to use because they're tired of their pregnant patients calling in frantic. I was like... "yeah I'm one of them!!" 😮😅
Preach it girl. When I was pregnant with my first I was definitely laid back for the most part. Nurse told me I had to get some type of vaccine, she didn’t even know what it was, and found out later it was a tetanus shot. I didn’t want it in the first place but was lied to and was told I had to so I did. When that occurred I already realized the dangers vaccines have so I truly didn’t want it but felt pressured to do it. I had voiced my opinion on how I didn’t want my daughter vaccinated at all while I was pregnant. Same situation happened again but with the doctor, lied and told me I had to have her vaccinated. Had my husband come in for the next visit for vaccines/check up and she hasn’t had anything ever since. I was very determined to do things differently for the next go around of pregnancy. With my second I was able to have him at home and he wasn’t vaccinated at all, best experience of my life with a midwife by my side instead. If you have/ever have a boy and don’t to the vitamin k shot it’s almost impossible to find a doctor to do circumcision, if parents opt for that. Didn’t do vitamin k shot for my son, a rabbi circumcised him and it was less trauma and time than what you would experience at a hospital. The hospitals estimated time for the procedure is 45 minutes, don’t know why, the rabbi is 5 minutes and then given to mom to breastfeed for comfort. My son is my second and was by far the best experience I had postpartum/vaccine wise and midwife care but the pregnancy was a little rough with him lol.
I refuse testing but unfortunately spend a fair amount of time with medical intervention because of my severe hyperemesis.

I have a 10 month old son, he is super healthy and thriving, I never vistsed a doctors office once while pregnant with him, I just knew it was a boy and that he was healthy, I was healthy too through out.
I have seen and heard of many IVF and IUI success stories. I think if it’s Gods will, it will happen whether naturally or not. Also God gave these people wisdom to conduct such things
God allows for humans to exercise free will. Abortions happen, not through God given wisdom but through science that denies God’s intent stemming from human arrogance and pride. Not every scientific advancement is a good thing and stems from God’s wisdom. After watching this video, it’s clear that even a successful IVF cycle yielding a healthy baby, is littered with babies frozen on ice, or dead babies that couldn’t survive outside the womb or were discarded by doctors and/or parents. The IVF process is patently immoral and anyone who respects the sanctity of life should have an issue with it being discarded so easily during its most vulnerable state.

