I enjoyed the video. I agree those lounging chairs are really comfortable but they took up a lot of room and now we just have camping chairs with a folding side table. I ordered my Release with your discount and I look forward to trying it out. Thank you for all you do for the RV community.💙🇺🇸🐾
Great Video. Since we do mostly dog shows we had to consider the storage of all the STUFF as number one when buying a motorhome. We had to go with a class A over the C for the basement storage. X-pens are awesome, we carry two sections for our four chihuahuas. Great for first thing in the morning over walking them - just take them out and let them do their business. The other thing we carry that is huge but awesome is the best in show trolly to take the dogs from the rig to the show ring. It just fits in the bay by 1.5"! We crate the dogs inside on the dinette in medium sized creates but also have to carry four extra small creates for emergency. Like if we have to get towed or one has to go to the vet. We also carry two doggie first aid bags - big heavy bags - the wife is OCD and has everything from canned chicken, rice to an IV drip! We have 130 sq ft of basement storage and she used about 120 for dog STUFF and I get 10 for spare parts and tools. Two other items that are big and bulky that get in the way are the shade pro patio screen that zippers to the awning and the magnashade front windshield shade. both are not easy to install solo (wife's too short to help) but worth it. Can't live without them in the summer when it's 90+ outside.
We had the 22" Blackstone we used to take with us, but we purchased the new camping blackstone which is lighter and easier to clean up after cooking. But we really like to go out and eat.
We have gone back and forwards on the different size Blackstone griddles. I got a 17" one burner, then I thought I really need a 22" dual burner. I also bought a 36" griddle for the house patio. I found I never used more than 2 burners so I sold the 36" and replace it with the 22" from the RV. I put the 17" back in the RV and used it for awhile again. I kept the Blackstone in the back bed of my truck, the 5th wheel pin would just barely skip over the top. The iron griddle top was to difficult to remove (tight fit) from the rest of the stove. It got to where it was just to heavy on my back lifting in and out of my truck. I finally replace the 17" griddle with the more light 22" new non-stick b=Black stone. It's low profile and half the weight and it still cooks great. I found it a little more easier to clean too. I bought the non-stick Blackstone earlier this year and was only available at Walmart at that time. We have these 2 folding rocking chairs my wife loves, I admit they are pretty comfortable but are too big and a hassle to bring along. I'm always looking to save space at the same time buying more stuff : ).
We had the zero g camping chairs for years and just took them out finally. They are great to leave on a porch or patio but we are done loading and unloading them. 4 nice Costco directors chairs with an attached side table are so much easier, lighter weight and easy to load.
I'd love to try the dog fence next season. Some campgrounds don't allow them... For exercise, I bring my straps. Bought some really good ones. Pushups, situps, straps, stretching... all is good.
to begin with , I loved my in laws and when I went to a yard sale I found two zero gravity chairs, back then they were so expensive and they had them on sale for $5 a piece, so I bought them and gave them to my in laws. they loved them and when ever we went fishing and camping with them , they had the chairs with them, I loved the smiles on their faces when they used them
I like the dog bed. I'm right there with you on chair Izzy!!! The only issue I have with the Release, is that the dirt is abusive and if not removed prior to cleaning I think there's a chance of scratching the finish.
I have a Pug Brutice the Bulldozer, lost the second one Maggie May, Brutice's wife a couple months back 😢, and a Chorkie, the mistress. I have 6 fence panels that I take when camping. Gives the dogs freedom to roam while still keeping them confined, especially when dispersed camping. I will add Izzy, the dogs are enjoying some freedom while I am sitting in my zero-gravity, folding, camping chair. Much like MJ's, but older. Both necessities even though they take up space. Camp safe and enjoy!!!
Haven't yet pulled the trigger on the Blackstone but have come close a time or two. I have a griddle for my 2 burner, propane camping stove and, at least for now, they fit better on my rig.
My wife also requests that we carry the lounge chairs, I agree that they take a lot more space than a camping chair. We also carry a Blackstone in our tow vehicle. Since we also carry a three wheel motorcycle, we pull a Ram 3500 and went to a motorhome with a 605hp engine. Got to admit, it’s excessive, but we enjoy our travels.
I love our 22” blackstone and never leave home without it. The lounge chair well I have one my wife wanted and it sets on a shelf in the garage for a few years.
This are pretty cool gadgets. I love the Blackstone and the chairs and the exercise equipment. And dog fence. Starlink is good too! As long as it works. Thank you Izzy and MJ for this video!
I had the love /hate relationship with the zero gravity chairs. They were comfortable but heavy and bulky. They only lasted in our RV for about 6 months I gave them away. I purchased 2 rockers that we like much better and are much lighter and takes up less space.
I had the 17” blackstone but have replaced it with the new 2 burner Teflon coated blackstone. A little lighter, clean up is a little easier as well. I had wanted a 2 burner so I could cook on one side and keep other things warm on the other side. I Have not used it a lot yet, but happy with it. Just throwing it out there. Good luck!
We travel with 2 small dogs (now) and have an (expandable) pet yard. We and the dogs love it. With the big dog, we would have to chain him up. Not great. That's funny on the chair. I have one, I can't live without, I also have a giant cushion for mine. I have 2 things for cooking outside. 1 is an old Coleman camp stove, 2 burner. The other is a split burner and grill. Love them both. And take both always. No, keep in mind I'm in a truck camper. So space and weight is limited. Love your videos.
