Thank you for sharing this video! Great information. I have a Dingo TX525 and I love the simplicity. I am in the market to purchase a new stump grinder and I am leaning towards the Toro STX 38. Have you used that one as a comparison to the STX 26?

I have used a 38 quite a bit, more power and a longer reach, it’s heavier so I use the 26 more because I find it gets into some tighter spots in back yards.

Can you take off the stump grinder part and put different attachments like a grappler?

It’s not made for that, but all things are possible…

You mentioned insurance. Another stump grinder channel said you just need landscaping insurance. Does it matter what kind of machine you have for what you pay in insurance. These machines are expensive so I was thinking of building my own. 😁

Landscape Ins. Will work, I would like to see it if you build one.

Dwayne Madsen where we are landscapers and tree service workers can still operate while maintaining 6ft. I prefer they stay 50’ back so no problem here. We have been focusing on emergency and necessary tree work as much as possible. How about you?

@@ArborNow Lawn care is specifically exempted from out stay at home order as are other services that keep places and people safe. So, a tree emergency would be okay as long as "social distance measures" are followed. Basically no crowds. Our county doesn't have any positive test results yet, but we are surrounded by counties with cases.

I appreciate your opinion, and right to express it. Which machine do you prefer for beginners?

Do any good models have a camera at the front so you can get more precision and see what’s going on? If not, they totally should. The tech is great and cheap these days.
