On an improved total tile yield basis they do when comparing grassland stone to sheep, but stone actually gives +1 hammer yield to grassland's 2 food and another hammer when quarry improvement is put in place. Sheep offers a +1 food but is always on a hill (2 hammer) and gives another +1 food when improved with a pasture.
Recently found your civ content, it’s really well done. Nice work. Interesting approach this game with all the cities, I probably would have rushed longbow men and tried to kill Russia, but I think you took the smarter play.
A bit late on the answer, but: 1) It's another luxury resource for the empire. (+4 happyness - settling a city gives -4 happyness, so the city "doesn't cost any" happyness untill it grows) 1.5) Having more cities = more production and sometimes even more gold/science/culture for the empire. 2) Filthy said he's considering going exploraition this game - that has +2 happyness from all luxuries in it. (Mostly late-game bonus tho.)
very late to this answer but the other spot he wanted to settle had a bunch of barbs on it which would be hard to get rid of. in addition to what the comment above says.
I love how stone gives more food and less production than sheep :P
Hehe, I'd never had that thought!

Hey Filthy, why did you stop building the mine on the iron with one turn left? Loving the videos btw
When killing barbarians with cities, wouldn't it be better to leave the last hit to nearby military units so that they can get xp from the kill?

@@jns6320 thanks
Are cities founded on 1 tile islands uncappable?
xTheRealKestrelx no, naval units can melee attack into cities and even land units can attack from water onto land.
It's Dankachu thx dank
They are defendable if you have a very good navy
Settling on a resource such as wheat gives you the bonus automatically as soon as you get the tech.
Why didn’t you use your trireme to shoot at the barbarians ?
triremes are not a ranged unit. they cannot attack units on land.