I am 62. Ive been married for 40 years. From going though puberty, I never had a regular cycle. Later in my 20s we went to a specialist ( btw he never tested my thyroid, which will become significant later) and they gave me Clomid, resulting in a pregnancy. A couple years later I wanted another child because I didn't want first child to be lonely. We tried Clomid again and we were unsuccessful to get pregnant. My doctor had mentioned IVF but I did not pursue it. Finally, I decided to look into the particulars of IVF. One thing that I gathered was that ( and this was the mid 90's) that they would implant as many embryos as would be created and then selectively abort some to make sure that someone would not have 9 babies in their womb. As a believer, I was not OK with that. But it was clear that, at least in my effort, I was not going to have a baby. I didn't pursue IVF. I became mad at God....I was losing in all directions! The anger at God was palpable! I carried it constantly. When I saw a pregnant woman, especially one who was not married, it made me all the more angry. 6 years went by! During that time, I had a friend who knew a nutritionist. She had me talk to her but I dismissed her observations. She had asked if my mother had thyroid problems. And yes, she had. But the thought of vitamins and thyroid meds...I dont know...I just dismissed it. I still felt sick to my stomach with sorrow. Then one day, I was making my bed....and I felt the LORD whisper to my heart..."You don't need to worry about this any more. I started to feel peace in the coming days. Just ask my husband. I was a different girl! Fast forward...not sure how much time. Maybe a couple of .years. I decided to go to a OD and see if I needed thyroid. I was tested and he told me I was in the normal range, but just barely. He decided to give me Armour Thyroid 25 mg, which is really low. I started taking it. I started to feel different right away. My skin changed, my breasts were tender, my cycles started getting regular. The end of the year I found out I was pregnant with my second child! Actually, on Christmas Day! What an incredible blessing! If Id gotten pregnant any earlier, I wouldn't have her. But I must say, receiving the blessing of God before he ever gave me another child was the best gift he could give. I needed that sooo badly. He showed me I could trust Him when I dont understand what's going on. That He had my best interest at heart! My sweet daughter was the cherry on top! What a good God! I get how difficult trusting and waiting is. And God brings people through all sorts of circumstances. But as I look back (My daughter is now 25) I really wish I had trusted the LORD with my circumstances. But through that I learned He is trustworthy in everything!
Thanks for sharing your story, from my research different IVf doctors offer different scenarios ....our doc would always ask ot inform how many embryos they were using for us, it was never forced to have 6/ 9 that to me sounds outrageous as we never had that many to start with so all were precious to us. My sister who is catholic was right against it and was warning me. I questioned the science sometimes but i didnt feel it was evil trying to get pregnant. Its a heartbreaking journey at times. I ask God for forgiveness in case it was but thats between him and us
I never leave comments, as the topic is private but I must say this is the comment I needed today. I feel so angry at God, even if I know I shouldn't. I feel abandonned and not worth of His grace. I feel like I did something wrong and I don't even know what. I thought I was a good person. I keep asking myself why. Why me? Why put me through so much pain and sadness? I see everywhere pregnant women. I am truly happy for them, I send them blessings mentally everytime I cross one of them. I don't envy them. I just can't help thinking how unfair it is. At 46 years old, people guilt you for not having kids before, as if I chose this. As if you can walk outside and just reproduce yourself with the first man. Despite a very good health and a good ovarian reserve, I was told IVF was better for me. To save time at my age and to avoid an operation after they discovered both my tubes were blocked. I had to go to another province because mine dosen't allow IVF after 40 years old and because here, they push for egg donors, wich is out of the question for us. I am told I should have froze my eggs when I was younger, when it didn't even cross my mind. We are supposed to have another round of IVF but my heart is telling me to go for the operation and unclog my tubes instead. I felt so guilty during the IVF because I had 2 embryos implanted, to maximize my chances of pregnancy. I lived in fear of having twins, for which I wonder now if I was punished. I remember when the nurse said it didn't matter anyways, I could just abort one if it happened. I was shocked. As if it was normal, as if it was nothing to pick one life over another. I also lived in fear of losing the stronger embryo, the one that was supposed to stay with the help of the other. I lost both and we are unconsolable. I never felt this level of sadness. You can loose anything in the world but nothing compares to this loss. A part of me, of us, left us. It's a heartbreak like I never knew before. They were both only a few days, but even if most people call them cells ('it's nothing at this stage'), they are my children and I loved them beyond anything else from the second they existed and I will love them forever. I will never forget them. Since they left me and left us, I have this very strong feeling that I will meet them both above when my time will come. But for now, life on Earth is unbearable. I was one of the woman you were mad at. I got pregnant at 17. I was alone, scared, and everywhere I went, I got nasty looks and comments from women. It was really disheartening. Everyone but my parents told me to abort. I chose to listen to my parents. I am so glad that I didn't let the hate and anger from other women persuade me to kill her. I got married to an incredible man and have been with him 20 years now. We tried for years. I never got pregnant again. She was my miracle baby. She will be 25 in a month. Everyone kept telling me, in time, or telling me stories how they quit trying and got pregnant. It never happened though. I understand why you were mad. I just hope you were nice to the women who were pregnant. I will never forget how I was treated by so many women. You don't know their story or what they've gone through. God has a plan for all of us. God gave me a baby at 17 knowing my body wouldn't be able to conceive due to cysts on my ovaries. So I do know the pain of wanting a child with my husband. It just wasn't a part of Gods plan for us. I was going to do IVF with my first husband over 15 years ago. When I was to start the process I heard an audible do not do which startled me as I was in the room alone. I had determined that I was going to have my baby and moved forward. But as the days went by I questioned why I was being told not to do it.
As a result, I started to do research and what I found scared me. I decided to stop the process which greatly angered my husband.
Unfortunately it lead to the end of my marriage, but I was grateful to God that He spared me from unnecessary suffering of myself and a potential child.

