With regards to the Camco Evoflex hose it should be said does not kink as much, because it does kink. We had one and found it does kink, though not as much as other hoses. In your video where you had a photo of the hose connected to the water bib, the hose was kinked in a couple places.
We use the filters, but still haven't fully began to trust the drinking water. We're still using bottled water for now until we decide to invest in testing kits.
Hey all...I know you guys are a fan of Matt's RV reviews and have promoted Liquified. He just put out a great comparison video that shows how his product performs against the competitors. Very good video...as always from Matt. Just an FYI if you haven't seen it.
One change we have made is from Blackstone to Weber. I know, you can cook everything on a Blackstone and we have, but it still doesn't have that grilling taste. Plus, the Weber Q1200 has a griddle accessory. Best of both worlds, hopefully.
Again, another helpful and informative video. Good job! Recent purchase: Active Controls 50A SoftStart with Surge Suppressor (Model ACS50PS). No longer a need to crawl up on the RV roof to install a softstart box inside each air conditioner. Plug in the Active Controls unit at the power pedestal (or generator), and you're done. Easily run two 13.5K AC units off a small/medium size generator. Lou from Georgia.
Thank you Izzy and MJ for showing these items that are great to use. I love all of them. Love that camco filter and the Beddy. Thank you for these items and the video!
We bought the water filter. Did not realize that it only lasts 3 months. I like that it has a place on the bottle for the date of installation just like the A/C filters in a sticks & brick. Safe Travels.
@@TheFiremanJoe I said some...not all! We still have fire extinguishers (and know how to use them and they haven't expired) but the blankets give me peace of mind. I'd love to hear your advice on how to use both? XO & Thanks
Great tips as usual. I need to start using a water filter. One of the things I put on my Class A are Blink video cameras. I have 4 of them with two on each side, mounted on the inside on windows. I use two cheap Android tablets to monitor all of the cameras. One is in the family room area and the other is in back in the master bedroom. They stay on all the time when we are camping and I can quickly see anyone or anything approaching the RV. I also mounted solar charging LED lights that are motion sensitive and I turn them on when I get to a campground. They are mounted on the top of the unit just above each Blink camera. When someone comes within 10 feet, the light goes on and the camera records them as well. It's made us feel a lot safer when we camp. By the way, I used your tip from a while back about how to get the rubber seals to pop out when I extend my 4 slides and it continues to work great! Thanks. Now for my basement dwellers out there...are you freakin happy? Izzy didn't have the sun glasses on this time! lmao.
Cool items guys, I have been using for a few years is Flex-Zilla (Lime Green) fresh water drinking hoses, they come in lengths of 50', 25' 5' and 3' also using full brass quick disconnects. We use the Pro+Aqua 16,000 grain water softener with their dual stage .5 micron ceramic carbon filters. I also have the Garmin RV 895 GPS, I will only update the maps and system connected to my desktop not by WiFi, we were having issues with it and figured out if was a WiFi issue. New for 2024 we will be switching to the Roadmaster Nighthawk Tow Bar, Roadmaster 10" drop receiver. I will be doing a full review on the Roadmaster products. Also for 2024 been testing the DIW-20 Spotless dual 20" wash system for the coach and our vehicles, very impressed so far. Safe Travels guys!
We have tried the taste pure filter with great results. No longer need bottled water, and yes, MJ 55° is cold. Recently purchased a new water hose, but when that wears out or it’s time to replace, I’ll try the one you suggested

New for 2024: Replaced some fire extinguishers with emergency fire blankets (1.2m x 1.8m or about 4' x 6'). They don't expire and are easier to use.
Thanks for sharing
Fire blankets are a great tool for certain situations. But they are not a replacement for fire extinguishers. Retired firefighter here.

Great tips, questions, are you using the inline filter with potable or city water, or both? We use it for city only. Just curious!
City water
