  • ENGINE AIR FILTER
The filter is there to keep dirt and debris from entering the engine. A dirty or clogged air filter can cause the engine to work harder than it really needs to, explains Champion Auto Parts. A clogged filter can lead to a loss of power, dirty smoke, a check engine light coming on and even engine failure.
    CABIN FILTER
The cabin air filter acts as a shield between you and the outside world, preventing dust, pollen, smog and other harmful particles from entering your vehicle's interior. This helps ensure a healthier and more comfortable environment for you and your passengers.

Good job. Kudos for using an OEM engine air filter. Also important to buy from an authorized seller at a reasonable price. Discounted filters from ebay or Amazon can be counterfeit, so that's important to know.
Regarding the cabin air filter; many will use aftermarket filters which is fine but most aftermarket filters do not have arrows that indicate which side goes up like the Toyota OEM filters but instead they have arrows that indicate air flow direction. Air flow arrows should point down in the direction of air flow.

Thank you.. I was kinda surprised to when I saw the arrow pointing up I have to pause and think about it, all our KIA OEM filters are pointing down, so I tried to install it upside down just to see the fitting but it doesn’t work, so i guess I installed it correctly.
