Gosh, I never watch late night show interviews, but I loved Ramy S1 & 2 SOO SO MUCH and now I just finished E2 of S3 AND I T JUST KEEPS BLOWING MY MIND!!! EVERYONE NEEDS TO WATCH THIS SHOW!!! Absolutely brilliant
No, it's a good idea to play a character with your name in your first breakout show. Because if you get famous from that show, from then on, EVERYONE will call you by that character's name. It's what you'll hear yelled on the street, it's what people will call you when they run into you at the market. You want strangers to call you Flapdoodle or would you rather they called you by your name? It's always good to look ahead!
"Christmas Industrial Complex", lol! While I grew up in a fundamentalist christian house, we did not celebrate Santa at all either. It was all baby Jesus, all the time, haha. All of us were told as early as possible that Santa was a story, and presents came from parents and relatives. And then we were sworn to secrecy not to tell our friends at school.
He is a virtuoso of cringe comedy. I will literally writhe in my chair sometimes and have to hit pause, but eventually I hit play again. Omg, the awkwardness.
I love this dude.. he’s witty and funny… his comments on The president and Santa really resonated with me! I never understood and will never understand This big lie to children 🙈
My kids aren’t “Christmasless” but we never did the whole Santa Claus thing. We told them all from the get go that Santa isn’t real and they thoroughly enjoy knowing this big grownup secret too. 😂
Ramy grew up among Italian Americans and loves them. He has said so publicly. Too bad he didn't challenge Seth about HIS total disdain for Italian Americans--his constant mockery. Seth doesn't mock Islam or Arab Americans, though, nor should he. But therein lies the hypocrisy. People who think media or Hollywood aren't anti-Italian need to wake up.
Really? Interesting! I was born Muslim then stopped being one (so hard, my name is Islam!). I watched the show after i stopped being a Muslim and I felt bad for him because not worrying about what's allowed and not allowed in Islam is liberating. Especially if your moral compass is always on, you don't need spirituality.
@@islamKarkit's interesting how Islam is so liberating for me. Restrictions will always exist, but to know I don't need to please people and only my creator makes me feel at peace ❤
I was one of the very first to wear a mask (that I saw) on my town. Didn't help that I had influenza A and I was only going out to an urgent care and the pharmacy. Then all the toilet paper was bought up while I was stuck at home in bed.
This is the worst Arabian actor on earth.... This is stupid.... Our identity an religion is the opposite of all what is saying and acting... حسبي الله و نعم الوكيل في هاذا الامعا
Islam is perfect, and I 100% agree that this is not how Muslims act, however this show highlights the hypocrisy and how modern Muslims actually are in real life in this modern day with how they are perceived by people without knowledge and and how some lack knowledge and do dumb things in the way to practice Islam and it’s funny for people who are Muslim . the show is a comedy making fun of how Muslims today are with Islam
Completely agree. As a Muslim born and raised I the West, the show is a disgrace and an insult. Yes, we have our struggles, but the lack of haya and the portrayal of Muslims being spineless sheep trying to be as westernised as possible, looking like absolute idiots in the process is disgusting. He is spreading corruption and should really have a good look at the damage he is doing. This is not 'representation'. This is a desperate individual selling out our faith and culture for popularity and this dunya. Shame.
@@Criticalthinker605 Ramy is portraying his own personal experiences authentically and the internal conflict he often feels being from two different cultures with frequent opposing social and religious values ! Get over yourself!
@@anashatrab2845 Bahahaha. There is nothing authentic about this. In Islam we know iman increases and decreases. We know we are sinners. However the needs of the community trump those of the individual. And exposing those sins when God tells us otherwise is detrimental. By normalising those things that are otherwise considered anti-social in Islam, harm is done to the community. Furthermore, yes maybe about 5% is actually based on personal experience however he has portrayed himself as a walking STD, mocking the rules of marriage and divorce, willing to draw the Prophet at the command of an Israeli, surrounded by dodgy Arabs. Yer no. If he truly wanted or needed help with spirituality or his 'experiences' he could easily seek the advice of those leaders familiar with the Islamic sciences, marriage, divorce and other behaviours that he may be having issues with. Creating a show that is bowing to the ever changing morals and norms of the 'woke' crew is just a desperate attempt at fame and he is selling his Islam in the process.
His comedic timing is fire. And he’s such a cutie
I loved this interview! Ramy and Seth's chemistry was such an good equally appreciative friend hang vibe. So lovely!
Season 3 was amazing! I feel like more people should watch his show. The storytelling and the cinematography… ughhhh…. Way too good.
It was SO GOOD and the ending was beautiful 😭😭😭 excellent writing and cinematography 👌🏿👌🏿
I agree! I tell EVERYONE about this show! It’s so underrated!!
The last scene of S3's last episode was so amazing.
Absolutely agree with u! Ramy series more getting better with all things that they have
Incredible tv series. The final scene was outstanding and very touching
Ramy is so witty with great comedic timing in real life.
He's got the Egyptian Uncle vibe down to a tee!
Ramy’s sister used to be a co-worker at my old job. She left in March of 2019 and I didn’t see her again until the 2020 Emmys telecast.
I adore his smileee❤

