    How to saddle stitch soft leather which is like cloth with maintaining tension on both sides of thread ?

    • @AtelierSANGBLEU
      @AtelierSANGBLEU  7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Many thanks🙏🏻
      Like I said in the video, the key for the thin leathers is the pulling angle and the right amount of tension which should be practiced a lot to master.
      Even for me, I do some rechecking stitching practice when it comes to the different articles for the thin layers because I can still forget the right amount of tension and the angle for this.

    • @AtelierSANGBLEU

    Great video.
    Number 3 could be avoided if you used Meisi Superfine Linen Thread, instead of Fil au Chinos.
    Everyone complains about the Lin Cable being inconsistent, I’ve yet to hear 1 person complain about Meisi.

    • @AtelierSANGBLEU
      @AtelierSANGBLEU  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thank you for the comment!🤗
      I have the Meisi m40 for some tests and I think they made a really great-looking thread and could be the alternative for Fil au Chinois.
      But, when it comes to the tightness and rigidity of the thread, Meisi Is a bit loose texture and feels weaker
      The tight + hard feeling from Lin Cable of Fil au Chinois is much greater than Meisi....
      So... I'm still hesitating to switch my spools into Meisi products because of that issue, and Hermes still uses Lin Cable from Fil au Chinois and this fact tells something about it I guess🧐🧐🧐

    • @Raccoonsareawesome
      @Raccoonsareawesome 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@AtelierSANGBLEU I really like the look of linen thread, but not that durable over time when it comes to wallets worn in a jeans pocket, usually had to restitch them after a couple of years use. If you try Meisi, I would recommend you to also try Meisi Xiange twist, have a similar look as linen thread, but more durable since it's synthetic.