I had all the info and risks. My first transfer didn’t work and I kept praying and my second transfer worked and I’m now pregnant. God gave doctors knowledge for a reason.
What in the world. There’s a LOT of knowledge in the world, that doesn’t mean all of it is moral….. I understand how painful it is to not be able to conceive naturally… but having that pain doesn’t automatically mean it’s right to create babies in a lab. IVF has opened a horrific door. It’s playing God, plain and simple & is causing so SO many more abortions than there would be if it weren’t being used. The most insane thing I’ve heard lately is ‘ethical IVF’ which apparently is implanting all embryos even if they know they’re not viable…. The fact that so many people have blinded themselves to these horrors is honestly terrifying.
I am relatively young and as a result of health issues ended up with ovarian insufficiency.. which is as she describes, low functioning ovaries and low amount of eggs. Doctors knew going in that my ovaries would take a massive hit in the process of healing me, and so they recommended I look into IVF seeing that I was young and looking to be a mom. I went, I saw the doctor, had multiple visits, and I just got a really bad vibe from the whole thing. It felt like a scam. It's like my instincts were screaming red flag, red flag! at me. I started reflecting on my visit and imo, I came to the conclusion that it's a massive scam! It's all a game of chance, in multiple steps, and the entire time, each and every step, you as the woman trying to get pregnant, you're putting your health on the line. I decided not to do IVF and went through all my therapies to get better. Miraculously got pregnant last year, and now I have my miracle baby, conceived naturally. And I'm soooo happy I didn't have to get through all the IVF treatments.
Listening to these two godly women speak, just gave me hope in humanity. Thank you! May God continue to give you both wisdom. 🙏🏼

So glad i didnt go through with ivf, as it was deemed the only way i could concieve. I concieved after 4 years with other infertility treatments and prayers . Now eight years again battling infertility , my son is now 8 years. I know God will do it when its time
Man my heart just mourns with how much we have been deceived. How much we aren’t told. I saw an infertility doctor after three loses and without even having done any testing she said I would need IVF and I had already decided I wouldn’t. Went to a new doctor and I had a gene mutation and I need blood thinners. After 4 years and 3 loses I had my beautiful daughter. Don’t trust someone just because they went to school.
When I was young, I played with the sweetest girl kitty corner from my backyard . She had down syndrome. She was honest, loving joyful, and she knew enough how to play all the games that were popular in the 60’s . Blessings to her she was a great blessing to me.
It seems like you only hear about people who get pregnant month one or who have infertility.
Average is 3-6 months and if you’re under 35 it’s not something to worry about if it takes a year.
Also-don’t just go by what doctors say for optimal times to get pregnant. Both my kids were conceived on 2nd to last day of my period. YES! I always have one light day just before it ends, it comes back for one more day after that. That‘a when I am fertile apparently. I know because both times that’s when “it” was done and hubs had to travel for work after and we missed our “window”-except apparently we didn’t.
It made hubby and I wonder how many people may just be missing their window when it comes to fertility. If we had adhered exclusively to what is recommended based on typical schedule we may never have gotten pregnant.
Funny enough he had a friend confide in him about the struggle to get pregnant. He told his friend about our schedule and recommended they try “not recommended” times.
They were pregnant a couple months later.
Side note
I know a couple who struggled to have kids. They waited well over 10 years and then bing bang boom bam-they have 4 now. But 10 years! That would’ve been so hard. They never did fertility treatments. Just left it to God.
Another couple was told they would NEVER conceive without assistance. Tried ivf and had several failed rounds. Moved to adoption. Surprise! Pregnant! Went ahead with adoptive process and then had two. One bio one adopted. Then got pregnant again. And then again.
Soooooo sometimes doctors don’t know everything.
Wow…so the Doctor’s office has a room where the men can watch porn?! The man has to commit adultery in his heart in order to conceive a child with his wife. That’s just evil.

Umm, maybe this is tmi but they allowed my wife to go in the room with me for her to “help” and avoided that particular issue. It’s still kinda weird though going to a doctor type office and then everyone knows what you’re about to do in there. The process didn’t work for us. Went the foster care/adoption route after that.
While i am sadly sure that is how some men are encouraged by some doctors to proceed, not all clinics operate solely that way. "The man has to commit adultery in his heart in order to conceive a child with his wife" is NOT true. Some clinics allow the wife to join her husband in the room (no porn needed ), as well as there are alternatives to get the sample at home if one lives within a half hour to hour & drop off at specific time (or one could rent a room at a nearby hotel with their spouse). Also while the sample typically goes in a cup, there is sometimes an option to use a specific supplied condom as well. Please do not think every man that has given a "sample" has "committed adultery in his heart" to get there. We should be more proactive in this regard ("samples" for health checks or conception like IUI, etc) to educate people, especially in the faith communities, that there are other avenues men can use to provide "a sample" that do not break the marriage covenant.
As a man, I don't understand how any man can function under those circumstances. It's dehumanizing, being bred like bulls.
@@blossominginthedesert6730 Okay, IVF still involves the freezing and potential murder of all those embryos that did not get implanted or that had to be destroyed during this process. So respectfully, 'adultery' should be the least of your issues here! It's really not that complicated. God has made it so that those who are meant to have children can do so without the latest man made technology, and without risking the lives of other human beings in doing so.
Thank you for what you do, Allie! I found your podcast a few months ago and it has been so refreshing to see you standing up for what we are called to as Christians and providing facts on tough topics. I would like to provide a different perspective regarding this episode, however. Our story involved ONE IVF cycle, ONE embryo implanted, ZERO embryos "on ice", we declined genetic testing on our embryo, we declined chromosome testing to find out the sex of our embryo and pornography was NOT involved in order for my husband to provide a sperm sample. We may be a small minority, but we do exist. To God be the glory!

