I've watched you for so long,Hensley growing up, JJ coming along. This is just a new chapter in your family's saga. I look forward to this new chapter. Good luck to all of you.
Omg, time flies! I just realized i have been following you since almost the beginning. Sure Hensley are not a baby anymore, but all of a sudden she is so big, smart and witty! Good luck with the new RV, and i hope Hensley bring her dear memories with her over to the next RV and make her bed feel the same and that she will find comfort in that. You go guys!
I've literally been watching your family "grow" for years. Taking your journey's with you, from rv to rv, through Mexico and Africa. Enjoying every second of "your" journey's. Watching the kids grow into tiny humans. Your decisions always feel right on, so......enjoy your new home, enjoy life.....until your next journey and adventure. I'll be here waiting for another spectacular adventure. Good luck guys!!!
I have watched y’all from day 1! Soooo crazy! My daughter is in 5th grade as well! If she ever wants a pen pal I’m sure my daughter would love that! We are a military family and have also gone through many changes along with y’all. From living in NY, to FL, to CA, we’ve watched y’all make just as many changes! Children definitely play a big role in life changes. As they grow (and they grow fast) the needs and wants change too. Can’t wait to watch you along your future journeys! 😊👍🤗
So crazy 9+ years, i remember finding you guys on TH-cam 7yrs ago and immediately falling in love with your passion for life, family and adventure. You guys literally cemented our decision to go from 4 month weekenders to fulltime travelers. We even used part of your channel name in to our name Living Our Journey. We so look forward to the new adventures in the new 5th wheel. Our next goal is to finally meet you guys at some point, we will manifest that into reality. Safe travel LJMJ lets get going, because we are not letting go just yet.
We love seeing how other families embrace the RV lifestyle! Your adventures are so inspiring. We've watched your kids grow up thanks to the magic of TH-cam. it’s amazing to see the bond that life on the road creates. As a full-time RV family ourselves, we’re constantly learning and exploring, too. Looking forward to following more of your journeys. Maybe we'll see you on Our Family Routes!
I thought you guys were going to announce that you were going to move back to your property in Tennessee, but nope, you're opening a new chapter of your RV lifestyle. Exciting times ahead. Julie and I decided to come off the road last year after being full-time nomads for 5 years, we moved on to our off-grid property in southern Alabama, it's only 2.76 acres but the property sits on an 800 acre private spring feed lake that is full of fish. We won't quit traveling, but do shorter trips. Our little 17 foot Casita travel trailer fits our needs perfectly and it tows very easily behind our 2022 Toyota Tacoma.....
Oh wow! That sounds amazing! We are changing things up! You never know what we might do next, but I don't think travel will ever be out of our system, just like you.
Wow! We owned a 17’ Casita but never thought of living in it full time on the road… we sold it for an Airstream Basecamp , which you can’t live in full time on the road comfortably. We may get a new Casita! 😁
Love seeing this RV with you all, and using your experiences to build an RV for families is just amazing. I think you can make any RV work, but having the opportunity to take all the best and give this to your family is perfect. Thank you for sharing! Loving the TUB too!
I love the ride you've all been on. It's been so fun and wonderful to follow you on your life journey, all the ups and downs, and grand adventures. I enjoy it so much and appreciate your openeness with everyone! This next RV is going to be epic!! Here's to more journey's, adventures and living on the road 🥳 🍾
Great video as always! Cannot believe how big Hensley and JJ are now! ❤ you've made your RV a beautiful home, and the upgrades are amazing. We love love love our Battle Born system too! Wishing you all the best with your change and new RV! Whoever buys the 37MBS will be a lucky person as we know how well you have taken care of it. And that makes all the difference. Miss you all! ❤ Lots of love… Julie and Marc, and Sunny of course! 🐾
Sadly, we came off the road in November '23 and we now have another house. Just time to settle back down, as we were getting up in age and we missed a lot with the kids and grands and greats growing up. We did this lifestyle for 11 years full time and have no regrets. We have seen it all in. the lower 48 all the providences of Canada and we made a venture to Alaska as well. What a wonderful journey and we were so fortunate to have lived it! Good luck to you both and the kids, as they have grown and will love the knowledge they will gain with their travels!
