    On your other videos I see you using 90mm insulation board for the floor + osb for the floor , the wall base plate is 50mm so does your patio sill take up the distance so the floor is flush with the door, so approx a 50mm sill and track? 😮

      Doors are sat on the 4x2 wall plate so 90mm insulation the 18mm t&g leaves plenty or room for the 80mm door cill. Allows us to pack the doors up or down accordingly as customers sometimes have underfloor heating and sometimes don’t 👍

    How. Are you dealing with condensation issues on the underside of roof deck ?

      What condensation issues?

      @@creategardenrooms He's assuming its a cold roof if you are insulating underside. You usually allow a 50mm gap for ventilation that goes end to end on the top side of insulation. This then allows any water vapor that could condensate once past the insulation a way to escape. If it is a warm roof i.e there is PIR insulation on the roof then none of this applies.

      @@creategardenrooms You are not leaving 50mm gap for ventilation, i had the same question, as I think you either do cold or warm roof, with insulation under and no gap is it not going to cause condensation issues?

      @@creategardenrooms I was just about to ask the same question. Being a cold roof, did you vent it from the facias? Or does the insulation you used allow you not to vent?

    Will you be able to tell how much power/money will be used to keep this warm in Winter (lets say +3 C temp all winter)?
    You are using 2 X 4 wood what is the max R value you can get?

    • @creategardenrooms
      @creategardenrooms  10 หลายเดือนก่อน +3

      No we don’t have the calculations for that unfortunately. They’re warm that’s all I know! Build one and find out 😉 Maybe you could tell me 🙌

    what is your reason for choosing Actis wall insulation over e.g. Kingspan please?

    • @creategardenrooms
      @creategardenrooms  10 หลายเดือนก่อน +3

      Easier to work with, dust and mess from kingspan is terrible, who knows how bad it is for your lungs!

    What is the R value for it ?

      Google bud it’s different for all sizes 👍