As a person with PCOS, or person with insulin resistance or diabetes; if any one is struggling with fertility; please go keto (low carb) in your diet. It has helped many women including myself.

My friend has been married for only 4 years and has suffered 1 early miscarriage last summer. They are already undergoing IVF treatments. I think there is something to be said for hormone balancing regimens to make sure the woman's body is operating as healthy and naturally as possible. My period didn't regulate until I went on one of those natural regimens. Get off processed foods and birth control meds.
Our IVF journey has been a blessing. We have surpassed all drs expectations and we always say it’s because God is with us. We have witnessed Gods hand moving and others are seeing this with their own eyes!
Yes and we agree just not those others that are given to science or destroyed that’s the issue I see. Grateful for the parents who don’t destroy but the moms and babies only learn their birth year and their parents age and ethnicity.
Me personally I would want to try to birth every viable egg after I tried changing stuff to get pregnant naturally. But it’s a blessing for sure but it’s a money maker and an industry with these other babies being lefty behind like an egg. Which it isn’t 😭. These are humanbeings.

This is such an ethical and moral delema, and i can't begin to say what i would or would not do if i had not been able to conceive so easily. I love that, Dr. Kabal is helping women to look at underlying issues to help them conceive without ivf. Our whole medical system needs to be revamped to teach wellness by better nutrition, exercise, and healthy lifestyles rather than treating symptoms and not root causes. I agree with what she said about better health education, and the long term effects bad choices can have on our mental and physical health in so many ways.
People go on the pill for 10 years, which stops their cycle and then get a diagnosis that they are “infertile”. So wild

@@4everloved142 Yep. Unfortunately nobody ever considers that a factor as to why they may have fertility issues. I’m very thankful I wasn’t on birth control very long when I did decide to take it, I hated the way I felt and my period was just straight up not normal. I’m in 2 babies deep and haven’t had any fertility issues thank God!

I have sisters who were on birth control and now have healthy kids naturally. One conceived while on the pill and the other within 6 months.
PCOS cause isn’t fully known but genetics and obesity are a huge factor. Birth control does not cause it. Many women go on the pill in their 20s which is also the time women begin to gain weight in general. But it’s easy to blame PCOS on the pill rather than their bad health choices and obesity.
I was on and off of birth control for roughly 10 years. The only difference I noticed was my sex drive was higher off the pill. Or that may have been because we were trying to convince and I was excited 😅 it took us almost 1.5 years to get pregnant, but I eventually did naturally.
I did see a fertility specialist and was told IUI was my next option. We just stopped communicating with my dr and a few months later I was finally pregnant. During the 1.5 years I studied infertile couples of the Bible and it gave me so much peace and hope.
I have a neighbor who is now in her 30s and trying to get pregnant and she's so frustrated. She told me one time, "I'm starting to wonder if it was all the birth control I took in my 20s". It broke my heart to hear her say that 💔
So excited that a doctor like this exists. Hopefully many more will catch on. I’m very blessed that I never struggled with infertility but my heart is with those families that do. ❤
Before I came to Christ, I used to work as an IVF Embriologist (thats the part in the lab.) I used to believe I was doing something great for humanity, helping those patients become parents. We had a whole wall of family pictures from these patients hanging in our work area, it used to make me smile. I used to think the sperm collection process in the "porn room" was just a normal part of it, never considering how sinful and degrading it was. And instead of accepting God's Will, we are there acting as God, picking and choosing human life. Thats an immense power that is not ours to have. There are millions of these embryos in frozen tubes right now, just sitting there, its terrible. It was an interesting experience that opened my eyes to the reality of IVF, and thanks be to God, He pulled me out of there quickly. I will never work in IVF again, its something I deeply regret, and Id never recommend IVF to anyone because the immoral implications are just too heavy, and we are not God. Ive seen how beautiful adoption is and thats the far better choice, where you get the chance to save a life. What can be more joyful than that?