You were one of the first rvers that I religiously followed on youtube. Found others but never as. Consistently honest about your travels. Thanks for those memories.
I've been subscribed since y'all had the Class A. I love that y'all have switched it up along the way and made your own touches to each rig. Can't wait to see what's in store ❤
Being full-time RVers also, we totally understand the desire to travel fast while also enjoying interior space. So far, we've been able to achieve both with our 33' fifth wheel. It's definitely more involved to tow it than it was to travel in our 24' motorhome (that was nearly identical to yours), but now we have enough battery power to run our AC overnight, our beds are MUCH more comfortable, and we're always home! 🌎
It is always both a pleasure and a uncertain time when you makesuch a monumental move such as this. But look at the memories you have and dream about the ones you will have. Best of luck!!! We look forward to forward to seeing more in the future ❤❤❤❤
Oh my heart seeing the babies: Hensley and JJ, as you traveled back in time in this video. We have all been blessed watching them grow these 9 years. Loved all the upgrade journeys you have shared with this rig. I'm sure it will sell quickly enough as your last motor RV did. Looking forward to seeing your new, completed rig and more Moss adventures. Some wonderful day, good Lord willing, our camping paths will cross. If so, meeting you would be like running into good old friends on our part though we would be friendly strangers to you. 😂❤
I have to say, I am amazed at the memories that you have been made while traveling together. I have upgraded our RV twice, and we are starting looking for our fourth. . Enjoy your videos
Excited for you…and to continue watching your videos. You’re one of my “Saturday morning cartoon and coffee” episodes, no matter which day you post. You bring joy to my life!❤️❤️
I would think a primary reason would be getting the one you helped design. Like changing lanes with their toy hauler and the one that FOS has yet to reveal.
That's so awesome! And makes perfect sense to me! We started with a 34' sailboat and ended up with a 49' catamaran, then 19' travel trailer to a GD Imagine 17MKE. Full-time 3-4 years (no kids) and have a rented spot for the winter, so I completely understand that slowing down when needed. Congrats on the new one!
I watched you guys week after week for the past four or five years. Watching the kids grow amazing. It’s all right if you stop RVing but don’t sell it the fifth wheel you can always take vacations like I do. And the kids will keep the memories you can always go once or twice a year vacation. It was nice watching you guys Good luck
We are definitely keeping the rv life, just not this rv. With the kids growing and changing, we needed to change up our camper. Check this week's video to see our new home!
We started going to our State Lake with a driveable Winnebago. In 2008 we went from a trailer to a Chapparal fifth wheel with slide outs. Thank God because my own children had children, and we still go every summer. Now instead of 5 maximum we are at 10 . 4 teens, and our daughter. We still have our fifth wheel that we bought in 2008. God bless. ❤❤
JJ was so little! Can't believe how grown up Hensley looks! I heard her say donuts. I don't think I saw her do the donut dance at the Balloon Festival. Come on Hensley, please do the donut dance for me? That was my favorite video of you when you were little! My favorite JJ video was when he was hiking in Hawaii and had to sit down because he was "so tired"! My favorite Mom and Dad video was when Marissa told Nathan that she was pregnant when you were in Alaska! It still makes me cry! I feel like you're part of my family, but have never met you!
Hensley is such a Nathan mini me! She looks like him and JJ looks like Marissa! Hoping the letting go of your home will open up new doors with your new journey in your new home! Love your family!!
My travel style is to go someplace and be there for several week, explore the area, and then move the next. It helps me to feel sort of grounded while still filling the need to be out and exploring. I just got back from hiking a gorgeous hike up along the rim of a small volcano in southern Utah. Yes, there are small volcanoes in southern Utah off the beaten path outside of St. George.
That totally makes sense. For us, knowing we want to be back in TN for a third'ish of the year has pushed our pace a bit. I think if we were not back and forth to TN, your style would be more of a preference.
