What an excellent video, highlights to me were as you sprayed the top on the second side of the soft-top, we were able to see the brands name & the fine wording of the product close up. Also, it was so cool how you caught the rain at the end and the camera showed the rain repelling and beading as well as Rain-X. Well done. I will look for this product. I tried this product I followed instructions as best as I could and now my entire top is stained with lines on my brand new 2021 Rubicon. Can not clean it no matter what I’ve tried . Be careful who ever is thinking about doing this I wish I didn’t do it.
A friend of mine bought his wife a 2022 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon in Tuscadero Pink with a 2.0L Turbo (it is not a 4xe). This is a toy for her, no off-roading with the Sky Roof and Black Leather Interior. He and I were at the Chevron station in town and an older man asked us if we were a couple, I think because of the color. That said, this is one gorgeous Jeep Wrangler and everybody gives it a thumbs up.
I love the gloss and the look of the top after you applied it. Excellent idea and all soft top owners should do this. It's like wax for the soft top. I also love that option for your Jeep. On my past Unlimiteds I really had to put my back into it inside the Jeep to get it off and up on my upper storage in my garage. Of course getting help helped out a lot but sometimes that is not available. Now that I have the Gladiator I hope the shorter hard top will be easier to take off. Meanwhile you and Lisa have it easy with the touch of a button. Just vegged on 6 of your videos and find them all very informative and subscribed. Thanks
I used bestop the cleaner kit. The protector, I will say this when it rains my windows get streaked from the protector product horrible when you have to clean plastic windows on a jeep just to protect the soft top. And no beading whatsoever from the bestop protector. HHHMM is it really protecting if it isn't beading water off??
Maybe, we haven’t tried it 🤷🏻♂️ I just researched what convertible guys use and this came up. We are very pleased with it so far. If you try something else let us know!
I bought this to use on a vinyl Jeep soft top because I’ve seen it recommended, but the warning on the bottle says do not use on vinyl because it damages it. Not sure what to use

Just bought a 2021 Sahara with the same top and I want to treat it with the 303 fabric guard. Is the product you're using regular or marine??? Also, I love your hose attachment to wash your Jeep. Where did you get that? All I can find are foam cannons. Thanks!
We just use the regular 303, should be a link in the description. The hose attachment is from harbor freight, we actually talk about it in our Christmas list video 🤣
is the one touch top sunbrella ? if it is you are not supposed to use soap or detergent so how do I avoid this when I wash my jeep? I have a boat and sunbrella life is about 10 years .thats with out the soap... I live in michigan I would like this top but , im on the fence
Not sure personally, to me it seems more like a convertible or traditional soft top material vs something I would find on a boat. We inadvertently get soap on it when we wash it, no issues so far!
Would you still get a 1 touch sky top still if you’d have to do it again? I’’ trying to decide between hard or 1 touch. What kind of sprayer is that? Is it just an attachment or is it a power washer?
It’s kind of a love hate thing... if you really stress a quiet ride and or want a roof rack don’t get the one touch. If a few dbs of noise won’t bother and you want ultimate accessibility to open air cruising get the one touch. Personally, I don’t think we would get it again. Man that's genius. Getting that spray tomorrow. For some reason I was worried that the fabric would become stiff for that extra layer.. and in turn prevent the roof from sliding open properly

No leaks absolutely whatsoever. Our only complaint is it seems LOUD! But we do not have an identical Jeep to compare it to so take that comment for what it’s worth.
I would for piece of mind, the beading effect only lasts for a few hours. If you had a full rainy day it would be as normal. My hope with the protectant is more so UV rays and sun damage, I think that will be the killer in the long run.
There are a few options - if you’re not looking for something that will hold a tent or a lot of weight you can go with like a Thule gutter mount. If you want a rack that will hold a tent really the only options are the exoskeleton like ones that Gobi or someone similar would make. Not ideal for those of us with the One Touch.
Rhino Rack........they have a heavy duty cross bar rack with different height legs.....you can get the 2 bar or 3 bar system.......you need an 8" clearance......the #210 leg is 8.26".......I don't know if it will carry a roof tent successfully......

Do a long term review, a year or two later.
DO NOT do this. The top is meant to absorb moisture in the outter fabric layer to prevent it from drying out and deteriorating.

The top is great, mechanically no issues. We are not 100% sure we would get it again but we will explain that in a video soon, stay tuned!

Have u ever taken the sky top completely off to change to a soft top?
I have one and I don’t think you can take the whole thing off unless you to an in-depth removal because of all the wiring and special rails

The top is removable. About 8 or 9 screws on each side. Then remove back glass.

yes mine leaks on the driver side every time I wash it! Only when the door is open though.
Mine only leaks when I wash it with the top and all windows open 😂
