If he is evicted the lease says he has to be paid back a pro-rated portion of that money (300k per year for 25 years). Why should the taxpayer have to fund that refund (£1.5m currently). Just leave him there rattling around the place all on his own… at least until the pay back clause expires in 2028.

But the problem is that in the lease agreement Andrew was to maintain upkeep. The Royal Lodge is now falling in disrepair cause Andrew can't afford it. Andrew broke the contract so the 75 year lease agreement is no longer valid.

It is run in the name of the King, but he has no constitutal input into how it is run. Andrew has signed a lease, just like every other tenant living within the Crown Estate. With the size of the house, there are mandatory upkeep costs within the agreement. Effectively, King Charles is significantly cutting his £250k annual allowance he received from the Queen, resulting in a breach of the Crown Estate contract as he is unable to afford the necessary upkeep. The King is not evicting him as he has no legal ability to do so, but he can prevent him from remaining in-situ by cutting his sovereign financial funding

Oh, boys, boys, boys! There’s no sense in getting silly about the pianistic facility of the Princess of Wales! I absolutely respect her, so when I say this, I’m simply calling it as I see it, and she’s a very amateur pianist. I’m a classically trained musician, so I know something about the subject. You can see it in the hands and arms of gifted pianists….there’s a relaxation, fluidity, and confidence that’s present in their playing, showing their giftedness and years of hard work, but the Princess hasn’t achieved that. She’s very stiff and deliberate, even though the part she’s playing isn’t at all difficult. I’m glad to see her putting herself out there and contributing, but the boys here made it sound as though she’s a really proficient performer, but she’s not.
