Having flown with Qantas for the past thirty years, our most recent trip on a 11 .45 pm departure ex Singapore was a major downer when it came to the breakfast flying over Australia: it was a meagre performance with no choice, no table cloth. Having offered to pre order her breakfast to the FA shortly after take off, she was informed that breakfast would be from the cart. Having had dinner in the lounge, she did not relish the supper. So, not wishing to eat the yoghurt, muesli or the egg brioche , she was offered no alternative in the morning. For a platinum QFF, flying in Y it was the last straw. Yes, the seat is OK, but the FAs are not supported by management who are screwing the paying , loyal customers in this case for the last time.
This is so exciting to watch. Off on a round trip to Poland in 2 weeks. Qantas and code share Emirates on the way back. Making the most of my short lived Platinum card and can get into First lounges. Applied for upgrade to First on the Singapore to London leg. We’ve been granted this twice before. Thank you for making such an inspiring video. 👏🇦🇺
great trip report. The seat is amazing, but they've certainly cut back on the meal service offering, smaller portions, no table cloth, no hot towel. You receive more food on Emirates economy.! I read they're improving the meal offering in the future, here's hoping!
Thank you for your comment ! You have got a point ! I flew both emirates and Qantas in business class and i would say that Emirates does offer a better service in terms of food !
Bus class Perth to Glasgow , me and the wife $40k, this is obscene, I am pretty well off but refuse to pay this, I can buy a car for this, I also found that the service on airlines has crashed, Business Class should now be renamed upper class
$40 000 ?? That's minimum for a first-class flight men. But honestly, for less than half the price, you can fly better airlines with a stop like Qatar Airways Q-suite, Singapore Airlines or Turkish @@theend9494
That funereal "welcome onboard" at 3:00 and the quality of the food are just some of the many reasons why it's wise to avoid the red roo like the plague if you can..
I’m not sure but I think that QF2 out of LHR precedes this flight, ie this is a continuation from SIN to SYD and the second ‘dinner’ service is more of a light meal rather than the full service you might have been expecting. Try London to Singapore for the full dinner menu!
The meals look fine to me. Travelled Qantas Business many times and the food hits the spot. I love Qantas. My Dad’s very first job was with this airline.
I Love Fly On The A380 Most Passenger Frendly AirCaft In The World.Great Trip Report
Qantas the best of the best

Thanks for watching and sharing your comments. Have a nice trip and enjoy. Safe travels ❤️
Great video. Thanks for sharing. QF seems a better biz class product than what I expected. I will definitely try them on my next trip down under.
Fly Emirates instead - wayyyy better
Oh wow, you got pajamas for the SIN-SYD leg? Surprised given the flight is not that long.
Indeed I got. Great experience !
@@inflighttravel5304 I just flew QF2 day before and got them too! Such a classic design :)

that is for 2 people as I said, and Qatar and others are similar :(@@inflighttravel5304
Who needs copious food in flight when we can fill up in the Business lounge?
Business class on the A380 is next level, i've done it a few times it's so much better and quieter
As an Aussie the woeful food and beverage and service on QF these days is humiliating.
That funereal "welcome onboard" at 3:00 and the quality of the food are just some of the many reasons why it's wise to avoid the red roo like the plague if you can..
Totally disagree. This opinion is the minority. Qantas has looked after me for over half a decade.
Seat looks okay for business class but the meals are definitely not worthy of business class.
Qantas meals are horrible, definitely not premium at all
I would say that the only thing Qantas should improve in business class is their meal quality.

To think they are associated with Emirates that defiantly does not feel like business class.
What is brand new about this lol
The food on offer is unacceptable for this class of travel.
Its a 7 hr flight. What do you expect. 6 course meal.
Disagree. Perhaps fill up in the Business Lounge?