I’m thankful to finally hear a doctor talk about the expectations- the ways people can do ivf without fertilizing all, or discarding/testing etc. Ivf can be done thoughtfully.

I know they didn't have time to go into egg retrieval procedure, but everyone should look up what that is. When I did, I was horrified at the risks that women are exposed to just in the initial stage of IVF which is egg retrieval. I then had access to information, having a medical background, to a conference of fertility specialists wherein they haven't done enough research in the risks of egg retrieval, like infection, unhealed perforation of the uterus, blood release into the peritoneal cavity, etc.!!!!
I think that giving birth to a baby conceived by any means must be many times more risky than egg retrieval (I've had both)
Did two cycles of IVF in 96 and have a 27 year old daughter. Every step of the way I prayed thank yous and even wrote the prayers down. Immediately after each prayer the phone calls would come in all positive from the doctor. My situation was truly a gift from God and I understood that hence always putting God first and giving Him all the glory.
I now know the side effects and how many women have later died of ovarian cancer due to the meds we were given. Even Gilda Radner from SNL died from her IVF.
When I did it insurance seldom paid for it and I got blessed. I too ended up risking ovarian cancer concealed in a large cyst and blessed for me they got it all out.
Would I do it again? In my situation yeah I would. Both tubes were greatly damaged which is where my problem lied but it also could not be fixed.
Wow I was not aware of the risk of cancer. I already have higher risks due to family genetics which I think ties into fertility problems and reproductive problems also being genetic and how often it is ignored in our medical practices. It all is connected.
I know of a woman who did IVF. She had no plans to repeat the procedure after she had her child. I knew her 16 years after. I asked her what would happen to the eggs. She had no idea and didn't want to think about it. I didn't see how anyone could just have not given any thought to that. Why not know the entire process??
In our fertile lives we loose very many natural conceptions that fail to implant for various reasons. Often we don't even know we're pregnant. I don't think it helps to feel guilty as even in nature implantation just doesn't happen.

We had the “unexplained” diagnoses after 3 years of TTC. We decided to not proceed with fertility treatments after that diagnoses and got pregnant naturally. We did do the HSG (dye test) to check for blockages in my fallopian tubes, I’ve heard this procedure alone can clear up blockages! Not sure if I had one or not, but I was able to get pregnant shortly after (maybe within 6 months?) of the HSG.
Yes! The HSG test is critical! We tried to conceive for over two years (I have severe endometriosis and PCOS) and I finally got an HSG test. I got pregnant a week later. It was incredible. Now that baby is nearly 9 and I also have a 2 year old. I credit the first pregnancy with the HSG test,
Such a powerful discussion. My oldest is 36. We experienced 8 years of infertility treatments. We had 3 miscarriages, list our only son to SIDS, 5 c/sections, raised 4 girls. Insurance granted a one year extension when we lost coverage and our 27 year old was conceived the LAST month of coverage. My sister had one child naturally, then 4 failed IVF cycles! I wish I could have walked in faith as I know I caused so much stress, crying, begging, bullying God! 😢🤦♀️🙏My children were loved and raised to know Him, but none walk with him today! We did IVF 2 years ago. We really did not have the money but we made many sacrifices. At first my experience was wonderful, They retrieved 8 eggs, 5 were matured but sadly only one fertilized. We did it through ICSI. We decided to do a frozen transfer. I raised concerns about the transfer date because our clinic was 3 hours away from my home and I had to photograph a 10 hour wedding day the day after transfer but the dr said it would be fine, but in my heart I felt like it wasn't, but I trusted the dr and sadly 2 weeks after the transfer they told us that the embryo didn't stick. My husband had cancer when he was much younger and the treatment left him a 1% sperm count. The first round they put him on an over the counter vitamin, but then after the failed round they wanted to put him on a steroid. I honestly lost my faith in the clinic and in humanity. Last year I started drifting from God, I was angry and started feeling hatred. My husband lost his faith and drifted apart and I nearly lost my marriage. I had been praying for a baby, I questioned God because, why? I am a good person, I would raise my children knowing God and that we would raise our children in God's name. Last year, I changed my prayer, I told God that I was angry with Him and I did not want to be angry with Him. I prayed for His Grace, I prayed for Peace, Wisdom and understanding. I photograph expecting moms and newborns all the time, and in past it killed me inside, but now I have found peace.
She's not blowing a whistle. She's just educating. I don't think people are wrong or right for doing this. However, I don't think we should be interrupting natures course. Help women find the root cause of their infertility.
I've is the only treatment for some causes of infertility. Most women (including me)tried other treatments first. I had polycystic ovaries .

