This FJ60 Restoration Is All Business! Cummins Diesel, 80 Series Land Cruiser Chassis, Episode 83-2

Part two of Dirty Stancing. This episode features a purpose built FJ60 resto-mod on an 80 series chassis. This Restoration, back for round two, almost 3 decades after we did the engine conversion, is all business. The owner knows how he uses the rig, and we worked with him to enhance his use of the vehicle in every corner. This episode shows the vehicle, but if you didn't get to watch part one of this episode yet, it's worth a look. We go into detail on these 60/80 mashups (some call them 140s or 142s, but I think that's kinda dumb) that are so popular these days.

That’s because you actually drive your rig and use the batteries. Most of the time, they just sit and that’s the killer.

Another good video Jeremiah. I have a couple of questions for you. Have you ever heard of parabolic leaf springs? I've heard some companies in Australia and Europe have been putting them on old leaf sprung Land Cruisers and the drivers say the ride is as good as a coil sprung vehicle, but far cheaper than putting a 60 series body on a 80 series frame. Second question is what kind of power is the 4BT putting out? Thanks.

Question: kill switch on a 40 , would you open the primary 12 v to the distributor with a switch or use a replay?

A relay won’t be necessary for that.
