      I hope he loves it. What branch is he in? My son is in the Marines and it’s been a roller coaster of the year as far as emotions go. You doing OK mama? Because I know it’s hard! :)

      @@OmiCrochet He loved his hat and I winged a cowl to match too❤️ He is in the Army....his training is still on going...He has had to change his specialty already and is now finished with cook training and in a few weeks going to do his jump school

    Thanks for the beanie hat tutorial. I like this design. Only problem hat came a little smaller then what I expected. I wonder if I should have used a bigger crochet hook. But all in all it is a cute hat

    Thank you for sharing your talent!! Could you advise as to what to if I’m not changing color? I figured I could figure it out, but for whatever reason, It’s not clicking. Could I just alternate between singles and doubles for all 20some rows? All in one color?

    I love the tutorial. These hats are so cute. I made the adult size one and it was too big. Do you think I could just take out a row of increase?

      Yes. That would work. Stop increasing when you get to 60. If it needs to be bigger than 60 but smaller than 65 then…
      Round 6: add one increase (anywhere) for a stitch count of 61
      Or…
      Round 6: in the first 29 stitches 1 sc, 2 sc in the 30th stitch. Repeat twice. Stitch count of 62
      Or…
      Round 6: in the first 19 stitches 1 sc, 2 sc in the 20th stitch. Repeat 3x. Stitch count of 63
      Or…(haha!)
      Round 6: in the first 14 stitches 1 sc, 2 sc in the 15th stitch. Repeat 4x. Stitch count of 64

      I love those hooks too! They are from hobby lobby and they are sold individually. 4.5mm up to 15mm I believe. Reasonably priced as well! :)

      You can always start out by chaining 4, slip stitch into the first chain to form a ring, and work your stitches in the ring! :)
