She has a splendid interpretation-wonderful and joyous like I have never heard. She gives so much to this piece feeling love for the depth of this concerto with subtle sensitivity in musicality, she gives so much to this piece.
I used to listen to this concerto when I was young on one of the first CD player made by Sony called Discman. Watching and listening to this again for the first time in a very long time made me cry.. it is so wonderful, can't describe what wonderful times we're living in.
Been told Jansen performed at Concertgebouw with Gergiev in 2018 - piece not known. Of interest? Cavalcanti can find it? Perhaps. Like this post very much. Data about it is scarce. Thank you very much as always for a wonderful post. Marvellousl, musical, dramatic. The air of mystery that surrounds the details of Janine Jansen's life seems to make Jansen an appropriate target for Carlisson Cavalcanti - with 207 subscribers, he is a niche subscriber who chooses worthwhile music to post. Cavalcanti seems to have "a pipeline to the factory" for his posts. Listening is certainly enough. I look forward to more.👍
Dutch violin virtuoso Janine Jansen performing Bruch’s Violin Concerto No. 1 in G Minor - with conductor Daniele Gatti and the Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra. Recorded live on the 11th of January, 2018 - at the Concertgebouw in Amsterdam.
Sergio Asahel Dávila Arroyo I’m a music snob I only buy her albums since discovering her I even prefer her over Perlman 😱😱 don’t tell him I said that 😂😂
@@classicalconcerto6742 Good. While we're at it perhaps you can help me understand why Lalo's Symphonie Espagnole is not part of the "standard repertory" for the big name violinists.
@@nealbaker7991 I think it's a matter of collective preference from the classical music community, both players and audience included, and it does not make too much sense to debate why not this and that. In addition to those of the above, personally I like Bach and Paganini's violin concertos very much as well but it does not bother me at all they normally don't make to that short list.
Excelente interpretación de esta célebre composición musical. Cuando se juntan exquisitas orquestas como esta de los Países Bajos con violinistas de la categoría de Janine Jansen el resultado final no puede ser otro que una autentica JOYA MUSICAL. BRAVO !!!! Saludos desde España.
Music gives meaning to sound, from meaning to sound, is born emotion. The Violin Concerto No. 1 in G minor, Op. 26, is admired above all for its lyrical melodies, which were reflected in almost the full range of the instrument. The work was premiered with virtuoso violinist Joseph Joachim as soloist. The piece is not only Bruch's best known, but one of the most frequently performed of all violin concertos. The first movement of the sonata-like work « Prelude: allegro moderato » features the violinist performing impassioned solo passages alternating with a more solidly rhythmic, but sometimes ardent, orchestral voice. The second movement « Adagio » features three sentimental themes, which are explored and developed fairly equal through the solo and orchestral parts. The third movement fiery « Finale: allegro energico » is largely based on a vibrant theme that features a folk dance. The Violin Concerto has become a perennial favorite with audiences, to the detriment of Max Bruch. All my gratitude to this great violinist Janine Jansen for her execution because who seeks perfection finds excellence. *Lucien*
poor Janine! to accompany her in the Bruch concert she finds only insensitive conductors: Noseda, Gatti... every now and then in the orchestra it seems to hear Wagner, and also played badly...
I Love every single rendition of Janine Jansen! She´s so Beautiful and TALENTED Lady!!! Lady JANINE JANSEN!!! The Queen of Violin!

El director enfadado , y con razón con las puñeteras toses entre los movimientos II y III . Hay gente que va a los conciertos a aburrirse.
