Hey Jeff..... You always do such a great job in such a confined space.....no bike ramp and no special tooling..... if you had the space you would be churning out top class restorations every other week...... well done Sir!
Hi Adam, I have two problems, space and limited time. I haven't had a chance to get anything done this week, due to work. I like to get a few things prepared for the day I film. Unfortunately the wife is off for a month and before I get chance to sit down in the shed for 2 minutes, I can hear the name Jeff calling from indoors. I have told her to have a rest as I will have to help her when I'm on holiday next week. Hopefully she will stay round her friends on Monday when I'm off. Take care, Jeff
Thanks very much Martin. The inspection is a bit of a pain, but at least it will be better once finished. Not looking forward to doing the keys, but at least I have three spares if I mess it up. Take care, Jeff
Hi Jeff You are doing a lovely job on this bike can you always find parts for these old bikes your videos are great to watch everything is clear to see thanks for the videos Jeff 😂 Phil in stoke
Hi Phil and thank you very much. My biggest problem at the moment is time. Just on the last day of working six. I have three days off from Monday, unfortunately the wife has got decorating lined up for me. I have asked her to leave me alone tomorrow though. Take care, Jeff
Hi Jeff, hope your well, The Velosolex coming a long well ,it can be fiddly job fitting bearings the paint work looks good and with that BP can on the side it's going to look a great bike. Keep up the good work ,catch you soon Take care
Hi Shaun and thank you. Once again time is my enemy at the moment. One more day to go and I am off for three days. Unfortunately the wife is off from work for a month and she has a load of decorating for me to do. I am hoping she will give me a break on Monday to get some filming done. I have you are well. Take care, Jeff
Hi Jeff. Great job on polishing up the crank Arms. Do you apply a lacquer after polishing to stop any corrosion in the future or should the polished surface last? Thanks.
Hi Martin, usually with polishing nuts and bolts and things like the pedal cranks I put a thin coating of ACF 50 on. If I try and polish chrome then I would generally put a coating of lacquer. Take care, Jeff
@@martincox8250 Thanks Martin, yes I do love ACF 50. A few months ago I had to strip down my Peugeot Django, so the first chance I got to get to it's frame, I ACF 50'd Thanks for watching. Take care, Jeff
