That's exactly the content I love - aimed at the solo PVE player - I'm not going to party up, and all of my ship choices have reflected that - nothing that relies on turrets or other players to help. The Pulse is definitely going in my Vanguard Harbinger. I had planned on a Ranger, but this looks sooooooo much better.
I've seen the Mirai Pulse in all sorts of crazy places. I've even seen them in the commons on New Babbage because they can fit in elevators.
So I'd take one on my Reclaimer. When people try to board and enter the hab deck via the rear elevator, they're met with a bike with a gatling laser, ready to mow them down!

great idea for solo, the nice thing about the Pulse is that now most any ship with cargo is now in play. Get the Corsair with a NURSA and a Pulse and magic can happen now

Same setup and I place a cargo box in the cargo hold in that dead space by the ship door for gear. :)
Have to go with the Corsair, you can fit a Medical Ursa in it too.
I'd like to cram the Miri Pulse into the Apollo when it arrives. It could be really useful for getting a medic to patients quickly in locations you can't fly directly to in a ship.
the ship should have drones that fetch patients though
Thanks for bringing this back into the light. Gonna get mine going again. I have been adding 1-2 of these Pulse'sto my Cutlass Red, with its short back. I also added it to the C8X Med.

Missile racks are (mostly, with some exceptions) named by slot size - number of missiles - size of missile. A 414 missile rack will go in a size 4 mount and have 1 size 4 missile. Assuming all mounts are the same type, you have a choice of: 4 size 4 missiles (414), 8 size 3 missiles( 423), 16 size 2 missiles (442)(my favorite), or 32 size 1 missiles (481).

For the most part this will be true except for Ship specific Missile launcher hardpoints. Some ships will have their own hardpoint for missiles which will normally not allow you to switch the size of the missiles and/or how many you can put on.
@@JaK_Winter2099 true, like the connies, or the ares' 13 size 3 missiles. Ares also get 2 size 5 missile racks, I like to use the 582s for 16 size 2 missiles

@@VoltKraken5555 Or 2 S5 Torpedoes to make the Ares even more of an Sub-Cap Hunter. two S5 followed by a volley (4) S3 ruin the day for bigger targets. (Inferno-Pilot - noone flys a ION anymore)
I am definitely saving up for a Vanguard Sentinel after this video! A pretty good combo I got is the freelancer max and a mirai pulse in it's cargo bay. Freelancer is very speedy and even as a base ship has neat weapons, and as for very high and extreme targets I was circling around asteroids and the dumb AI just crashes into them.
The Vanguard was exactly what came to my mind when I fist saw the Pulse. To be honest I was waiting for the Ranger to open some new gameplay to this long range fighter, but the Pulse came sooner.
Cram a couple pulse into an Avenger Titan would be a fun one. thanks for the insight! Now looking into picking up a Sentinel as it would be a very nice addition to my small but growing fleet. Keep the vids coming! 😃

the sentinel was the ship i learned how to fight in. i loved it because as a beginner it was forgiving as it can tank damage but not forfeit manueverability. Havent used it in ages but that will prob change again. they are great ships.
It's the Pulse and Nomad for me, perfect buddy's and great if there's some left over cargo around. I also managed to get it through the airlock of a Connie Taurus ;) with a bit of jittering but it survived!

You can actually fit several pulses in a titan so one is an easy fit :)

I love that the pulse can be shoved into the Pisces C8R! A respawn point and a ground vehicle!
The pulse is the perfect little starter vehicle. I really think its something that would fit well in a Zeus Mk2 MR for all three crew to go and zip out to take out targets!

Honestly, a great video. It helps that I'm a fan of the Vanguard series. It's good to know that the Pulse fits in the Vanguard. I'd like to cram the Pulse into my Nomad but not in the open cargo hold. I want to see if it fits in the habitation section.
I'd put a couple Pulse on the Cargo grid of a Nomad to act as a mini carrier on bounty hunting missions hang back and support with the Nomad while the hsrd to detect Pulses attack the targets. Plus if we find any loot would still have room for it on the Nomad's cargo grid.
I used to use a golf cart for my Avenger Titan, but now I love the pulse.

I have put my Mirai Pulse (with dominion paint)in my Drake Corsair along with my Drake Dragonfly Yellow Jacket and Dragonfly black.
Putting a Pulse and a Nursa in a Corsair sounds like an amazing combo.
The Vanguard Sentinel always was my daily ship before master modes. Now I using the Vanguard Harbinger, A DPS monster, with the Deabolt S5 on the nose, and all ballistic cannons.
Hey, out of curiosity, what changes in the Vanguard series in 3.23 made you change from a Sentinel to Harbinger? I've been trying to decide between Warden, Sentinel, Harbinger but all the info out there is outdated. I'd appreciate your insight as someone who moved to Harbinger.
@@trebiliciousi think the harbinger is a little bit more tankier with almost double the hp, can carry s5 torpedoes, and has s3 turret (the other variants have s2 turrets)
@@theyearoftherat but everything you've listed has always been the case even before Master Modes. I want to know what incentivized him to switch in this patch.
@@trebilicious I think the EMP died with master modes. I used a few times, with no visible result. Then, after using the other 3 Vanguard variants (Yes, i bought them all before the price increase), I liked most the Harbinger. Maybe is only my impression, but i feel it more sturdy, tankier... I feel like I'm piloting a flying fortress. Also, The torpedoes are great to incapacitate the scouts in Bounty Hunting contracts. And the S3 Turret is a plus, when Im flying with a friend.