Speaking as an infertile woman: we need to re-teach people that some things just need to be accepted and come to terms with. "You can't always get what you want". Surrogacy and IVF are ethically WRONG for many reasons, just like abortion, but the root of all is selfishness. I want this, so I have a RIGHT to it. No, you don't, not if another human being is involved. A child isn't merchandise, not something you buy or discard as you see fit.
This topic is always very interesting to me. I always love babies and watched Tlc baby stories. Sad they ended all of that. I always wanted to be a mom and wanted to have my own children and maybe adopt. So it’s probably no surprise that I became a newborn photographer because I just love babies. When my husband and I got married 4 month later I was pregnant and then had my first miscarriage and it when then happen 3 more times. I went through times of loss and then not getting pregnant at all over the next 2 years. It was hard! I was always so jealous of those who would get pregnant the first time and then be able to have their first pregnancy lead to a viable baby. I had so much testing and felt the doctors didn’t care. We ended up moving and I went to a different fertility doctor and found i wasn’t always ovulating. So then went on clomid and the second time around had a positive test and the doctor put me on progesterone. I think that is what helped me keep my baby and actually now have an almost 10 year old. I was told I had unexplained infertility and never once did they bring up IVF. So it is interesting how much that is pushed now. But who knows the first doctors didn’t listen at all to me and had no care.
I love the medical talk of it all. I love how she is an advocate for getting to the root problem. The endocrine system is soo important. Hormones and that potassium sodium pump play such a huge role too
I just turned 30 years old. We have been trying for about 2 years. I’m devastated every day. One failed IUI cycle and I have always felt conflicted about IVF. I don’t know what’s right. I’m hoping we have a successful IUI on our next cycle. I pray for every girl out here who wants to be a mom but her body won’t let her.
I would’ve loved if you were able to talk about the common endocrine disruptors found in every day products that many of us are unaware of. Basically, in all scented items, these endocrine disruptors really mess with fertility and women and it’s not talked about enough. Really enjoyed. This conversation would have loved a follow up with some of our questions.
Not everyone is aware of this, and they need to be! All of the scented stuff that are in all womens products (tampons too) contribute heavily to infertility.

It’s easy to judge when you’re not in the midst of infertility nor have ever been through infertility. This is hurtful to any woman struggling with closed tubes and have no other option to be pregnant.
No one is judging. She’s an OBGYN who shared scientific facts.
Sometimes the truth hurts. But it still must be dealt with. The truth is this industry is not ethical and Christians have no business supporting it. It is what it is.
And I shouldn’t have to be since it’s just the truth, but I’m saying this as someone who can’t have kids and is having to walk with God in that myself.
I am on year 6 of infertility, and I don’t feel judged AT ALL. And I’m so grateful for doctors like her speaking out. The hard truth is I’m not owed a biological child. IVF is not the only option. There is adoption, there is fostering, and there are other ways to be maternal in the world.

We got to accept reality and truth no matter our situation i dealth.with fertility issues and miscarriages and etc but we have to stop taking it personal this is the.reality of this process. People need to know the.truth they making money off our problems .
It took me six years to get my daughter here. I did not do IVF but it was an emotional hell until I gave it to God and kept focusing on improving myself while I waited. Once I got pregnant I was able to realize the path that I had to walk before my babies could get to me.
I worked at an infertility clinic for 7 years and everything this doctor explained is very accurate. There’s a lot of emotional, psychological and financial stress that affects many couples in order to become partners. And don’t get me started in egg, sperm donors and surrogacy. That’s another whole conversation.
My husband has male related infertility. God used IVF to bless my husband and I with a son called Zachariah. God chose his name.
And that is a blessing. We are referring to the babies that the parents of ivf choose to freeze, donate to science and destroy 😢. And I’m grateful for the IvF parents that freeze, donate to adopt. However these families and babies are only told the year, ethnicity of the parents and how many years they have been frozen. Imagine the blessing that they get to know their family and medical stuff if it comes up in the future. And they will if they want to pay for genetic testing. Then they know their living blood relatives to connect with if they choose.