This is what I’m looking forward to doing. Right now, my RV basically serves as a stationary summer home. I am looking for remote work and then I’ll sell my home and go full time. Then I’d love to be somewhere 2-3 weeks to really get to know the area before moving on.
So you're just getting a new one, not leaving the lifestyle. I'm not watching these 'on the road' videos by all the creators of same as I did at first. Back then, I was actively researching the idea of going on the road myself, but life has gotten in the way, and I no longer see that as an option due to changed circumstances and I have to face that I'm now 75+ years old, and not as strong as I once was. Hensley & JJ are sure growing fast! Best wishes in all your future travels! I can think of no better kind of education for the youngsters...learning should be FUN! ;-)
@@dzymslizzy3641 awe… I’m in awe of the 75+ folks we see out on the water, as we sail around with our family, and thank God every day our Captian had the determination to make this traveling lifestyle for us and our kids. I hope you will still be able to make your dreams come true. 🙏❤️⛵️
Congratulations guys! I can't wait to see the new home. Marissa you are so pretty, I have followed yall for a long time and you get prettier as you age 😊 from Ransom Canyon Tx.
I've been following you since your Class A days as you were on US Highway 160 on the eastern side of La Veta Pass. The first stop was at the Sand Dunes in southern Colorado. Hensley was so little back then! And, yes, those ever present pink boots were adorable especially as she splashed in the puddles. I can't wait ti see what you've designed! 🎉
My neighbor used to own an RV dealer. He told me that he always suggested a Holiday Rambler for turtle campers who go hang out and stay and an Airstream for the stop and go campers. When I was shopping for an RV I was certain I wanted a Winnebago View (had one all summer). I went to the Tampa RV Supershow and ended up meeting the Winnebago pre CEO unknowingly. I was talking to him about the then new Winnebago One, trailer. He listened to me and then said I would suggest something you can easily move from place to place with what you describe. He recommended something with a fiberglass or a metal roof. I stated that I should probably learn more about my camping style too and perhaps buy used. My single summer experience was stop look and go all summer and I loved it. I ended up with an Airstream and so far it has been a match. It is good that you continue to refine your space and time needs. Thanks for sharing your story.
I have been traveling full-time for the past eight-plus years, and I have followed you two. Your latest video details the life of full-timers who are learning to appreciate full-time travel and coming to grips with slowing down to appreciate longer stays at wonderful destinations while still loving and embracing the itchy-wheel feeling dedicated to full-timers. Stay safe, healthy, and happy, and keep moving forward in your family journey.
Thank you! It is a challenge to fight the itch to go-go-go, but we know that our lives are changing and the needs of our family, to need to stay put longer in each place.
Loaded your RV on the ferry next to an Airstream!! YAY! Less junk, more trenches.... WOW! It has been 9 years? Hope you are able to sell quickly and move into your new custom designed RV. - Jim & Michelle
Has it really been 9 years since you moved into your RV lifestyle?!? Seems like just yesterday I was watching you make the big change INto it. I think this is a really good new direction for you guys.
I’ve been a subscriber from the very beginning and I can’t believe it’s been so long! As always I can’t wait to see what kind of adventures you get into next!
We are a family of 5 on a classic 38ft sailboat fulltime for the past 3 years. Thousands of miles and multiple countries later we are still at it. Our living space is closer to 28 ft once you minus the cockpit and the engine with the bow tapering to a point. We are currently in Guatemala and hauled out for maintence. We are debating if we are heading to Panama or make our way back to the US to get a larger boat or MAYBE purchase an RV to switch things up Our family absolutely loves this nomadic lifestyle. We are weighing pros and cons of the above mentioned options and doing our research to see which direction our family will move next. I found this episode interesting how your family is also at a crossroads. It is hard to move forward without taking time to reflect on where we've been and how we got here.
It's so true! First, I can't believe you're in 28ft! Incredible! Second, totally agree - we can't stick to just the same with a growing family, we have to keep switching up our needs in these smalls spaces. Sailing is a whole other world and so amazing!