I will be cramming the Pulse bike into my C1 as a 'surface vehicle' for when I need to park away from where I'm trying to get to :)
Fitting Pulse into Zeus ES. Exploration in flying bike seems more ideal to cover distance and tackling landscape challenges
I honestly love the pulse, I’d probably try and put it into my Ursa to see if fits, then I can say “I’ve got a ground vehicle in a ground vehicle”

I own the Sentinel and I’d run with the pulse in it. However, it would fit nicely in the small room between the cargo bay and the living quarters of the Freelancer too.
Fit a bunch of the pulses onto a Connie so doing bunker missions would be that slight bit quicker
great little rideable turret the Pulse! It would defiantly be in my corsair. The corsair is what I call my solo aggressive vehicle so the Pulse would be awesome jumping out of the back towards a bunker or camp.
The Vanguards are good ships though I'm particular to the Harbinger. Those torpedoes can soften up a VHRT target quite nicely.
The Pulse fits in pretty much anything with an interior. So some of the things I've thought of are the C8R Pisces for easy bunker transit and getting healed of those tier 3 injuries you get every now and then. For a more all-around setup a Constellation Andromeda with the new medical Ursa on board nets you a good all-around mission setup and there's always room for a Pulse if you want to take a faster vehicle to the bunker.
Stumbled across your channel and subscribed. Fingers crossed you hit your sub goal. We ran the Sentinel as a PvE ship a few patches ago. It was really good and the best of all the Vanguard. Not sure if our loadout will hold up now they nerfed distortion weapon and changed shot speed of other weapons. We had 4 Pulse in the back of a friends Corsair and rode out like some crazy space biker gang at a distribution centre last week.

vanguard was THE ship that made me go big into pledging. that and the redeemer will never leave my hanger and the bike fitting in them is awesome

I want to put a Mirai Pulse into every vehicle that has a interior, but the C8R is one of the funniest ones because of the respawning and that you can put the C8 into other vehicles, so vehicle ception

It's such a fun ship to use IMO. Try and grab it in game or test fly it during invictus! :)
Van's are great until you lose your wings. Sentinels are the most fun of the group, but have only have the armor of all the others, so you get chewed up more.

I'd love to pair the Mirai Pulse with a cutter rambler so when Pyro comes out I could explore the new planets with a bit of extra space for any loot I find.
Cram that pulse into a c8r for bunker runs, land at edge of spawn range then zoom in for a nice easy and safe time
Definitely going to be shoving it into my C8R as my rapid response ground vehicle to zoom into bunkers and restricted areas.
I'm planning on getting the Zeus MR, and using the Mirai Pulse would be such a blast to clear out bunkers and other FPS mission types before sucking up all the loot into my ship!

As a vanguard main I completely agree!
I think a better combo but not solo probably for two people. Would be a constellation with a medical ursa and another player to turret/engineer.
Just to note the Harbingers variant of the vanguard has torpedoes that i dont know if its bugged or not shuts down an intire ship if it makes contact, its great for dealing with the really big ships. Also i do enjoy the Vanguard series as my go to combat mission so i would say the Vanguard Harbinger due to how easly i can take down large ships that might have more cargo
My two go-to ships would be the Defender and the Corsair. The pulse would be a great addition to those
I've seen people even have it in an aurora lol. But where I think it would be amazing would be in the reliant series. Highly underrated ship!
I loved the pulse. I got both versions, rode it into New Babbage, in the elevators, and in the train. It was so much fun.
C1 Spirit is good and fun. Really great loading up the little bike without interfering with cargo.
Putting that bike in my Titan. Much fun to be had. Keep up the good work.
I will place that in a carrack, with the pulse. Park far away and use the Ursa med evac to get close. Have the bike just in case as it looks fun.
Neat video as always if I won the little bike I would use it for bunker missions and try to make it more immersive lol
I love the Vanguards but for me the best solo PVE ship right now is the Connie. 4x Deadbolt V. Full power to shields and extra power to the front shield, and I can do VHRTs and ERTs without taking damage. It's awesome.
the best fighter for PVE is fps. Take a connie or a C2 or other ship with decent sized cargo area, take grav bike, go to bounties in space, take on an ert, fly grav bike to ert target, board ert target, kill pilot, get out, get back on bike, go to other ships in group, repeat. gather any loot and the grav bike onto one ship, return to your own ship, profit.
Would definitely be sticking the Pulse in my 135C. Perfect companion for exploring and taking down a small threat, if needed.
I just got back into star citizen and in dire need to upgrade from my Avenger Titan, this ship looks incredible !
I actually hated the sentinel when i had the stock load out, but I actually went the opposite direction as you, and fit four size 2 MVSA(energy) and a Deadbolt IV for physical damage. It made the world of difference. Not sure if its better or not, but chunking enemies with a dead bolt IV is SOOO satisfying lol
I would like to put the pulse into a Titan. Small ship for bunker missions. But landing far off, the pulse now makes it easy to reach the bunkers.
Awesome video! I haven't tried it yet but it would be interesting to see if the Pulse can be showed into the C8R Pisces. It would be great for bunker runs.
I’m like the Pulse on my 400i; even putting it in strange spots around the ship. Would be fun to store the Pulse within the Carrack Cartography deck

