Enjoyed your video. One day l hope to visit Sydney. I want to scuba dive in the Great Barrier Reef. Thank you for taking me along on your video. Lee Crolley, lll Lexington, S.C.
great review. just found business reward availability for the end of May, so excited. Also got lucky with availability from Syd-sfo on united Polaris with velocity too. keen as a bean!
@@pcavi great timing haha, I just flew Polaris for the first time (first time on business too) on Tuesday. it was lovely! service was average nothing exceptional but no complaints. looking forward to the return leg.
@@pcavi food was okay. No complaints there. Mid flight menu was lacking. I saw the menu on your video and QF menu is much better. My return leg back home to Sydney was meant to be on a qf12 a380 business but I had to change my return date by one date…and that date happened to have only AA/UA so I just stuck with UA. Still happy tho, better than economy
Qantas did a great job on the refurbish. I really like the look of the lounge and First Class. Always wanted to try Qantas. One of my bucket list items.
Avoid it for now. It's gotten what we call a "Shonky" award, for products or business that are the worst of the worst. They are no longer the Spirit of Australia. Our current CEO is a horrible, woke, virtue signally man who rather pad his pockets than return to Qantas' greatness. Hopefully it comes back soon.
@@Audios81 that sucks! I worked for Boeing in 2006-2009 on the 737 line. When a Qantas bird was on the line, they had their own employees standing by to ensure the work was done properly. They were some of the coolest guys ever. They were down to earth, and just the kind of guys you could talk to. Most other airline acceptance crews tend to be snobby and crabby. I am saddened to hear this. You know, eventually karma will catch up with a bad CEO. Wishing the best for them. It's still on my bucket list, and probably another 10 years away before I can make the hop across the pond. Hopefully by then things will be better.
@@pcavi that's too bad. It looks great! But then again, here in the US, we got Spirit and some crappy other US Airlines that thinks a bag of pretzels and a bottle of water in first class was acceptable. I dream of flying on the Qantas A380. I flew out of LAX every single day, and would slobber on takeoff catching video of their 380 over near the maintenance hangar.
@puercaeli-aviation not just bad press. 4 mechanical issues, major enough to have 4 flights turned back, in thr last 4 days. The little leprechaun, Alan Joyce has destroyed Qantas. Look him up, he's flown more than one airline into the trash.
Unfortunately, you won't get the lounge or equivalent in other aircraft. The A380 has a section that Airlines struggle to know what to do with. Qantas and Etihad have the lounge. Etihad also tried the residence. Emirates went for the shower.
Thanks for showing I'm hoping to do QF2 business class next year myself. How did you find the new seat was it comfortable? The help yourself fridge didn't look well stocked either.
Seat itself is not amazing but the mattress cover goes long way to make it a comfortable seat. Seat itself is a bit limited in terms of width and footwell. Yes I think Qantas is still saving money where it can like with non-essential catering items like self-serve bar
I havent really noticed it - if anything galley noise was more than toilet noise. But I was wearing noise cancelling earphone most of times. Smell I did not really notice for sure

I heard United Polaris was good, I wish I can try one day

@@Hi_its_Kartik Oh service being average does not sound surprising for United... how was the food?

Thumbs-up👍absolute awesome flight report here!,that dinner and breakfast looked yummy too!
Thank you very much!
The door is very heavy that's why it has electrical control on the left side of the door. You will see it if you look closer
Thanks for the report. Do you know when they will receive the project sunrise A350?
Glad you enjoyed it - I think 2024-5?
@@pcavi Not sure when they will have that ready but for sure I am ready to try it.

It had bad press recently but I think it still has got good fundamentals

Have seen years ago Kevin Rudd..on a flight to L A.....he was doing paper work all the way...he was busy as......
Not as busy as him! Thankfully
Everyone talks about doing “work” when they fly business or first class. I think that is a total crock. No one is working
I did do bit of work :)
True
@@pcavi For about 20 minutes, and then you enjoy the experience of business class.
Boozing more like!!!!

I know Virgin Atlantic has a small lounge section on their A350 and even ?A330 neo, I think this is a nice touch
The quality of your videos continue to rise. Sky high 😊

@@pcavi Thanks mind you depends how busy it was when you flew. LHR to SYD always seems to be packed out apparently.
Hi, i noticed U were in row 15. Was there any noise/smell from the toilet?

Why at the lounge we can't watch TV anymore? That's a little upsetting.
It is a bit ridiculous - can’t even have a flight map. May be there is a secret controller somewhere
@@pcavi I really wish that Qantas fixes this. I mean seriously, why would the TV remote around us not be used to operate the TV screen?
Great video! Do they still give you pajamas?
Yes they do - but food seems to be going down hill based on my more recent flight
2:12 Actually you showed us how "_quiet_" the A380 literally is!!!!!!
Nice work!
Thanks!
Wonderful ! 👍
Thank you! Cheers!
Business Cabin Lokks Great.Great work
Thank you
Not my cup of tea. Emirates still is the best.
Hard to beat them - Still havent had chance to try them. One day