Can't believe you've been in that rv 4 years already..I remember the struggle getting the couch in there. Good luck with the new one, can't wait to see it. Happy Thanksgiving
You have given your children very special memories. You did good. I hope you all have years and years and years of happy/healthy times in your future. Thanks for taking us along. At 85 years old and the loss of my wife of 57 years I've given my own Aerbus to my son and his family. It's their turn now.
If I am remembering back correctly, I seem to remember that your 1st RV was a big 5th Wheeler. I’m sure, with all of your experience, an RV that you are designing and building will be amazing!
Thank you for being around all this time! We started, technically, with a big fifth wheel but never hit the road with it. We hit the road with a Gas Class A.
I cannot believe it has been 9 years!!! oh how time has flew!!! I still miss What What Wednesdays though...ohhh and the pink boots.... Hensley rocked those pink boots with all the muddy puddles...
@@LessJunkMoreJourney I remember when you found the second set of pink boots and you knew they were the last set she would ever have. So many wonderful memories and moments through the decade of time.
You can actually spot them on the picnic table in the background of this video. When the rig is parked at Marisa’s mom’s place. Used as a flower holder now ❤️💐
My wife and I are full time in a 2022 375RES. We added an Onan generator, washer and dryer, big rv mattress, and 8K axles and only two Battle borne batteries. After breaking leaf spring hanger we found the our hitch weight was 4,540 and approximately 14,140 on the axles. Our our 18k GVWR solitude was 19,300 lbs. our CCC is only 2,394 lbs. I was shocked! I didn’t realize that all those storage bays were for looks. I checked into getting a third axle like the Riverstones, but I’m told our frame is too thin. How do you manage your weight with a family of four?
We do have upgraded axles, and we do try to live by the name Less Junk, so we stay fairly light. Weighing often helps too, to keep us in check that we are always below
Hi Nathan and Marissa! I’ve been watching you both for almost 7 years. I couldn’t make comments back then for some reason they were blocked. But a few years after I was able too and I was so glad. I’m happy for you that you’ll be getting a new home a bigger longer Rv. Chat wait to see it finished. It’s so cool to watch as they make rvs I remember your rvs you had and you buying this one. It dues by seem like it was that long ago but it was. You both deserve it. In so happy for you. I will keep watching you as long as you have a channel. You are like my sisters neighbor in Tennessee. Because that’s where she lives and I’m living with my other sister here in Vegas. Can’t wait to see your new Rv. Home. Hope you have a great week and have a Happy Thanksgiving! 🦃🍁 you make a great couple and cute couple. Love good Christian people like you. I’m Christian too! See you all soon! Don’t stop much! Safe travels and stay safe.
That was a WILD time with YT where they shut off our comments for YEARS! It really made it hard to grow a community - grateful to have them back. So excited to share more as we get this new RV off the assembly floor :)
Awesome episode. Less Junk More Trenches??😂🤣 that was funny. We’re from Steamboat Springs, CO, so we know that Million Dollar Highway well 😬 Congrats on co-building your own RV🎉. We’re planning on going to the Tetons this fall. What do you recommend on booking? Camps or boondocking? We have a 28’ Newmar class A
There is some great boondocking the area and if you feel comfortable going up to Upper Teton View it’s our favorite. It’s a little bit of an adventure, but we saw lots of class As and we got our large 5th wheel up there. There is some flatter stuff at the bottom as well, but we love the view from the top.
We had the front portion of the frame reinforced at 1 year & floor replaced at year 4. Those were our two major issues over 4 years. We also replaced the toilet, one of our Grey valves, & a few other things but those were not warranty issues.
This is an awesome retrospective on the memories and experiences an RV can bring. We’ve been RVing over 6 years with our family and the memories that we’ve made are priceless. We can’t wait to see the final RV that y’all are building. God bless.

I can think of no better kind of education for the youngsters...learning should be FUN! ;-)
We're still loving the lifestyle, and have big dreams for our next adventure! Thank you so much for coming along with us
@@dzymslizzy3641 awe… I’m in awe of the 75+ folks we see out on the water, as we sail around with our family, and thank God every day our Captian had the determination to make this traveling lifestyle for us and our kids. I hope you will still be able to make your dreams come true. 🙏❤️⛵️
Congratulations guys! I can't wait to see the new home. Marissa you are so pretty, I have followed yall for a long time and you get prettier as you age 😊 from Ransom Canyon Tx.
