Just backed this, discovered this project 7-8 years ago when it was just called Infinity and I've been waiting ever since. This game has such a huge potential, hopefully all goes well.
Saw you on Bluedrake's channel, you've got my support and Kickstarter donation! I know this is very early footage, but I'm still very impressed. I think with some improved sound assets the game will be really impressive. Can't wait to see the direction you take it, and hope the kickstarter goes well!

I know it is quite hard to make something as big as this and have no idea how many guys are working in this but your job is paying off that's for sure. Hope game-play and all is 100% like this, it looks quite fluid and dynamic at the same time. "Arcade" (physics and such) up to some point but very well done in my opinion, that's the important thing. Hope you can make that kickstarter...the new era of space sim games is here and hope it stays for a long time. ;)

That amazing view of mountains in the distance is the one thing that makes you feel like beeing on a planet. Distance Rendering is so important for that grand endless world feeling. I think thats No Mans Sky's biggest dissapointment. No distance rendering. It makes a huge game look small. Look how amazing it is here! Good luck infinity battlescape, i hope we'll your game soon ;-)

I know this is a yr old but what about missiles and guns on ships i mean yeah there are lasers, I hope you guys release a trailer showing ships shooting different kinds of guns and missiles and not just lasers.
It looks fantastic. I really did like how the ship's spotlight highlighted the battleship as it was flying by from a decent distance. The whole game from what I saw so far looked great. Pledge imminent. :-p
anything spore like is a bad thing... that game had potential and it failed across the board cuase of there cut backs and trying to change it for younger players. but i am tempted to get no mans sky... i just dont like the colourful approach to it.

The fact that this game is so slowly achieving the minimal kickstarter value just show how much games are made of marketing nowadays. If a famous studio kickstarted something with this quality they would gather millions in the first day. Best of luck for ya folks :)
Well it all depends on how long this game can keep us coming back. Given that the game is expected to release around September 2017 I would hope that it lasts for at least 3-4 years. Then add in development time for engine upgrades and you might well be right. This project has been in the works for so long that my time scale on when things will be done are as conservative as I can go. The sooner the better hey?
This really looks fantastic, truly. From what I understand from the kickstarter, this is going to be focused on full scale PvP and team mode skirmishes? I saw mention of an offline "experiment with your build" / exploration mode, but no campaign or bulletin board style jobs. That last part is very disappointing for me personally, but best of luck with the development! I hope you meet all your goals!
the graphics dont look completely modern, but the very nice lighting and smooth framerate.... ! and it looks amazing when the balls search the space wreckage! the lighting..! I think impressive lighting like that, makes for a better visual impression with high FPS than low fps.. I hope the diverse lighting sources and the high framerate is prevalent through the game. no time for grammar school

I love the trailer and the music, but I do wonder one thing. Once a player buys a Capital ship (which is what I love flying and I kind of hate fighters), will it be a permanent purchase or? That is kind of important to me since I want to back this game up if it's true that it's a permanent purchase and you can fly it all you like it.