Putting the pulse in my 325a is a fun challenge that I enjoyed doing.
I would ideally like to put the pulse inthe back of a cutlass red. Having that extra ground support when medevacing and a quick way to get out of dodge if there is someone waiting to strike when you go to revive would be a great advantage. Sadly i am confined to my mustang for now but my dream will come true someday!
I borrowed a friend's Mirai Pulse and was carrying it around in my Vulture. It was pretty cool as a runabout in a ship that I usually can't bring ground transport to.
I just started the game with the CUTTER STARTER and was unsuccessful, then I upgraded to an Avenger TITAN , but I still don't make any money. Lots to learn. I hope to make it count. Who knows, maybe I'll get a good ship like the CUTLASS BLACK or the PROSPECTOR, if I have luck in the game. Thanks for the video =D

That Miri Pulse looks like it will fit perfect inside a Corsair or Cutlass
My daily driver is a 400i, so I wouldn't call fitting a Pulse in it "cramming", but it's actually kind of obnoxious trying to fit the other bikes on the bike bay, so the Pulse actually makes the most sense.
Pulse being so small makes it a really good choice for Cutter. And the only ship I have currently is a Cutter. So I would definitely try to fit Pulse in it.
A bunch of mirai pulse(s) in a valk would be a terrifying sight. Fly low, drop them off and swarm a target (e.g. jumptown). Would be fun. 😂
My dream would be having the pulse in an avenger titan together with a nice racing outfit. With those I could go out on race tracks and have a lot of fun exploring and doing bounty's!
A brainfart I had would be more "bike parking" like the Origin Wotsitcalled has in the front. Could fit neatly where the snub fighter/extra cargo goes on Constellations.
The vanguards have always been solid. I used to enjoy swapping one of the size 5 mini guns off a redeemer on to the front mount. :D
I usually pick the harbinger though as I think having 3 torps is fun when you're hitting the larger bounties.
I think its great that we finally have a small vehicle option, not tried it yet but I'll see if I can squeeze one into the redeemer :D

I would easily bring the pulse along in the pisces. It's probably one of the last ships I had ever expected to see myself put a land vehicle in.
That Pulse would go really good in my Corsair. Perfect escape vehicle, since we don't have escape pods yet lol
I would cram the Mirai Pulse into my C8R, good for distribution centre runs. Also I am a as stated on your other video of gunships so the Vanguard Harbinger was always my heavy fighter of choice.
They said the Mirai Pulse is the smallest there is. As an Aurora enjoyer I would like to see how hard it is to cram it behind the seat and if its even possible to get out without tractor beaming it out.
Liking the idea of the Pulse in the Avenger Titan, but the Vanguard definitely looks a great use case!
The fact that it fits in a defender made the pulse's value skyrocket for me. In the end I'll be getting them in game for sure, but for now I used store credit to get one to play around with. It'll be going around everywhere in my defender.

The avant-garde deserves so much more. It should be the most durable of the heavy fighters. That's how it was sold. In addition, its armament is not that impressive for a heavy fighter.
If you want pure power then you should take the Vanguard Harbinger the pilot has the same a mount of Weapons as the Sentinel but the Turret has 2 size 3 Weapons, it has 4 size 3 missiles, 3 size 5 torpedos and more armor and range. Personally i would put the Pulse in the Hoverbikebay of my 400i.
The Mirai pulse can fit in pretty much anything. But I think overall it's just the new trend. I would just put it into any ship that has the space. But I think it could be really useful in a caterpillar.
I love the Vanguard serie,an iconic ship for SC, and used to fly a lot in the Sentinel but since the nerf, I go with the Harbinger tho…we need to see what’s going on with the missiles in the 3.23.2
I'd definitely try to stuff it in my Taurus, would make approaching bunker missions much less nerve wracking after the turret buff.