Thank you so much ☺️
👍🤩💝You guys are pros at selling and buying RVs. I can’t believe how big the kids are now. Love y’all. Wishing you guys the absolute best. 🙏💝
They grow so fast! And they are needing more space.. time for a change
Thank you for coming along on this journey with us for so long! What a journey it has been and what a journey it will be!
Can't wait to see the new RV! I know a certain person took pics when it was in the paint shop for you since I spoke to her later that day. 🙂
Too funny! I wonder who that could be?! 😂
It's amazing how much research goes into picking the right RV, for your needs. So glad you found the right one for you
Yes! The badlands was our favorite boondocking spot! 🥰
Oh so stunning!!
We bought an Aliner with no tanks no bathroom…. A bed on wheels. Love it!
Oh that sounds exciting!!
Can't wait to see the new RV. Thanks for sharing, love yah Nancy
Thank you Nancy! We are so excited to share more
I have been traveling full-time for the past eight-plus years, and I have followed you two.
We took our little RV in the Million Dollar Hwy...Never again!! We've had so many different RVs so we get it. Enjoy your new rv and adventures!!
The Million Dollar Highway is a beast! Can't wait to share it with y'all!
I’m with you! Never again!
It's better on motorcycles!
Loaded your RV on the ferry next to an Airstream!! YAY! Less junk, more trenches.... WOW! It has been 9 years? Hope you are able to sell quickly and move into your new custom designed RV. - Jim & Michelle
Yes! That was our friends Living Small, Dreaming Big in their custom airstream. Such fun travels!
@@LessJunkMoreJourney Fun traveling with friends! We are subscribed to them, but they have not done a video in a year. -Michelle
This would be great for a retired couple with occasional grands to visit. I love it, as I've said before. Someone will love it.
We're sure someone will, it's been an amazing part of our journey!
Gee Wiz..! It's not even me thats getting a new RV , but I'm so excited for you guys I can hardly wait to see it!!
Oh thank you! We are pretty excited too
Has it really been 9 years since you moved into your RV lifestyle?!? Seems like just yesterday I was watching you make the big change INto it. I think this is a really good new direction for you guys.
It really is! 2025 will be 10yrs!!
Thank you so much for sharing your lives and adventures! Looking so forward to the new rig and next chapter of your lives! 🖖🏻😘👍🏻🙏🏻
Thank you for coming along with us!
Good for you guys! Lots and lots of fun miles! Godspeed y’all
Thank you! Excited to share with y'all!
Can't wait for your new journeys in your new home ❤❤❤❤
Thank you! We're so excited too!
I’ve been a subscriber from the very beginning and I can’t believe it’s been so long! As always I can’t wait to see what kind of adventures you get into next!
Oh wow! Thank you for being along for the whole journey!
Make sure you keep an eye on the frame for your new RV. I’ve heard of a lot of issues with GD fifth wheels.
Thank you. We did a video a while ago sharing our frame being repaired. We've also shared what GD is doing going forward to avoid this in new builds
I remember you buying that RV! Looking forward to seeing you in the new one!
It feels like just yesterday, and we’re so excited for what’s next!
I cannot believe how big your kids got, blessings to you all!
They've grown so much over these years!
New chapters are so exciting! Cheers to all the excitement ahead 😊
Thanks! It's time for a change!
Miss your channel when ya’ll had your Airstream - all the best.
I don't think we could do that now with two growing kids! But we really enjoyed the nimble mode of travel
Can't believe you've been in that rv 4 years already..I remember the struggle getting the couch in there. Good luck with the new one, can't wait to see it. Happy Thanksgiving
Right? it all seems to have gone so fast!
It makes sense and so exciting! ❤
So exciting!
