Also it is Tom of Sevenstreams, who's a member of the brotherhood without banners, and judging from the epilogue of ASOS, of the faction that followed lady Stoneheart. He isn't Whitesmile Wat
@@sergeant_chris6209 he doesn’t want to hear the song. Tom has been Ryman’s singer for the past while, so it follows he’s seen Edmure before while Ryman held him and likely didn’t treat him well. The only other thing that’s happening is Tom conspiring with Edmure once Jaime leaves to make sure the blackfish escapes to the brotherhood.

But the only ones smart enough to know that are Lothar and Walder Frey(and Barbrey Dustin and Varys and Little finger and Roose Bolton and Kevan Lannister and Randyl Tarly). Jaime can’t fight and if the Lannister army attacked the Freys the river lords would join the Freys for a brief moment to push them out before turning back against the Freys. Walder Frey would call all his levies and he has a lot of money to buy sell swords. Cersei Lannister is antagonizing the Tyrells so their help is iffy and Dorne is searching for a sign of weakness to strike. It’s not strategery