This is cruel. As a Christian, there are some people who physically can’t have kids (in our case my husband was born with autoimmune disease that physically didn’t allow him to release sperm). IVF was our way and even then, GOD STILL HAS THE FINAL WORD!
The positive that I took from this is that more attention needs to be paid to underlying factors.
If it is in Gods will to have a child you would. Taking things into your own hands is like playing god. Look at Sarah she was in her 100s in age and he blessed her, look at Hannah, she was blessed with Samuel. By Gods grace and through prayer and a relationship with him. He knows your heart and needs and want to bless you, there’s no need to take things into your own will. What little faith. And he puts things into our lives that maybe we might not want , but need or so when we overcome it we can live in testimony of his glory.

As someone that’s been able to have babies without intervention, I will never judge anyone in how they need to get their family.
While I personally love to hear different sides of this, I will never judge or blame a woman who does whatever it takes to get her babies here. In fact, it’s so admirable what they go thru with Ivf to get pregnant. Such a sacrifice!
My dr says grading is a beauty contest. They will transfer any grade. They also don’t push pgt testing. Ivf is how my babies got here, I’m 17 weeks pregnant with my fourth, three are from ivf. Be kind to others and don’t judge.
She’s talking about mosaic, where “abnormal “ embryos turn normal. The abnormal cells go to the placenta and the baby can be completely healthy.
Exactly. I haven’t even watched the whole thing and there’s nothing unbiblical of doing ivf without pgt testing and without discarding them. The industry is morally corrupt but that doesn’t mean every doctor and patient is. My doctor prays for me during transfers.

It's so disheartening how judgmental Christians have become in this space. After years of infertility, and yes, trying natural treatment, my husband and I decided to do IVF. I had a very close friend say she could no longer be my friend because my children were " outside the will of God." We have not tested our embryos, will not discard any of them, and will give them all a chance at life. I am currently 32 weeks pregnant with my miracle girl and I wouldn't change a THING. I"m so grateful and thankful the Lord has given us the resource of IVF. HE knit my babies together, no doctor could EVER do that. HE is the one that gives life and takes it away. Jesus wasn't a " natural" conception either. It's so funny to me that all these same people are all for adoption embryo's, but if they're your own children you're somehow demonized because how dare you be so selfish to want your own biological children? How selfish to think you deserve that? You can absolutely do IVF in a moral, God honoring way. My children are no less valuable, no less created by the God of the universe because we needed help. And not all men look at the seedy material in the rooms to get a sample. My husband looked at pictures of ME. Anyway, sorry for my ramble, but it's so uplifting to see another comment of someone who has been blessed through the miracle of what IVF CAN be. God bless you and your beautiful new baby!

God is Sovereign He opens and closes the womb it’s always best to make decisions with Him and to involve Him in every detail of our lives because He truly cares and wants to be apart of it 😊❤
IVF is playing God. That alone means we shouldn't be doing this! If you are meant to be blessed with a child, you will become pregnant the way God intended and have a baby. Period. End of discussion. Some people are not meant to be parents, and that's okay! God has chosen another path for them ❤
Then so is using contraceptives or using things like a ventilator, anything that is life extending and not natural. Where does a person draw the line?
Do you use this same logic when it comes to adoption? What about embryo adoption? If you use medicine then it's playing God?
@@SlowLivingHomestead yup I do use that same logic with embryo adoption. I'm not saying medication is playing God. You need to do some more research about IVF and how evil it is.
Adoption easily makes people parents. The Lord tells us takings cate of orphans, which is an obvious way for people who suffer through infertility to be parents and do God’s will ❤
It is playing God, and the people who get mad at Allie Beth? People whose children were these lab created people. It is like doing an end run around truth. Every woman I know who did IVF just happened to end up with breast cancer. Are they told that is possible?
The best person I know adopted four siblings whose - as they call them - first parents - were tragically killed in a car accident. She and her husband could not love those great kids any more. So many children need homes, so many lost to abortion.
25 years ago when I was a young mother of a BEAUTIFUL daughter with Down Syndrome I was blessed to have the Geneticist I did. He encouraged me over and over to all the positive possibilities ahead for us and provided me with valuable resources to encourage and help me, and welcomed her birth to this world like any other birth full of potential and happiness. Being new to the world of untypical children I didn’t know what to expect. Everything he and her pediatrician predicted was correct but beyond measure. Our family has been truly blessed. ❤ IVF facilities are doing a grave disservice to our world by playing God.
I'm a firm believer that God will open your womb when He pleases. That's if He decides to do so. If not, maybe you were meant to take care of the fatherless? I personally dont think God intended us running to IVF..
We really don't teach God's word or believe it.