9 years 😮....boy did I just age. I have been following you both from the very beginning. 😅😅
haha! I think we're all feeling that - no clue where the time has gone
Surprised but excited to see what you come up with Grand Design.
Thank you! You can see the sneak peek as we moved down the building line here: th-cam.com/video/h-X5RsUinz0/w-d-xo.html And more to come!
If you’re ever in western Montana again, I have a 1,400+ acre ranch you’d be welcome to boondock on until it’s sold.
Oh wow! Thank you for the offer Marv!
Pretty sure that you will be ok,and keep traveling and seeing different things
You bet we will! Just changing up what we travel in
I am so happy for your next chapter!
Thank you! Can't wait to start too!
You have given your children very special memories. You did good. I hope you all have years and years and years of happy/healthy times in your future. Thanks for taking us along.
At 85 years old and the loss of my wife of 57 years I've given my own Aerbus to my son and his family. It's their turn now.
Thank you, and what an amazing gift! I hope they get as many adventures you had.
Exciting changes!!!
So exciting!!!
Hensley is so sentimental❤❤
She really has a big heart ❤️
Can’t believe come across your channel on TH-cam as I been following you FB….looking forward to catching up…..thoughts from Scotland
Welcome from Scotland! Yes, we've been here just a little while 😉😉
So amazing to see y’all’s life changing.
Always changing and adjusting, just like those in a sticks and bricks
Well! I’m already cryin😢 again your kids are so dang cute and very smart.
Thank you so much! It's hard to say goodbye sometimes.
I cannot believe it has been 9 years!!! oh how time has flew!!! I still miss What What Wednesdays though...ohhh and the pink boots.... Hensley rocked those pink boots with all the muddy puddles...
What What Wednesdays! We absolutely loved going those!
Used as a flower holder now ❤️💐
Do you still have a storage facility?
Love to see your new one !!!
Check out this week's video! The big tour!
I Can't Wait To See Your New One
So excited to share!
Good luck guys!🥰👍🏴
Thank you!!
Good luck on the sale. I have seen some dealers suggesting that brand is tough to turn in..
The RV market has changed a fair bit. We know this RV will be perfect for the right person/family out there.
Time get a converted toy hauler / ok excited as a fan what’s next ? Can’t wait see what’s next ?
We did share the first sneak peek as it was going down the assembly line here: th-cam.com/video/h-X5RsUinz0/w-d-xo.html. so excited to share more!
Congratulations 🎊 👏 💐 🥳 🎊
Thank you! ☺️
Ya I’m getting excited with you as well. It’s going to looks nice. I can fell it! 🙏
Congratulations Guys
Thank you!
You are awesome Hensley😊
Exciting. new RV is in your future!
We're excited for the next chapter!
Really enjoy your videos! You have great content and production.
Thank you! Nathan really does a great job putting it all together
Awesome episode. Less Junk More Trenches??😂🤣 that was funny.
We’re from Steamboat Springs, CO, so we know that Million Dollar Highway well 😬
Congrats on co-building your own RV🎉.
Good luck I hope they put a good frame in ???
This RV does have the frame repaired, a few years ago.
Joined y’all journey nov. 8 2015! Looking forward to many more years!🥳
Oh wow, thank you for being here for the journey!
Happy Thanksgiving to you all! Can't wait to see the new rig!
Thank you! And to you and your family as well
That’s epic thx what an experience kids definitely going appreciate life more
Thank you! We're so grateful to be able to do this with them
I wouldn’t mind knowing how many times your unit went in for warranty work?
We had the front portion of the frame reinforced at 1 year & floor replaced at year 4. Those were our two major issues over 4 years. We also replaced the toilet, one of our Grey valves, & a few other things but those were not warranty issues.
Look forward to new adventures
Thank you! ☺️
This is an awesome retrospective on the memories and experiences an RV can bring. We’ve been RVing over 6 years with our family and the memories that we’ve made are priceless. We can’t wait to see the final RV that y’all are building. God bless.
It really is incredible how much these rv's become part of the family!
@ absolutely.
Yours was a 'great design' that served you well! Good luck!
Thanks! We’re looking forward to the next adventure!