Thank you for speaking out about the Christmas-Industrial Complex!!!!!
He's really multifaceted multilayered, so refreshing to hear him talk, so much juice in everything he says.
Totally underrated show.
I love how he walks
Amazing show sends a true message

Will Smith did that.
Will Smith said that
I was in agreement until flapdoodle
Fleabag!
Probably doesnt want strangers to know his name at all?
"dimly lit family" :D That's how my family was growing up and now that kids out of the house, my dad has 15+ lamps in his living room.
When you get older and you eventually wise up and see the light you literally need to see more light.
😅
I've been waiting for a new seasonnnn!!
Here.
I waited here. The whole time.
I find this man very attractive.
And the way he walks so casual so hot
Season 3 was fantastic. The show is really good.
he's so cool, i might watch ramy now

When did you find out they lied about that too?
How Ramy manages great content for 3 seasons wow!❤ amazing series
This show is a literal spiritual trip. It hit me as if I was on Mushrooms. And I was sober.
That’s a shockingly accurate way to describe it.
Hell yes. I'm a Muslim myself but was hardly aware of this spiritual dimension of my faith
His outfit is giving uncle vibes
Why is he dressed like the uncle who pops up randomly asking for Miscellaneous items in your house
He has such casual vibes and then always blows me away with his comedic timing. Makes it look effortless
It’s the hipster aesthetic.
His clothes make him look like the kind of guy who’d use the same modifier twice in four words.
“Hey can I borrow your cylindrical cheese grater?”
Aren’t you lactose intolerant?
“Oh it’s not for cheese, also a shower curtain?”
Quiet quitting
Two seasons of quality and insanity. Season 3, here we come!
He is a virtuoso of cringe comedy. I will literally writhe in my chair sometimes and have to hit pause, but eventually I hit play again. Omg, the awkwardness.
in high school ramy wrote a song called “santa doesn’t care about me” it was really funny and i’m said he removed it from youtube.
Ramy looks great That beard mustache shape and outfit is really working for him!
Best show ever. A show that really talks about what it's like to be religious and still normal and how that fucks you up. Also SOOOO FUNNY
So... we not gonna mention how hot this guy is? He's like naturally flirting without actually flirting. Keep him away from me
I need that show on Netflix asap
Season 3 was excellent. Brilliant guy.
He's smart and cute! 💜
First time seeing this guy but I wanna be best friends already lol
When I got older and learned how involved capitalism is into holidays my mind literally melted.
I was the guy in the supermarket b4 everyone and I remember people looking at me jus like that lol
Two cool dudes. 😊
The switch up when he says And then 2 weeks later.. Makes me laugh everytime
Best show on TV.
He is so funny! Season show was great. Way to go Ramy
These two! ❤
Never heard of him till now, seems funny!

MY FAVESSSS
is it finished now? it felt like a closure with the longer final episode? Will there be a season 4?
This guy is so young, I laughed when he talked about Clinton and Guantanamo!
nice interview
Anyone else notice his hat? Lol sneaky sneaky!
That's from the show, not a real place when I looked it up. But no I didn't even notice it.
2:08 Is that Wally's laugh I can hear?
Ramy ❤
The truth? Wait... What lies about Santa?
What happened to Santa?
I just saw him at a mall like, last year...
WHAT HAPPENED TO SANTA!?!?!
You didnt hear about the War on Christmas? 😓

It not scary like the media brainwashed millions to believe. Clean living is one major factor attracts a lot of people

This interview was so much better than the other talkshow hosts. Especially Ellen Degeneracy and Bill Maher ew.
I was one of the very first to wear a mask (that I saw) on my town. Didn't help that I had influenza A and I was only going out to an urgent care and the pharmacy. Then all the toilet paper was bought up while I was stuck at home in bed.
he's so cute wtf
And then 2 weeks later...
He made the same “mistake” as Issa Rae haha
everyone go watch!!
Santa is not a lie!
ramy
Beard was / is the winner

Def needs the beard back tho
i love ramy!!!
They should make a show like Ramy but with Moroccan woman called fati fleur but make it not insult islam
Do you think Ramy insulted Islam? How?
What a dumb thing to say
@@AliHussain-fz7pd i've kind of come around to it a little bit, but some of the moments were a little bit cringe. Mo was better

Is dressing like a senior citizen in now? Lol
🇮🇷❤🇮🇷😁
First.
We don't need a season 4. Season 3 was crap to be honest

Yo the outfit is real bad 👎 😩 😫
Guess he is not being paid enough to buy some grown up clothing. He looked like a transient.
he talks a lot but no substance
The series sucks and he should regret that first!
Hmmm, thats strange. I thought it was brilliant! Not perfect, but brilliant still.
Can’t believe this is a show still lol. So bad
Christmaslessness. Brilliant Ramy!
OMG SETH KEEPS SAYING ROMNEY OMG
He doesn't. But you keep hearing it. It's on you.
CORRECTION: WAS SETH SAYING "ROMNEY"?!?!?!?!? I swear to god he was calling his show and him Romney, not Ramy. lol
No, he was saying Ramy but the 'a' was pronounced very much like an open- mid back rounded vowel for some reason.
