Brilliant! Well done. I love everything about it. I've just turned a vintage sideboard into a kitchen sink unit and will be making a kitchen island out of another sideboard and some dressing table drawers. Subbed!
It looks lovely and will be much much better quality than shop bought islands. I'm going to make one myself but haven't found the right pieces of furniture yet.
That's a handsome kitchen island. Great job. I probably would have added decorative iron brackets or wooden corbels under the eating bar area. Either way, it is beautiful. By the way, I love the brick walls. 😊
Hello! The paint I use is from the al fresco range so it is waterproof for outdoor use , making it perfect for kitchen cabinets! In fact, my sister is using it to paint her kitchen cabinets as we speak! Thanks for watching :)
Hello! So I drilled a few pilot holes through the dresser and the surface from underneath (making sure that I didn’t drill right through the surface!!) and then screwed in the screws from underneath while holding the surface on top. Sounds obvious but just make sure your screws aren’t long enough to go right through the surface and stick out the top! We’ve all done it 😂 hope that helps!
@@carlamcdaniel9425 I can guarantee you with its top half on it was most certainly a dresser - you're right, not anymore though, it's now a cabinet! Thanks again for watching :)

Love the reuse of items. Much harder work but so good for the earth. Well done.
Thanks! It looks better than new as well - I think anyway 😊
I'm digging the idea of putting on doors (instead of the dust collecting) open shelves.
Thanks for watching
BEAUTIFUL
Thanks
Well done, great job resulting in a beautiful kitchen island
Thanks 😊
Well done! I'm a big fan of the rounded corners. 💞
Yes we love them too! 😊

Thanks and good luck with your one!!
Turned out really nice!

Brilliant job, well done 👏
Thanks
Wow it's so different and well done. Love the paint, but I would wouldn't I? 🤣

Thanks! And good idea about the wooden corbels, I may do that some day when I have more time!
Also, raking out and pointing the stone walls was a long, repetitive job but I definitely think it was worth it now!
Very nice! Thinking about doing the same.
Thanks for watching! I would definitely recommend doing it yourself if you can, it looks so good and you save so much money.
Awesome!
Thanks
Nice. Love it
Glad you like it! Thanks for watching :)
Where did you get the router template? Thanks
Honestly I can’t remember 🤦♂️😊 but I think I got it from Amazon (where else!)
I love it 🌹 thank you
So glad you like it!
Can you use that chalk paint for Kitchen cabinets?

Thanks 😊
I’ve looked at so many videos on how to actually screw the top on and every time it gets to that part it’s skipped over quickly. 😪😪😪😪

OMG that is not a dresser.
It was a dresser I had just already taken the top off :) thank you for watching!
It's a cabinet not a dresser
