Hi, fastpacking runner here. Very good alternative to the spot tracker is the Garmin inreach mini. 2 way communication and half the weight. For headlamp look at stoots for the best power to weight ratio. Power Banks: get a charmast (best mAh to weight ratio) This will drop weight, increase function and durability for all above.
Hello Guillaume, the in reach mini have a too short battery life for most of our events, the battery is not replaceable and the device cost twice the price. We'll have a look to the other brands you are mentioning. All products mentioned in this tutorial have been tested on extreme expeditions and wild conditions. Weight drop is a good idea but it must be studied with extreme care.
@@BikingMan indeed! Got those kit through a 44 days expedition :) pretty solid stuff. You are right, Inreach has a shorter battery life and is indeed more expensive for races. I was most talking for indiviual use outside of a race (I used both in the past). Cheers!
It would have been great to show how you actually pack the equipments within the bags: which item goes where ? For example it is surelly a bad idea to pack the high visibility jacket in the "depth" of the saddle bag.
Salut Axel, Ces vidéos courtes sont très instructives et je me disais que ça serait bien si tu pouvais faire des vidéos sur comment s'entraîner pour des sorties de plus de 200km (jusqu'à pourquoi pas 500km ou plus lol), mais aussi sur comment avoir le maximum de confort au niveau des points d'appui et surtout au niveau de l'assise et des mains, parce que sans ça c'est pas la peine d'espérer faire ne serait-ce que 200km. :)

Nice video, thanks! One small remark: Seems that a pump or CO2 should be mandatory to. (Yes, There's a pump on the bike) 😉
