He's as close to Superman as one can get and could kill any of the others in seconds, without breaking a sweat. He knows it and they are very well aware of it too.
The Seven are not the strongest though. For example the Deep is weak, he can only swim fast and talk to fish, he's there just for marketing purpose. There are stroger heroes around i'd say

Homelander is basically indestructible, and his weakness is unknown, he's the most powerful and feared by all.. and the issue with Starlight saving the girl is it was not planned and not caught on their cameras, they must own all their footage cause they sell it to stations and control the narrative of their heroes, freelancing hurts, especially the seven.
Yeah, we got all that. We just took issue with that approach overall, but that is the point anyway, right? We are supposed to get mad at them because they are prioritizing all that stuff over actually saving people. Or that's at least how we are reacting to it 😅

I love that Sonny predicted that they would shove the bomb up Translucent's butt. I actually thought they made some kind of liquid explosive and mixed with the water. It's interesting to notice how crime in this world has basically been divided between relevant, "major" happenings, like hostage situations or possible terrorist attacks, and irrelevant, "low" situations, like robbery. Since the Supes are owned by a giant super-conglomerate, they're always going to do what's best for the company's interest. Honestly, that's exactly how it would happen in real life, and that's almost depressing to think about.

I haven't been hype by this episode as much as I have been for the first one, but it still going well. I have felt that same thing during it as I had felt seeing the Joker movie, you feel during the episode that Hughie get more and more under pressure and is about to snap, that reminds me another great actor in a lighter movie, the beginning of Me, Myself and Irene with the great Jim Carrey, terrific movie if you haven't seen it yet K&S. I think that was a good episode for people who are into Coen Brothers and Guy Ritchie's gangsters movies. I give a 6/10 to this one. Can't wait for the next! Take care you two

The Boys is a real refreshing change to an oversaturated superhero genre. It's a tight little story, wrapped in good characters and tied together with a black bow of comedy. Really satisfing season all around, hope you two enjoy it.

The death of translucent was the only unjustifiable thing really. No one ever showed any proof of him being as bad as the others. He was killed to save themselves.
It is a nice introductory episode - expanding on something we already know plus adding new things. Humour. Again a number of scenes where you are facing this dark, dark sense of humour. It is liberating to laugh at certain moments even if something is quite horrible. Frenchie. He is a very interesting character. In some way he is like a mixture between Amos and Alex from the Expanse. Homelander. It is almost worth watching the series because of this particular character and how he is played. There are things which could be written in a better way, but it is really hard to complain. Even a single gesture or a word is meaningful and adds more depth to the character or reveals something... hidden behind the mask of a Superman. I'll stop here - too many possible spoilers. Also if you are feeling badly there is no reason to force yourself to make a video in time, I am sure your followers will forgive a delay or two.
I always get so hyped to see them upload. I need to start watching shows like The Expanse so I can watch those videos that they also post. Would say in a world with super power people especially when like this I wouldn't say that crime rates would actually go skyrocketing all across the country considering that billions of dollars are being funneled into an even smaller group than they're being funneled into currently and whenever the majority of people in an area don't have enough resources for a decent place to live decent food and a little bit of entertainment with hopefully enough for some medical Care then you know that's when crime rates go skyrocketing.

I will not spoil anything but there are some things that the show is bad in explaining. One big thing is Vought is a multinational company. Homelander is a bit different from the comic but just realize he is messed up on a fundamental level that will show more and more. The Boys is all about the deconstruction of the superhero myth. The story should take us into questioning what is right and wrong. Hopefully they will keep the major themes of the comic. So far so good.