Yep you right about the those zero g chairs, they are heavy and take up a lot of space! Got two of them and getting (fixin) to take them out of the camper.
Enjoyed this video! Oh my God, we can absolutely relate! We bought a pet fence system for the same reason - they tend to get tangled up in leashes. The camping chairs - we ordered almost the exact same chairs, seemed like a good idea at the time, comfortable but - ugh! - big, heavy and bulky, they take up too much space! The Blackstone - we brought it with us one time, it now sits on a shelf in the garage collecting dust, too heavy, too bulky! I prefer the lightweight propane Weber (with the option of a griddle) made for RVing and we also found an electric Cuisinart that works very well, simple to use, easy to clean. Agree with the sofa/chair covers, when you have dogs, always a good idea!
Another good video I haven’t bought any of these things yet because I don’t have my RV. I’m still in the timing phase, but I really enjoy your videos. They’re always informational and you guys do such a good job. You crack me up at some of your jokes and that’s great. Happy Labor Day.
I have used x-pens for years and set up so my dogs can go in and out of the camper as they want. It is big enough so I can have chair or picnic inside pen.
Hmm. I don’t carry any of those yet in my 32’ fifth wheel. There will be a Starlink dish. And there will be a pellet smoker. And I need to find room for the bicycles.
Now that my son is heading to Army. All his scout gear (tents plus) and a couple of Izzy's favorite chairs is coming out from underneath our camper!!!!😂 I am with MJ, I need the no gravity chair in my life❤
We got a portable deck system from Travel Easy Decks. They are 2 ft x 2 ft interlocking and height adjustable plastic squares. They make a fabulous deck and we greatly enjoy it. BUT! Each corner has to have a leg support attached each time it's set up. The squares are 4 to a bag and are heavy. And sometimes we spend a lot of time adjusting the heights of EACH CORNER of the squares to make it level. My husband calls it the pain in the a$$ deck. But - we love having it!
Love our chairs but it isn’t those ones. It’s the couple camp chairs. The thing we take that we never use… our bikes! Only one of our kids even wants to use their bike when we go some place.
My wife has to have a pizza oven and it goes exclusively in one of the basement storage’s on our class C. Rarely ever gets used but she has to have it. To me ordering a pizza already done and hot is easier.
I am also a minimalist. That said I typically only put my Blackstone out and that’s it. I do have a similar heavier, gravity folding chair, but I rarely use it. I have some simpler folder chairs which I take out and put back after using. I have a propane fireplace but also rarely use it. Maybe I get one of these wood burning, smokeless fire pits. I rarely setup anything outside even if I stay for a longer time in the same place. I do have a full setup of cleaning equipment, that includes Release and of course tools, because there is always something which breaks, including Dicor sealant and some spart parts. Luckily, our 2 Suissies don’t lay on any furnitures, we just carry two large dog beds. So, we don’t need sofa covers.
BTW: I keep admiring your Baystar MH. We have a 5th wheel now and have had a couple TT and couple 5th wheels and one class A gas. Now we just have the 5th wheel and have been camping one week out of each month for 24 year. I feel like I want to go back to a class A gas MH again. But as they say there is no perfect RV. : (
We too have a few things that I need to get rid of, but that would be about the time I would need it. LOL I really need to get some updated Liberty stuff. Looks great!
Love our gravity chairs. And yes, they are annoying, but we have really nice ones. We recently purchased a very nice 2 seat couch like folding chair, very comfortable. But, the wife made me take out the other folding chairs we have because sh says we have too many chairs. How can you have too many chairs?
Stop using that A.I. trickery with the Release demo. It's probably some trick- how you're folding the towel or something...LOL! No, but seriously, Izzy, you crack me up. I love watching you perform these Release segments. It's like you learned a new Magic Trick and love performing it :) Keep up the good work! -Todd
I need to show you our basement storage.. we have so much #stuff!! 4 chairs, a 10’x10’ canopy, blackstone, ninja smoker, bikes, flags, tools, outside fridge.. the list goes on 😂😂. Oh and that’s the play pen that we have for our girls. Great video.
I changed to the adventure black stone it’s bigger and lighter because it’s aluminum, zero-g chair are not for the rv (yes I have them for my wife too), Starlink for sure, love mine, and no way on fitness stuff.
I don’t know how long you two have been married, but advice from someone that has been married for 29 years. It’s all about compromise. So, if she likes the chairs and you don’t, you compromise and bring the chairs.
@@angelawynn1765 so sweet thank you! Will be walking around all day Wednesday on Thursday. We also have a meet and greet on Thursday from 5:30 to 6:30.
X-pens are too heavy and too expensive. I made our fencing out of PVC pipe, plastic garden fence, and zip ties. 50 linear feet for $150. It's also stronger and sturdier than x-pens.

I agree the zero gravity chair is way too bulky. Folding chair is the way to go.
For years, We have used the fencing for our dogs when traveling. We love them!
We switched from the gravity chairs to simple folding web chairs. We are in our 70’s and they were too heavy for us to lug around.

MJ’s chairs are comfortable to sit in, but as I age I find getting out of them can be challenging.
Camping in the R.V. at all these rustic spots isn't luxurious, but comfort is important, so I think the chair is reasonable.