@@MissRegionRat I don't think you need it to get it opened. Regardless, children are a blessing. God gives the breath either way! I've known people who were told they'll never have children after praying and waiting. But, to each their own. As long as you instruct them in the Lord. That's all that matters.
@@MissRegionRat congrats! My second also is an ivf baby! I prayed earnestly for four years on what path the lord wanted me to take and ivf was continuously presented. I grew faith and compassion during those trials. I will never again assume anything about others. Having gone through a years long battle - no one knows what others are going through.

"I would love to never have another cervical check in my life." Amen, Allie. There are so many better ways to monitor labor, and I think hospital staff dismiss the impact of what they do. It's wayyyy past time for women to say no to unnecessary intervention.
80% of OB-gyns are women. If such checks were unnecessary, wouldn't they know that? Why would they do that for no good reason? They don't get paid more for doing it.
I had a uterine biopsy and the pain was no more than cramps but afterward I felt so sick. I couldn't leave the doctor's office. I threw up, had a bowel movement in the bathroom and almost fainted. This was all due to being anemic from heavy periods. I needed iron infusions. My periods have stopped and my red blood cell count is good. I don't want to have another uterine biopsy!! I have that choice.
I am infertile and fine with it.
OB is dominated by women, if it were unnecessary, why would they do that? Do

We live in a world where it is normalised and even encouraged to have kids without the marital act and to perform the marital act without being open to kids. We have completed separated sex and kids and it’s appropriate design by God. Thank God for the bioethics teachings of the Catholic Church.
I almost became Catholic once. Ethic was a big part of it. Evangelicals believe the same things, but lack the ethical framework to support why they believe that way.

I know a couple who could never have children: my aunt and uncle. They married young, and tried to have kids multiple times, and each time it was a miscarriage. They gave up and decided to leave it to God. They’re in their late forties with no kids. However, maybe God had a different purpose for them. My aunt is the kindest person and always reminded me of Miss Honey from Matilda. Any child would love her. She became a nanny for many children and I’m sure those kids needed HER in their lives. She must have brought so much joy and love to many kids’ lives. She was also actively involved with raising one of her nieces (my cousin), who was so lucky to have her in her life.(she didn’t assist raising my cousin bc my cousin needed it. My cousin has married parents who provide her with everything. My aunt just loves kids and chose to always be there for my cousin and also take care of her.) I haven’t seen my aunt in over a decade, but I still have the kindness she gave me in my heart. It’s possible that HER purpose was not to be a mother but to bring something else to the world. We’ll never know for sure, but she never had her own children and many other children not her own benefited greatly from that. So make of that what you will.
Wonderful episode. Very informative and helpful to get a credentialed professionals take. What I will say though is, I had my son (second born) with the help of IUI (interuterine insemination) A procedure where my husband's sperm was placed in my uterus via a needle because his sperm count had not only dropped, but also became very lazy over the years. This is a procedure that can only be done at a fertility clinics. And my experience there was wonderful. The staff where very welcoming and knowledgeable. Nobody pushed me to do anything I wasn't comfortable with. Everything was explained in great detail and I never felt pressured or mishandled in anyway. Now this isn't to discredit anyone else's experience. I truly feel for the women who have gone to such clinics and were made to feel like just number. But I just want to say that not every clinic is the same, and there are doctors that do care and really want to aid in your ability to have a family and will respect your boundaries. I think it's great that more doctors are speaking out with more natural/holistic ways to help with conceiving and I pray that all the couples struggling with this are given peace and hope ultimately the family they are continuing to strive for.

It's a reflection of themselves. Padre God's Word for me is very complex & NOT as clear as some ppl state & its ok. Praise Padre God for encouraging me/us for HIS understanding & HIS timing. I pray for this daily & I'm so at peace with this. I'm not sure how you feel about Padre God's word in that IF it's complex to you or not. You know what would be great if all the Dr's like her were listed in every state. This way we can know where in our state we can go instead of traveling all the way to Cali or somewhere too far. I would still do it but we all know there are some who can't. And I am sure all this is going to cost enough without state travel. We need more Dr's that think like her and really like the other Dr's Allie has on her show.

There is a list of NaPro doctors in every state on the NaPro technology website or the St. Paul VI institute. NaPro Technology Medical consultants/surgeons and FEMM trained doctors both practice restorative reproductive medicine and there are lists of them. I’m sure there are also others outside of those specialties, but those are excellent places to start.

Acupuncture is Not about balancing chakras. Chinese medicine divides your bodies into meridians and it has to do with blood flow, and nerves. Some are too quick to cry occult if they don't understand something.
If you're descended from Europe you should focus on your own people's medicine.
